Lovely place, plenty of space, in good condition, and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the dishes / utensils / pots / pans you will need to cook yourself.
The hot tub kept us warm in a -17C blizzard! Note to other visitors: this unit is great for ski-in/ski-out but not very walkable - a bit of a hike to get back up from the village, you'll probably prefer to drive rather than walk. Also the pull-out couch is about the least comfortable I've seen, you'd be better off bringing an air mattress.View Full Review

The condo is spacious and well-appointed. It provides a lot of privacy and many luxury touches. We found it the best location in Big White: you can ski out to all major chairlifts and ski in from many runs right to your door.
The only issue we faced was contacting the owner before arrival. Be aware that the standard check-in package does not include condo address and access information. You will need a Welcome package, which is sent by owner right before the arrival. In my case, the package was not sent, and ended up in the junk folder when I requested it. I had hard time to reach the owner and even considered last-minute trip cancellation.View Full Review

We had a great stay at Danielâ??s apartment at The Aspens, as a party of 3 adults and 2 teenagers. It is spacious and warm. The kitchen worked well and had all the facilities we needed. The water filter and ice maker on the fridge were not operating - but other owners said this was a common problem and there were ice cube trays provided to make ice. Bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and water heating worked well in the showers. It would have been great if the den had 1 or 2 bunk beds for our teenagers, but we managed with the 2 fold out sofa beds (1 in the den and 1 in the main lounge). The washing machine and dryer are a good size and worked very well. The spa tub was good and, apart from a minor leak which was rectified quite quickly, worked well.
My only reasons for the 4 star rating overall were that -
- 1. We had trouble getting into the unit on arrival, as the code we were given on our email did not open the door (seems like there was a mix up with the cleaner setting up the code). We couldnâ??t contact the manager initially, but thankfully another owner helped us and suggested trying different combinations and found the one which worked. A bit stressful, as we had cold groceries with us for refrigeration!
- 2. We had no wifi or TV for a few days as a result of a major provider change at the whole resort. Daniel tried to have that rectified once we contacted him about it but the Xmas/New Year period meant that technicians were not then available. As a stop gap, he arranged for us to piggy back onto the neighbours wifi - many thanks to this unit owner for allowing us to do this. There was still no TV but we did have limited internet access, and Daniel brought over his collection of DVD movies for us to use - much appreciated. By the end of our 2nd week the connections were installed and the unit finally had its own wifi and TV service - much appreciated by all.
- 3. Just a query - we had the impression from the documentation that our unit would be serviced during our 5 week stay (as part of he package), but were told that this was not case in reality. I would suggest that the information sheet should be altered to prevent any confusion in the future.
Otherwise we had a great stay and would highly recommend Danielâ??s unit. Great for ski in and ski out, and the village shuttle bus is very handy.View Full Review
