The Kitchen is fully equipped to handle the hungry hoards. The bread maker and crock pot were big hits last season. There is plenty of flour, oil and yeast in the cupboard. The crock pot is invaluable in that you can prepare the day's meal in the morning and have it ready by the day's end. 

When we stay with our familes - the bread maker gave us fresh bread for lunch and supper, which was a perfect compliment to the soups we would have daily.

The property and host were excellent BUT the property in our view is not ski in/ski out.

Contact with the host was far better than one could reasonably expect and the accommodation and kitchen facilities exceeded our wildest dreams. However, ski out is approximately a 200 meter walk, either, uphill to Mogul track or over a snow plough dump then flat to Hummingbird. Of course, both directions are with skis and ski boots. Ski in is only possible from Mogul track providing there is enough snow on the road. This, of course, would probably be no problem to fit youngsters but to us fit(ish) seniors proved quite an effort.

Would we stay again - yes, probably, as everything else about the accommodation and outdoor hot tub were excellent.

Fabulous home on the mountain

We spent a fabulous 5 weeks at Brian's condo this year. The place was really a "home away from home" for us with everything we needed to settle in and enjoy our stay on the mountain. Lots of space. Very comfortable beds. Well laid out, and well equipped. The kitchen is VERY well equipped. While some restaurants on the mountain were open with COVID-19 safety protocols, we chose to cook almost all our own meals at home, with the occasional takeout from Squackbox and Bullwheel. Brian is also great about supplying all the basics - soap, shampoo, paper products, basic spices, oil and vinegar, food wrap, laundry and dish soap etc.

The condo layout is flexible for two families or, in our case, ton's of space for two adults who were both working remotely. Brian is extremely responsive, and went above and beyond to bring up an extra desk and office chair and set it up for me in the loft to accommodate our work from home needs. Personally, I think the location is the best on the mountain. Basically ski in-ski out. A short walk (1 minute?) to Mogul run takes you to the Ridge Rocket and Snow Ghost chair - from which you can access Powder and Falcon and Gem Lake. Or, a short walk in the other direction takes you towards Bullet and Black Forest.

The private hot tub was lovely to come home to - and a service comes by 3 times a week to check it out. The village was a 10 minute walk, and the local market, while expensive for some items was more than adequate to fill in the gaps between our two big groceries runs to Kelowna - including a limited but reasonable selection of fresh produce and very good fresh bread - order 1 day in advance. On days when it felt too cold to ski, or visibility was low, we took advantage of the great snowshoe and cross country ski trails which you can access either from the Black Forest lift area (a 25-30 min walk from the condo or a short drive) or from Happy Valley (take the Gondola down from the village - or a short drive in the car).

All in all a great experience. Would love to come back and do it again!

We had a great time here. Brian was proactive and provided us with all the information we needed even before we arrived. He even sent us road condition info. Someone here commented that the place looked dated....some people may feel that way be we certainly did not. It is large and had pretty much everything we needed. For the skiers among you, the closest run is 150 meters away.

Powder Week at Big White

This stay felt like our own family vacation home. Some really nice touches not always seen in our experience: really good sharp kitchen knives(!); fantastic comfortable king bed and even the jigsaw in the games cupboard included all the pieces! Made the stay very relaxing and comfortable. Nice attention to detail in the provisioning of the apartment so we lacked nothing for the stay.

Access to the runs took us a couple of days to sort out due to recent snowfalls (I know...great problem) but things then worked well with a quick morning walk to first lifts. The village was also quite close by using either the regular shuttle or braving the snow and walking....took around 15mins walk to the main village so convenient for evenings out where a bracing walk surpassed shuttle most nights.

We didnt use the parking space which was directly across from the front door and close by. The ski storage was unheated but under the car area so easy to access. Boot drying inside worked really well with nice warm boots every morning!

So...all up a great place to stay and enjoy the best of Big White.

This is our third year staying at the property and we had another fantastic stay. The unit is well maintained and Brian is very attentive to any suggestions and comments. The recent upgrade of the TV and wireless was great as we spent our down time watching the Olympics. Great location for in/out to the ski hill and a 5 minute walk to village. Neighbors are great and we always have a fun relaxing in the hot tub.

