Our home in Valhalla is newly renovated with Granite and Slate Kitchen and Bathrooms. It is the ONLY home in this area with THREE FULL BATHS - essential for larger groups.We offer a great combination of size, comfort, location, and value for a Whister vacation that will be a wonderful memory for years to come. It's right in the Village - steps to the shops/restaurants, 100 yards to the grocery store, and a 7 minute walk to the lifts (in ski boots, take the free shuttle bus - 3 minutes). It is at the end of a private lane that is safe, peaceful and quiet. We put in lots of art work and are steadily upgrading its appointments. It has lovely mountain views and a great hot tub. With 4 bdrms/3 FULL baths spread over 1600 sq. feet, it's ideal for 6-9 people (It sleeps 10, but 10 starts to feel crowded). There is a fireplace, stereo, FREE high speed cable Internet, Flat Screen LCD TV (total three TVs /DVD/VCRs), a balcony, private laundry, private deck/BBQ, and free garage parking. The pictures below provide the best description. Call or E-mail us your questions - we love Whistler and are happy to share our knowledge and tips with you. To book, click the blue RESERVE NOW button under the credit card logos at the top of this page - booking is easy, safe, and reliable. We promise you a wonderful holiday! Focus on Blackcomb Mountain
|Best steeps||Secret Chute, Spankys Ladder, Couloir Extreme|
|Best views||The top of the T-Bar on Horstman glacier|
|Best way to meet up with your friends||Those two-way family radios are now cheap enough so that everybody can use them - nothing better to link-up with friends.|
|My favorite day lodge, and why!||Horstman Hut at the very top -- great atmosphere, views both sides, and your pick of a descent after lunch|
|My top Blackcomb tips!||The best Blackcomb experience is off the Glacier Express and Crystal Chairs - Green. Blue, and Black runs with extraordinary scenery, variety, and generally fewer crowds, particularly Crystal Chair. Ridge Runner is my favorite run on the mountain|
|What I don't like about Blackcomb||1) To get to the good skiing you have to take 3 feeder lifts; 2) The Chateau Whistler crowd - too many pompous women with small dogs and big hair|
|What I like the most about Blackcomb||Blackcomb Glacier -- an immense valley that is a spiritually transcendant experience to ski. There is nothing else like it this side of the Alps. OK for intermediates, not good for novices|
|Worst run and lift||Wizard Chair and Solar Coaster Express - two feeder lifts that most people use all day. Seventh Heaven also becomes a Zoo and is, apart from the view of Whistler, substantially overrated|
Focus on Whistler Mountain
|Best afternoon run and lift||Any of the tree runs off the Creekside Gondola, which is the most comfortable and relaxing lift on either mountain.|
|Best bowls||West Bowl to the Right of the Summit|
|Best bumps||Whistler Bowl off the Peak Chair|
|Best morning run and lifts||Either Harmony Ridge/Bowl or the Saddle off the Peak Chair before the Crowds build up, then move over to West Bowl and/or Creekside in the afternoon.|
|Best places to ski and board with kids||Harmony Bowl, especially Harmony Ridge. If they are novices, then take Burnt Stew trail off the Peak Chair into Symphony Bowl|
|Best Steeps||The Couloir and the Cirque|
|My secret Whistler places||West Bowl for Good Intermediates, Tokum is also a great run for intermediates, Dave Murray Downhill Course - Classified Black, it´s really an intermediate trail and a blast to ski. Lovely runs off the Creekside Gondola, which rarely has a liftline after 10:00 am|
|Tips 4 quick & easy access to the lifts in the AM||Take Fitzsimmons/Garbanzo Express to avoid Gondola Zoo|
|What I don't like about Whistler Mtn.||Everybody skis off the Gondola and Emerald Express all day long, and the trails close to these lifts become crowded -- Much better to concentrate on Peak Chair, Garbanzo Express, and Creekside Gondola|
Food and Beverage
|Best burgers||Splitz Grill - very tasty fresh-made burgers, decent value for money|
