We had a great time here. Brian was proactive and provided us with all the information we needed even before we arrived. He even sent us road condition info. Someone here commented that the place looked dated....some people may feel that way be we certainly did not. It is large and had pretty much everything we needed. This stay felt like our own family vacation home. Some really nice touches not always seen in our experience: really good sharp kitchen knives(!); fantastic comfortable king bed and even the jigsaw in the games cupboard included all the pieces! Made the stay very relaxing and comfortable. Nice attention to detail in the provisioning of the apartment so we lacked nothing for the stay.
Access to the runs took us a couple of days to sort out due to recent snowfalls (I know...great problem) but things then worked well with a quick morning walk to first lifts. The village was also quite close by using either the regular shuttle or braving the snow and walking....took around 15mins walk to the main village so convenient for evenings out where a bracing walk surpassed shuttle most nights.
We didnt use the parking space which was directly across from the front door and close by. The ski storage was unheated but under the car area so easy to access. Boot drying inside worked really well with nice warm boots every morning!
So...all up a great place to stay and enjoy the best of Big White.View Full Review

You will be in the Upper Village area of Big White. This is the perfect place to be staying. You are in easy walking distance to the Main Village. Do take advantage of the Shuttle-Bus service that runs every 30 minutes. You will also have excellent ski in/out access for both day and night skiing. Your upper village location gives you fewer slushy/muddy days during the early and late season stays.
If avoidable damage occurs, I may ask you to pay up to $400 for repairs.

|Check-Out Time||This unit must ve vacated by 10am sharp. We would really appreciate it, if before you leave, you could load and run the dishwasher, flush the toilets, and remove the household garbage to the outside disposal location just up the driveway. Thankyou.|
|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|COVID Contact Tracing Requirements||The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.|
|COVID Maximum Guest Limitation||The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.|
|Excessive Noise||You will get evicted without a refund!.|
|Housekeeping||Human error exists! If for some reason there has been a housekeeping error and the property is not ready upon your arrival at 4pm pst, we will refund your first night if it's not cleaned and ready by 8pm. The property will be cleaned the next day if we are unable to get it cleaned that first night. There is also a lot of clean linnens up in the big bedroom upstairs.|
|Liability||We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Ski Resort. We're not responsible for guests' personal items.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||We live 1 3/4 hours away in Peachland. You can call us collect at our home at 250 767 6480. My cell is 250-212-5833|
|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||10. Will be evicted if more than 10 overnight without prior approval from us. We've found that having more than ten people makes the unit prone to damages due to simple congestion.|
|Missing Items||Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.|
|Noise Restrictions||Excessive noise from the hot tub area is not permitted after 11pm. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to receiving noise compaints, and will be charged for damages resulting from the complaints. The outdoor tub area can be used after 11pm, but please engage only in quiet conversations after 11pm out of respect for our next door families.|

|Property Damage||Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property camage, excessive cleaning charges, lost, broken or missing common or private property items, smoking or pets inside the property, and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behaviour while in the property or on common premises.|

The Kitchen is fully equipped to handle the hungry hoards. The bread maker and crock pot were big hits last season. There is plenty of flour, oil and yeast in the cupboard. The crock pot is invaluable in that you can prepare the day's meal in the morning and have it ready by the day's end.
When we stay with our familes - the bread maker gave us fresh bread for lunch and supper, which was a perfect compliment to the soups we would have daily.

This living room has a double height ceiling and an impressive bank of windows next to a river-rock style gas fireplace that's built right up to the ceiling. The hot tub is right out the sliding glass doors on the sun (aka snow) deck. You have a chesterfield, a loveseat and a single comfey chair to relax in. You're in the common area that also contains the eating and cooking areas. There's no funny step-ups or step-downs in this lower level so its very easy to move around.
The dining area is sandwiched between the cooking and living areas, and has a big rectangular wooden table that seats eight hopefully hungry and appreciative people. Two more late-comers can sit right next by at the kitchen area working island.
The loft/den area is HUGE. The original plans had the loft smaller, but it was expanded and sliding privacy doors were installed to make an optional third bedroom as a den. The third bathroom is really close to the den. This unit has an exceptional layout. The living area has a double high ceiling. Above the ceiling is the upper sleeping area. The gas fireplace has a river rock style mantle that extends right up to the ceiling. The south facing wall is completely filled with windows that have wooden venietian slats that add to the rustic yet roomy effect. This unit's layout and location gives you a quiet private convenient location on the hill Once you're inside, you have lots of room to relax and dry out, as well as lots of privacy for those who wish to chill out
