Welcome to TRAIL'S EDGE.  

This is our "home away from home" in Sun Peaks.   You can walk or ski to everything within minutes!    

Highlights include:

  • Ski-in, ski-out access.
  • 8 minute walk to the Village!

Great stay at Trails Edge

Had a great stay at Trails Edge. Location was excellent, easy to walk to the village and only steps to the slopes especially convenient with the new Orient lift this season.

Bob and Sheryl's home was one of the best we have stayed in at Sun Peaks, really clean and well equipped with everything you could need and so quiet and relaxing after a day of skiing. The murphy bed was great for our group as everyone had their own space but no one had to sleep on a sofa bed. There isn't a hot tub but we didn't even miss this as the 2 baths meant we could still have long soak!

Great place, great people

Bob and Sheryl went above and beyond to help us out. They are great hosts. The condo is very well set up including boot/glove dryers. It is roomy for a 2 bed condo, and the additional murphy bed in the living area was easy to use and comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. It is a great location - easy 5 minute walk to the village. It is true ski in, and now about a 70 meter near flat walk to the piste under the Orient chair. We would go back, and highly recommend.

Great townhouse in Sun Peaks

We had a wonderful stay at the end of the season in Sun Peaks. The townhouse is very conveniently located and you can easily ski out to Morrisey or ski-in from Sundance chair.

The unit is well stocked and had everything that we need and is also very quiet. The door off the kitchen leads to a semi-private back yard which was great for allowing the kids to play in the snow outside safely. We highly recommend staying with Bob and Sheryl.

Our hope is to have everything that is needed for a comfortable, carefree vacation. Our condo is in a development consisting of 4 plexes. It is at the edge of the village making it easily accessable from the ski runs. It is a convenient distance from the village shopping area, restaurants, golf course, and  chair lifts.

Arrival Days Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable, except if booking can be replaced. Refunds or portions thereof will be refunded based on the number of nights rebooked & rebooked rate; refunds will be subject to a 5% cancellation fee.
Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Reservations are not held without payment. Our site takes live reservations 24hrs/day/7 days/week, therefore, we operate on a first come/first serve basis.

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses

Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the orignial amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance,then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Bikes can be stored in the garage. Under no circumstanses are bikes allowed in the living area.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Please respect the housekeepers time to clean.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am. Please respect the housekeepers time to clean.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Please do not leave "messes." Load dishes in dishwasher and start cycle before leaving. Any excessive housekeeping charges will be passed on to the guest.
Excessive Noise Parties and celebrations that involve loud behavior and intoxication will not be tolerated. You will get evicted without a refund!.
Garbage Removal There is no garbage service. A $20 hauling fee will be made for garbage left in the unit. Directions to the transfer station are posted in the unit.
Housekeeping Complimentary before arrival and after departure|. Mistakes happen! If for some reason there has been a housekeeping error and the property is not ready by 8 pm PST,on the day of your arrival, notify us or the housekeeper and we will refund you for your first night. The property will be promptly cleaned the next day if we are unable to get it cleaned the same day. In the event of a housekeeping emergency, the phone number of housekeeping is posted in the unit.
Internet Availability & Usage We provide unlimited wireless internet access.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Sun Peaks Ski Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies Complete emergency contacts provided upon final payment.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6. Will be evicted if more than 6 overnight occupants without the express consent of the owners.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.
Noise Restrictions This is a quiet neighborhood. No excessive noise is permitted after 10pm. You may be evicted or fined by security if your party and your guests disrupt other guests.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $800 CAD charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges,lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

This is a gourmet's delight. It's well furnished with excellent lighting. Happy hour will benefit from the ice maker in the freezer. Our guests are welcome to use any of the food staples found in the kitchen. It is common practice to replace anything that is used up during ones stay.

Living Area

The focal point of the living room is the stone fireplace upon which sits the entertainment center. Relax on the sofa in front of the fire or take a nap in the overstuffed leather recliner. The large deck offers a sunny outdoor extention of the lliving room.

Dining Area

An expandable dining table can accommodate up to 8 people. It is adjacent to the kitchen area making it easy to serve meals.

Special Features

We added a very comfortable pull down luxury wall bed to our living room. There will be no sore backs from sleeping on a sofa-bed.

Art We have decorated with photos and articles if interest from our skiing history.

About Us

We are Bob and Sheryl Bjerk. Our primary home is a beach cabin on Puget Sound where we retired after operating a small animal veterinary clinic in Anacortes. We love the winter! Sheryl has done many years of ski patrolling at Mt. Baker and Snoqualmie pass. Bob is a dog sledding enthusiast and worked a number of years as a trail vet for the Iditarod sled dog race in Alaska. It’s no wonder that we choose to have our vacation home where we can ski and enjoy the snow.