|Best cookies||Gone Bakery -- Delicious Breads and Cookies|
|Best desserts||Cows Ice Cream Place- Great ice cream|
|Best pizza||Boston Pizza|
|Best place for breakfast/brunch||Pacific Wildwood Bistro in the Tennis Center just down Northland|
|Best place to drink coffee and surf the net!||Blenz Coffee - Free Wireless Service|
|Favorite ethnic restaurants||Crepe Montagne -- Really excellent little restaurant, the only one we visit 2-3 times on each trip to Whistler; Thai One On - spicy and distinctive oriental food|
|Favorite family restaurant||Our ALL TIME FAVORITE EATS are at the Pony Express Restaurant in Pemberton - drive up after a day on the slopes, it is worth it! Five Star cooking at 2 star prices, outstanding meels at about 12 dollars a main course.|
|Favorite up-scale restaurant||Le Gros Restaurant in Creekside -- Ask for the Duck|
|Most traditional Whistler eatery||We love Pasta Lupino just up the street - they are the best-value, best-tasting Italian food we have found in a long time!|
|My top SEVEN recommended restaurants||Pone Express in Pemberton, Le Gros in Creekside; Pasta Lupino and Crepe Montagne just up the street and around the corner from 7/11, Chef Bernards for excellent value. MEDIOCRITIES TO AVOID: Mongolie Grill (gimmicky Oriental food), Brew House - typical predictable and boring; neither Sushi place knows how to blend good soy sauce and their fish is unremarkable|
|Top spot for coffee||Blenz Coffee in Marketplace|
For Skiers and Boarders Only
|Best boot fitter in Whistler||Patrick Beahan/Andrew Storrie, at Wild Willies in Nesters|
|Best lunch strategies||Backpack your lunch and snacks and save time and money|
|Best ways to find out about weather and snow||Never trust what you see out the window -- call the snow phone for daily conditions. Clouds in the valley can hide sun on top|
|How I avoid feeling pain the next day!||Run for a month before, stretch before AND AFTER skiing, drink lots of water during the day, and hot soak just before bed|
|My most memorable day on the slopes||Skiing through the glades with my two children Eric and Cyrene, going fast, and finding they were keeping right up with me!|
|My top skiing/boarding tips for visitors||Novices can go to the Summit! Intermediates will love Highway 86 and West Bowl, and a little-known secret is the great waitless skiing off the Garbanzo Lift Also, two-way family radios are now cheap enough that anyone can obtian them and stay in close touch with your group.|
|My Weather tips!||Blackcomb gets less direct sun than Whistler, so high season snow will be harder and icier, but in spring Blackcomb will be less slushy.|
|Overall favorite day lodge||Horstman Hut at the top of Blackcomb|
|What I think about Fresh Tracks/First Tracks||I think it would be nice to try someday!|
|Where to find the best mountain food?||In your backpack - make a good sandwich and avoid paying 10 dollars for a hamburger|
Just for Kids!
|Best rainy day kids activities||Wall Climbing at the Core. DVDs and Books at the library, Our children really love painting ceramics at Expressions|
|Recommended kids programs||5 day adventure camp - best value for money in kids instruction|
|Tips for dropping kids off at programs||Get there early; forget the instructors, instead, muscle-in on the coordinators, and then get out as quickly as you can after confirming pick-up point and time. ARRANGE A BACK-UP pick-up spot with your child that is indoors!|
|What kids should bring||Layers of Clothing, sun screen, and if you can trust them, one of those two-way family radios|
My Money Saving Tips
|Cheapest groceries||Save on Foods in Squamish - turn left at the McDonald's Arches, go 250 meters,and you will see it on the right - much cheaper than Nester's or anyplace in Whistler|
|Cheapest times to come to Whistler||After Spring Break lift tickets and lodging are greatly reduced in price, the days are longer, and the snow is still great|
|Less expensive places to eat||For real flavor at a great price stick to Crepe Montagne, Splitz Grill, or Chef Bernards at Blackcomb Base.|
