This unit is wonderfully spacious, well-kept and comfortable... in the lovely and peaceful Mountain Star resort. We love the Blackcomb side and this place is an easy 2-minute walk downhill to the ski-out trail to lower Cruiser (you pop out at roughly Pole 6 of Wizard Express chairlift) which takes you down to Blackcomb base and Wizard upload.

Tip: if you spend the day skiing Whistler side, take the Excalibur gondola from village to Base II, cut hard left through learning area and across Lower Cruiser and you will find yourself at the trail leading into the Coast hotel and Mountain Star. As you are a fair bit up the mountain, the shuttle is an easy way to get down to the village and back.

Very well-equipped unit - extra linens and towels, staples, fondue!, (could use some more glassware, however), books, DVDs, games, plenty of extras... and a nice private hot tub out back. Owner very responsive and offers excellent instructions. Very nice to deal with someone who skis, understands your needs, and knows the area! Tip: If arriving after dark, drive to end of the Mountain Star Lane to unload, walk up stairs on right and double back 4 doors to reach the unit.

We absolutely adored the condo. It was an easy walk (less than 5 minutes) to ski down the mountain, and I think it would have been shorter if there had been more snow. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us!

Location , location, location!

Mountain Star is next to the Coast Hotel, the highest location on Blackcomb Mountain.

We are right on Blackcomb Mountain, ski in ski out to Wizard chair.  We are a 10 minute walk to the Village or take the free shuttle bus.

We love parking our car and forgetting about it until we leave, many of our guests that fly in do not rent a car as you do not need one once you are here

Cancellations Made by Guests Payments are 75% refundable with 6 months notice. All other payments are non-refundable, except if booking can be replaced. Reservation Changes Please contact us if you need to lengthen or shorten your reservation, and we will do what we can to accommodate. Changes are not guaranteed, and any refunds will be treated in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact info@alluradirect.com between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Bike room is provided in garage for bike storage. We are not responsible for any stolen bikes. No bike storage in the unit. Ask us re other secure bike storage options if you have a high end bike.
Check-In Time 4 PM. Early check-ins may be possible. Please contact us before arrival.
Check-Out Time 10 AM. Late check-outs may be possible; please check with us. You will be charged $50 per hour if our cleaners arrive to prepare for the next guests and you are still in our home. As they only have a short window, please use common courtesy.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Additional cleaning charges will be assessed to your credit card upon departure if the unit is excessively dirty.
Excessive Noise Our townhouse is in a very quiet area. Per house rules, unreasonable noise is not permitted at any time. Excessive noise will result in eviction and charges for strata fines & security call out costs.
Housekeeping The property will be clean upon your arrival and cleaned after departure. A mid-stay cleaning may be scheduled subject to our cleaners availability at your request and expense. Cost per clean is approximately $250.00
Internet Availability & Usage High speed Telus DSL is available with ethernet port on your laptop. Internet abuse including, but not limited to, downloading copyrighted material is completely forbidden. We are not responsible for any service interruptions or connectivity issues
Liability We are excluded from all liability for personal bodily injury and property loss in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property. We maintain full insurance on our dwelling and furnishings. This may not cover your personal valuables.

Missing Items Please let us know if something is broken or missing!. Upon checkout housekeeping will perform an inventory. Costs to replace missing items will be charged to your damage deposit.
Parking & Ticketing Free Parking in designated unit in underground lot and in visitor parking underground (past gate only) on a first come first serve basis for additional vehicles. No parking in turnarounds or cul de sac. These areas are aggressively patrolled by Whistler towing We are not responsible for any towing and recovery charges.
Property Damage Guests assume all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by themselves or their guests. Costs for additional cleaning and repairs will be charged to you. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment, you agree to pay us for all damages you incur, including fines for improper garbage disposal. We reserve the right to collect a damage deposit ahead of time.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Our property is legally zoned for either short term or long-term rental accommodation use.

Guarantees Policies

Reservation Guarantee Property Sale/Damage-We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. We do not accept any related costs . Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.

About Us

We live in Vancouver but we spend as much time as we can in this very special place that we love all year around.

We have been skiing, riding, hiking and biking at Whistler since the early 90's, and have recently bought our place at Mountainstar. We spent a lot of time looking for the perfect condo, and location and we are really pleased.  We wanted to be right on the Mountain for skiing and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature but also be close enough to the village and all that it offers.  We really like being able to park our car and forget about it until we have to leave.

We know a myriad of details about the village and the mountains both in the winter and summer seasons; please ask!
