The Kitchen is fully equipped to handle the hungry hoards. The bread maker and crock pot were big hits last season. There is plenty of flour, oil and yeast in the cupboard. The crock pot is invaluable in that you can prepare the day's meal in the morning and have it ready by the day's end. 

When we stay with our familes - the bread maker gave us fresh bread for lunch and supper, which was a perfect compliment to the soups we would have daily.

Fabulous home on the mountain

We spent a fabulous 5 weeks at Brian's condo this year. The place was really a "home away from home" for us with everything we needed to settle in and enjoy our stay on the mountain. Lots of space. Very comfortable beds. Well laid out, and well equipped. The kitchen is VERY well equipped. While some restaurants on the mountain were open with COVID-19 safety protocols, we chose to cook almost all our own meals at home, with the occasional takeout from Squackbox and Bullwheel. Brian is also great about supplying all the basics - soap, shampoo, paper products, basic spices, oil and vinegar, food wrap, laundry and dish soap etc.

The condo layout is flexible for two families or, in our case, ton's of space for two adults who were both working remotely. Brian is extremely responsive, and went above and beyond to bring up an extra desk and office chair and set it up for me in the loft to accommodate our work from home needs. Personally, I think the location is the best on the mountain. Basically ski in-ski out. A short walk (1 minute?) to Mogul run takes you to the Ridge Rocket and Snow Ghost chair - from which you can access Powder and Falcon and Gem Lake. Or, a short walk in the other direction takes you towards Bullet and Black Forest.

The private hot tub was lovely to come home to - and a service comes by 3 times a week to check it out. The village was a 10 minute walk, and the local market, while expensive for some items was more than adequate to fill in the gaps between our two big groceries runs to Kelowna - including a limited but reasonable selection of fresh produce and very good fresh bread - order 1 day in advance. On days when it felt too cold to ski, or visibility was low, we took advantage of the great snowshoe and cross country ski trails which you can access either from the Black Forest lift area (a 25-30 min walk from the condo or a short drive) or from Happy Valley (take the Gondola down from the village - or a short drive in the car).

All in all a great experience. Would love to come back and do it again!

Fantastic stay and host!

The place was amazing and perfect. It was a fully stocked kitchen and had everything we wanted. It was also very clean. The host Brian was amazing and was very accommodating and helpful and responsive. The location was great ski in and ski out. The hot tub was perfect after a nice day of skiing.