|My biggest money saving tips||1) Never rent equipment from the Mountain, instead use Affinity Sports at www.whistlerskirentals.com and tell them we referred you for an additional 10% off. 2) Use one-way Vancouver-Whistler car rental with Budget 4) Buy groceries at Save on Foods in Squamish, 4) Buy lift tickets at 7/11 in Squamish. pack your lunch in a.backpack while skiing, take powdered hot cocoa, tea, or hot cider envelopes and just get hot water at the mountain restaurants|
On a Personal Note
|Our favourite season in Whistler and why.||Christmas in Whistler is so story-book perfect that it is almost a case of reality imitating art. After Christmas, the best season is spring skiing with its sun, long days, and great snow.|
|What makes Whistler so special and unique?||We have been to a number of ski resorts throughout Europe and North America. A two-week vacation in Whistler ten years ago convinced us that we had found skiing heaven, so we bought our home here and never looked back. The terrain is vast and each mountain has its own flavor. The number of restaurants and activities is unrivalled. The atmosphere is cosmopolitan without being stuffy. The people are great -- invariably friendly, comfortable to be around, and gracious.|
The Drive to Whistler
|Best places to eat||The White Spot Restaurant in Squamish for family fare, and the General Store and Cafe in Lion"s Bay for views and tasty, funky, food|
|Best radio station||Mountain FM (107.1 in Squamish and 102.1 in Whistler), which conveys the local flavor and has good road and weather reports|
|Best things to see on the way to Whistler||A stop to see Brandywine Falls in the Summer and Shannon Falls in the Winter is worth it. Our family really loved the Railway Heritage Museum in Squamish, and in January-February be sure you stop in Brackendale to see the Bald Eagles|
|My safety tips for drivers new to Hwy 99||Keep your space cushion, keep a BIG space cushion when the road gets sinuous and narrow just north of Squamish, and generally be prudent|
|What I like about the drive||The view accross the waters of Howe Sound as the car snakes along the coast is breathtaking.|
|Worst thing about the drive||A) the curvy part of the road just north of Squamish and B) if there is a snowstorm the invariable newcomer to winter-driving in a rented SUV who thinks 4WD makes one immune to the laws of physics|
The Not So Obvious Types of Tips!
|Recommended winter clothing||Water proof top layer, lots of thin layers for warmth that you can peel off if necessary, and above all, wicking underwear and socks|
|Things that you should bring, but will forget!||Sun screen, CDs, a bathing suit, sweat pants, a backpack, a water bottle|
|Best day hikes||Hike up to Nairn Falls on the Pemberton Road - just park your car by the side of the road, it is about 1.5 miles to the falls, and very beautiful|
|Best places to go swimming||Meadow Park Sports Center, which includes a wading pool for the Children|
|Best rainy day activities||Core Wall Climbing in the Basement of the Conference Center up the Street from our home. Swimming and Skating at Meadow Park, Ceramic Plate painting at Expressions behind Tyndall Stone Lodge Browsing the Library|
|My recommended non-skiing winter activities||Cross-Country skiing at Callahan Valley, Snowshoeing at Lost Lake, Hike up to Nairn Falls on the Pemberton Road, Snowmobiling, and Dog-sledding|
|Places to work out||Meadow Park Sports Center|
|Top three must see/must do attractions||Core Wall Climbing; Cross-country skiing on and around Callahan Valley Olympic Trails to Maddely Lake, Cross-country skiing at Lost Lake at night followed by hot chocolate|
We have been travelling to Whistler for ten years now; it keeps getting better and better. We always find something new - last year it was snowshoeing, this year was Joffre Lakes (stunning!). We look forward to coming in the summer to go biking. My wife Pilar and I live in Fort Lauderdale with our two wonderful children, Cyrene 16, and Eric, 14. We have lived or skied in France, Switzerland, Morocco, and a good part of the U.S; Whistler is by far the best there is.

