Our SKI IN/SKI OUT townhouse is near Blackcomb Mountain's Cruser Run and a short walking distance to the village. This is a one-story unit of approximately 750 square feet. The condo has new furnishings, beds for seven, one bath, washer/dryer, 3 Flat screen TV's and DVD/VCR, CD player a full kitchen, wood-burning fireplace and a private hot tub for your enjoyment.

I liked the house. Next year I will go back to whistler, to stay in the same house. But the biggest problem is that the house had no internet, the landlady even sent a technician once, that did not solve the problem. We tried other contacts and were not met.
The house on the day of arrival, had the roof with a hole, the entrance stair floor estva loose, had some scratches on the wall of the dining table. Other than that it's a good home.View Full Review
Great week in Whistler, but...

First, the positive. This is a cozy unit that comfortably accommodated our family of four for a great week of skiing. The beds are comfy and the private hot tub is great at the end of a long day on the mountains. Itâ??s in a convenient ski-in ski-out location with a short (200 meter) ski/walk out to the main ski run leading down to Blackcombâ??s Daylodge and the Wizard chair. Itâ??s also nice and quiet but only a short free bus ride away from the main village area and all the amenities available there.
Unfortunately, during our stay we had a number of issues, and we found the owners almost completely unresponsive and difficult to reach. They did not return emails or voicemails, and the local numbers provided for both security and cleaning went to answering services that did not provide any resolution to our concerns.
The rental information package has a number of inaccuracies. There is no phone in the unit so you will need to use your cell phone if you need to contact the owners. There was also no address provided, only turn by turn instructions from the main highway. As former Whistler locals we still found it a bit of a challenge to find, and with GPS in most vehicles an address would make it much easier. Also missing from the rental information package is any mention of the alarm system (or a code to silence it) in the unit. It did not go off when we first arrived, but did later in our stay and shrieked for quite a while.
When we arrived we noted a number of damaged areas, and emailed the owners to let them know (as they request). By the next morning we had noticed a number of other issues that we wanted resolved, and had not heard back regarding the reported damage. After numerous calls and voicemails we finally were able to reach them, and they were very pleasant and promised to have our concerns addressed. However, we were there for a full week, and nothing we mentioned was fixed. While our issues were not serious (broken coffee maker, clogged drains, broken lamp) and we were able to work them out ourselves, we were left with the distinct impression that we were on our own and were certainly glad nothing more significant required attention. All in all I would say your stay here could be nice if nothing goes wrong, but if it does good luck.View Full Review

Great Value - Little bit of a hiccup

This property is absolutely gorgeous! Only trouble was when we arrived the place was still dirty from the previous renters and we couldn't get a hold of the owners. I finally got a hold of the cleaning company who were AMAZING and came that night to clean it for us. They mentioned that this has happened a few times before with this property.
When the owners finally got back to us they were apologetic and said they would pay for a dinner out for us, however I have emailed and left them voicemails and have not heard anything back so far (been about 3 weeks now).
We got a great deal on this place so we definitely still enjoyed our stay. The owners are in the US though, and not attentive to the unit or answering emails/calls, so if anything goes wrong you're a bit stuck.View Full Review

Great location and great to have the little carport for parking.
The unit is well laid out but I felt I didn't want to sit on either of the living room chairs as they were so dirty looking. Carpet is also filthy.
I know that rental units used by skiers take a beating but I think it's time for upgrades to furniture. The deck area is in bad need of paint as well as walls which have chunks out of them. Bathroom shower doesn't turn off properly and we found it inconvenient that there was no soap in the bathroom; neither my husband and I thought to bring soap.
All in all a fun weekend. Thanks!

Our stay felt like a home away from home. I stayed there with my sister and my 4 children. It was warm, inviting and family friendly unlike a sterile hotel room. I was a little concerned that online the size was listed at 750 sq ft but when we got there it felt much larger and very open. The complex was quite and peaceful and the neighbours that we did run into were very friendly. The owners were also readily available when I needed to contact them by phone and were more than helpful. Ours was a summer stay and although temperatures were in the high 30s it was still fairly cool inside. I loved the private patio and hot tub! I would definitely book here again on my next trip to Whistler.
Note: This was only about an 8 minute walk from the Upper Village taking the trail behind the Fairmont (google maps tells you it's 16 minutes).

We had a lovely stay. Location was very convenient with the free shuttle bus pick up outside. There wasn't enough snow for the ski in and out to operate. The spa was brilliant after a day's skiing.