I have recommended this unit to our friends as it is great for groups up to 8 people easily.

Great place! Just stayed 7 nights and it was wonderful! Very well equipped kitchen and the rest of the townhouse, good location, very close to ski lifts and only a short walk to village.

Very much appreciated some of the little extra including spices, tea, lots of dishes, glasses ect. so we could have friends over and even had laundry soap making doing a wash very simple. We could have used a few more towels for the hot tub but this is minor. Loved the south facing location and quite setting from the living room and especially the hot tub. Thanks!

Good vacation unit for family.

Brian really takes care of all our need during our stay and we have a worry free vacation. He even texted us before we checked in and advised us if there is any issue. I had been renting other unit before but received that kind of care from a owner.

The unit is in the upper hill which is good spot for ski in and out. We are able to ski back to the unit's front door. Ski out will take a bit of walking out to the run. Not an issue as our van is parked in front of the unit, we use the van to carry the ski up to the run's entrance, off load the luggages also easier too without elevator, just a few steps. This is a plus for me.

The layout was perfect for our group - the kids and adults had enough space. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with good quality pans and plenty of dishes. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have covered parking since it snowed about 3 feet while we were there. Short walk to village. All around great place to stay. We will see if it's available for our next visit.

We stayed at Treetops from March 11-18 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were a combined family, 4 adults, 1 nine year old boy and found the condo extremely comfortable well equipped and spacious. Only one meal was eaten at a restaurant, the rest were prepared at the condo. The fact that we could ski back for lunch was a huge plus! The hot tub was also a big hit for everyone.

Communication with Brian before, during and after our stay was prompt and friendly. Definitely a great place to stay!

We were one couple and 3 friends and there was plenty of room for all of us .Brian, the owner was very quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. The condo is nicely located for ski in, ski out access. We had a great week and stayed in more than we thought because we were so comfortable after skiing, it was hard to leave!The hot tub was a great apres ski coupled with a lovely fireplace to sit around in the evening. I highly recommend this condo to anyone wishing to stay at Big White!

This was our families second year in a row staying at this property. Brian is great at responding to requests and follow up. The unit is excellent for large family and the location provides easy access to the village, runs and is in a quiet area. We have stayed at Big White in different locations over the last 9 years and find this one to be one of the best for value and space. Could still use some technology upgrades for router speed and TV's but all in all a great vacation spot.

A great place to stay in Big White

We spent 4 nights at #35 Treetops. This is a spacious, clean, and well located property. Access to the lifts is only a 1 minute walk up the road. At the end of the day, you can ski right to the complex down the back trail. A 5-minute walk down the road will take you to the heart of the village. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The private hot tub is easily accessible through sliding doors of the main room. There was an ample supply of towels and facecloths in each of the 3 bathrooms. Multiple thermostats allowed for every member of our party to keep there rooms at their desired temperature. Brian was very responsive and answered all of our pre-stay questions promptly and comprehensively. Check-in and check-out could not have gone smoother. Overall, we found this property to be very well kept up and maintained. Clearly a sign of an invested and caring owner. We would recommend this property as a great place to stay in Big White.

Perfect for two families - had 4 kids sharing the loft area with parents in upper rooms (each with ensuite bathrooms - bonus). The unit had lots of outdoor space right by the hot tub where the kids spent hours apres-ski playing/sledding in the snow. Wish we had more time to use all the appliances in the kitchen! The front door and DVD player were a bit temperamental but did not spoil our stay. Easiest ski-in/out access via Mogul Track.

The owners were very attentive, sending us welcome and farewell messages/instructions during our stay. Highly recommended.

2 Family Vacation

This location worked very well for 2 families (4 adults and 2 3.5 year old boys). There were a few problems when we arrived but the owner responded promptly.

The Snow was great while we were there and the snow clearing crew had the front steps clean before we got out of the house each morning. The hot tub was well monitored and they have a few nice items in the kitchen (bread maker, and Waffle maker. to give you a few nice options during your stay. We could ski back to our front door and it was only about 100 m to walk up the driveway to to ski out.

Very nice accomodations for 2 families to stay for 5 nights. Skiing in to the condo was ok, however, skiing out was a bit of work especially with having some smaller children. Overall, the condo was well maintained, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed (minus a BBQ).