Me and my friends stayed last weekend and everything was just as we expected. The owners were very nice and accommodating with our questions and requests. The place was nicely maintained and we have everything we needed.
Location is very convenient and easy to find. The living and dinning rooms were actually smaller then it looked in the photos. A group of 6-7 ppl would be just right. But overall is definitely a good deal.View Full Review

This property is in great condition and has everything we needed for a weekend vacation. It is in a great location that is quiet and easy walking to the village. It has been upgraded so it has lots of new features that many units in the same complex do not.View Full Review

Very convenient location. The suite is good and well equipped. The vertical blinds has a few stains. BBQ stove was not cleaned and there was a empty beer can on the patio. The armchair shows sign of age. One mattress upstairs is too soft.View Full Review

Excellent accommodation for 7 of us. Only one issue: There was no welcome package which would give us the wifi password. We had to look through the email package. Most places seem to have a welcome package with these details. Patio for BBQ is a bit small for 7 people.View Full Review

Had a great time at this condo with my family. It was a great amount of room and layout for 3 couples and 4 kids. It was very clean, and there were plenty of towels and linens for everyone. The furniture and beds were comfortable and WiFi worked well.
The kitchen was not as well equipped as others we have stayed at, though it was fine for basic cooking. The hot tub area is very close to the condo and was clean.
Location is perfect- we have stayed in this area of Whistler several times before and like it. Very close to the IGA complex, but quiet once you're in the townhouse development.
The owners were very helpful and easy to deal with. Highly recommended!View Full Review
Disappointed on Condition of Unit
Pam from New Westminster, Canada
Date: Aug-04-2014 for a stay in Jul 2014
We found the unit in need of maintenance. The front door was marked and needed to be repaired and painted. The walls in the unit where damaged and chipped, need to be repaired and painted. The window ledges needed to be painted (peeling) and in some cases replaced completely. The vertical blinds were stained, missing the bottom weights or broken. One of the single beds was so soft you couldn't even sleep in it. The upgrades in the bathrooms and kitchen were nice, but the owner needs to do some yearly maintenance on this place. The WIFI info provided in the check'in email package gave the incorrect Network and password, it hadn't been updated, but our local contact in Whistler was able to help us with the info and was very prompt to return our call.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

The house was clean and spacious. We had a little hiccup at our arrival. My group arrived at around 1:30 and the house wasn't made up yet which is understandable (Check-in is at 4pm). So I called the property manager to see if I could leave some food in the fridge for our BBQ that evening, they didn't know we were arriving that day and did not have anyone planned to clean the house. She told us the house would be ready later then usual, which was fine, we left and came back around 5:30. The kitchen is well equipped. The BBQ could use a bit of a fix or upgrade, someone might have tampered with the switch as it was hard to get the BBQ going. We were a group of 6 and there was plenty of room for us in the living/dining room. The bedrooms are spacious though the bed mattresses were stiff! 3 full bathrooms to use with lots of towels. Location wise, the condo is right across from IGA/liquor store/and lots more. A short walk to the village. I would def stay here again in the winter.View Full Review Owner Has Responded
OK but not great

This place was nice and convenient to the village, but the actual residence had some flaws. The TV in the bedroom didn't work at all. The fridge/freezer didn't keep things that cold even though it was on the coldest setting. And we had some plumbing issues and couldn't find a plunger to help the situation so we had to wait awhile for someone from housekeeping to arrive to fix it.

This property is in need of some maintenance. On arrival you'll see that the front door is all marked up and in need of paint. The inside needs to have walls repaired and painted. Most of the window ledges need to be painted or replaced due water damage. Most of the blinds have the bottom weights missing and the seams have come apart. Some of the mattresses are very soft and need replacement. This unit is showing it's age and lack of yearly maintenance. The owner also didn't update their WIFI info on their check in package, it was out of date. We did find the modem and get the passwords from the local contact.
Disappointing! 'huge discrepancy between what was promoted/adve

Although the booking and check in was seamless, we did not have a good experience staying in this property. It is smaller, older than what is advertised and extremely run down. It obviously has been used by many people whom simply do not respect the property if it is not their own.The major flaw is the lack of upkeep. We were greeted with a broken beer bottle at the outside entrance door. All had mold in the grout on the bottom and up the sides and the dishwasher didn't clean the dishes. The furniture in the 'living room' needs to be replaced as the couch cushions no longer have any "cushion"!. crumbs were abundant in between the cushions on both the couch and chair. This isn't something we check for but when you sit on those pieces of furniture and happen to look down, it is obvious. All this along with uncomfortable beds on the upper level, a clogged toilet, dented fridge, broken kitchen chair and light bulbs that needed replacing we really did not enjoy the accommodation. Thankfully the skiing rocked!!
Affordable place to stay near the Whistler Marketplace
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Honolulu
Stayed at this home in March of 2014. It is an older unit that has had some renovations, mainly to the kitchen and bathrooms. It is showing its age but is still very comfortable and spacious. We booked this unit using alluradirect.com and found the price to be very affordable compared to other comparable units. This unit is located in the Valhalla complex. Parking is very easy with an assigned stall and many guest stalls. Common area hot tub was not very hot. More like a warm tub. The Valhalla complex is close to the village. But it is a little far from the lifts. If you were walking to lifts in ski boots you would be better off catching one of the free shuttles. There is a shuttle stop fairly close to the complex. Other than that, the walk to the market is very short. You are right at the bottom of the village so shopping is easing. Best thing about the unit is the price. For the size of the unit and the amount of people that it sleeps it was a very affordable place to stay at one of the best ski resorts in North america.
Comfortable home able to accommodate a large group

Well furnished, comfortable home. Three bathrooms made it easy to accommodate not only those who stayed in this unit but also capable of having guests from our larger group visit comfortably. The fireplace is a nice touch to stay warm on a winter night. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and flatware to make meal prep very easy! We even had one small maintenance issue that was handled professionally an very quickly without a second guess. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would be happy to rent here again!

Great location, clean and comfortable for 8 people

This was the 5th year in a row my group has chosen to stay at this Whistler condo. The location is convenient and it has reliably been clean and well supplied. This unit says it sleeps 8 to 10 people however the living room sofa bed is virtually impossible to sleep on. This sofa bed appeared to be a replacement from the previous year's however it was clearly second hand and well used. The owners have generally responded to previous input and I hope they do for this one as we would love to continue with our annual stay at Whistler!
Clean, convienent, comfortable.

We had 7 guys here for a long golf weekend. The place was a bit small for that many, would be perfect for 4. Lower level, right next to hot tub complex. Clean and well equipped. Small balcony with space for 4 or so. Nice master bedroom, good showers. Good overall value and easy walk to village. McDonalds in the AM was nice for a quick bfast and coffee.
Great family reunion

We loved the apartment and the location was excellent. We could walk to everything, so just parked the cars. The open plan made it good for 8 people, the dining area alone was better suited for 6. We enjoyed the barbeque on the deck and made good use of the hot tub. The user name and password for the internet have changed but can be found on the back of the router in the master suite. The local contact, Dominique, was very helpful with that. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

Everything was perfect, the place was gorgeous. It was very close to everything, about a 10 minute walk to the main village which was awesome. It was comfortable for everyone as well. I would recommend to anyone, and we will be back :)

We decided to have a family vacation in Whistler. Having everyone together in the same unit was an important goal and it worked out wonderfully. my mom is mobility impaired and we wanted a good location. The location here was exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was exceptionally nice to work with. Pros The owner, location, kitchen amenities, many bedrooms, cleanliness. Cons
Lovely place to stay

Great location and convenient to village and access to slopes. Clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of room for a large family. Well stocked kitchen. We had a great vacation and would rent from the Schweitzer's again!
A very comfortable and clean place to stay!

This is a very good and cute place to stay. I got my money's worth. Pretty much everything was provided. You could bake a cake with the ingredients in the house! All cutlery, plates and even plastics were provided.Location was perfect. Grocery store and village across the street. It was a quiet and comfortable area. Outside Hot tub was amazing. Only thing I would be careful is the heat. Make sure its not too high at night, or the rooms get stuff. This was in our control but we didn't know and so at night, it got really hot! the second, we learned :). It sleeps for 10 and just wished one of the rooms was another queen but that was a small issue.
What a beautiful place!

We had a wonderful vacation in your beautiful home. There was plenty of room for our friends and families. Such a great space to hang out and relax. A great location, just a very short walk to the village which was very important to us. We hope to stay there again soon, we wish this was our home! Thank you Manfred and Pilar.
This Place was amazing... 100% satisfaction!!!

This was my 5th time in whistler and I have to say these accommodations were my favorite by far. The house was clean, comfy, up to date in appearance, in a great location, and had everything we needed plus more. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a hassle free place to stay for a more than an affordable price. We walked everywhere we went which was a huge bonus. We had more than enough room for our family and friends and it was great to not have to fight over bathrooms. I was also more than impressed with the quick response I got from the owners when we emailed them questions. We enjoyed ever minute of our stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you Manfred and Pilar Schweitzer. You have one great place!!!
Great Location, Great Place!

A ladies weekend with some girlfriends brought us to Whistler and we loved this place! It very comfortably slept the 9 of us and had lots of space to relax & enjoy both indoors and outdoors. Our only suggestions would be to add screens to the windows/sliding doors or maybe some fans because it was quite hot that weekend and with all the windows open we were dealing with bugs in the evening. Also the pillows left something to be desired. However, overall we all had a great time and would definitely return here on our next ladies weekend. The location couldn't be beat!
Beautiful Vacation Home in Great Location
Stacy & Tom Sipinen from WA
We rented this vacation home for a ski trip with friends and found it to be a wonderful choice! The location was a short and pleasant walk to the main village. The property has been beautifully updated has an ideal layout for a group gathering. We enjoyed the living room and cozy fireplace, and found it to be very quiet at night, which was a welcome bonus. The owners were delightful and communicative, and took great care to make sure our needs were met.
Nice lodge in close and convenient location
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Vancouver
Overall the property was great. Easy to find, check in was simple. Very close to the market, and walking distance to the lifts. Easy access to the bus stop. Parking was good. Quiet neighbors. Cons: Hot tub was a public one, we thought it was a personal one. The hot water kept running out, remember to stagger your shower times, unless of course you enjoy ice cold showers. The place sleeps ten, but I wouldn't recommend counting the sofa bed, its very uncomfortable. If you do need the extra sleeping space, I suggest bringing an air mattress to lay ontop of the sofa bed. A few light bulbs were burnt out and didn't work. Other than that, overall a nice place to stay.
Simply the best place to stay in Whistler for 6+ people
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Vancouver
Manfred and Pilar Schweitzer's place in whistler rates five stars in my books. The home was roomy, clean, comfortable, nicely renovated and well equipped. There were eight people in our group and it was very comfortable given the fact there were four bedrooms, three bathrooms and large living areas. It was awesome. The home was located on the North end of Whistler Village, accross the street from the grocery store (which was extremely handy) and a very short five minute walk to the centre of the village. We were plesantly surprised at how short the distance / walk was! Parking was easy and abundant for extra vehicles. The hot tub was shared, but amazing and located right outside of the home. It was surprisingly quiet, especially given the number of units surrounding the home. This rental property was really well priced and I doubt anyone will find a better deal for the amount you get from this place. The only recommendation I have is to book directly with the owners rather than the third party website I booked on (can't remember the name of the site). It wasn't a bad experience, but I just found the owners to be much more organized, that's all. I have stayed in dozens of places in Whistler and this was simply the best for so many reasons.
Our weekend stay was the perfect balance of R&R; and fun!
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Vancouver
The home was cozy, layout was excellent, and we couldn't believe how many beds there were. We really liked how the sleeping area was away from the main kitchen/dining/living room. Having a full kitchen was definitely an upside as we stayed in to cook the entire weekend. There was a dishwasher, utensils, plates, etc. Only downside was there weren't really enough tumblers and we couldn't fire up the bbq (probably our own fault) Less than 10 minute walk to the village. We were a group of 8 girls and we all agree that we would definitely rent here again!

This was our third year to return to Manfred and Pilar's vacation property for our girlfriend's getaway. We enjoy the great location and the casual, comfy nature of this condo.
Problem on arriving! (then cleared up.
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Calgary
When we arrived there were sheets hanging from the doors, laundry in the dryer and a door off the hinges. After talking with the handy man, left a message with the cleaner and a discussion with Manfred who promissed to reduce the cost yet to be arrived at! The cleaner arrived later that evening to fix things up I guess there was a miss- communication between the cleaner and Manfred. Will think carefully next time.

Great location, great condo couldn't of been better. Beautiful renovations to the bathrooms and kitchen.
Not very good
Judy LaFountaine from Washington
We were frustrated on how and where to catch the bus in the morning to ride to the lifts. We finally walked in our ski boots all the way there and back. So giving directions on where, when, and how to catch the bus back and forth would be great. The kitchen was a disappointment with the level of quality of the pots/pans and utensils. I would recommend higher quality and more utensils. We also recommend not advertising the unit for 10 people but for 8 adults since more then that it would have been very cramped. When we Bbq'd our meat we found empty beer cans and an empty rack package hidden out of sight so the cleaners need to do a better job of searching the unit for garbage. Parking was great. We had to request more paper towels, garbage bags and toliet paper since we ran out. When we requested more they delivered it right away so that was good but left it in the entry way. We felt it should have been stocked in advance knowing that 8-10 adults would be in the unit. I thought the unit was larger then the photos indicated but we made it work. Hope this helps you. The coffee pot also need to be higher end. The first morning it ran all over the place. I thought is was of poor quality and in Whistler there are so many places to choose from you can ensure that your guests have the best that you can provide is very important. I was looking for a place that met my needs that I could return to every year without having to do hours of research every year. Sadly your unit didn't meet my expectations.
The lengthy directions and check-in package says where to get to the free-shuttle bus, which is about 100 yards from our front door, just across Northlands Boulevard. Thank you for the observations on the pans and pots and utensils, we purchased replacements immediately. We are always catching up and attending to things, and appreciate observations that allow us to improve service and keep things properly maintained
