Karen's place is delightful, and truly one of the best stocked places we have ever stayed. (And we have stayed at many.) I had many questions, and she was a wonderful, easy, very responsive host. Her unit is also very conveniently located to where the parking for her unit, so loading and unloading is easy.

One small note: the "den" with 2 bunk beds was too small for 2 adult sons. They literally had to put their bags in the hall. The listing does say it's small - believe it! All in all, though, we were very happy and definitely would stay here again.

This place is so much bigger than it looks in the photos. We had a group of 8 and it was located perfectly for everyone to do their respective activities. The hot tub is such a luxury especially for the price!! Also had 3 parking spaces which I wasnt expecting and was exactly what we needed.

We will all definitely be staying again for our next whistler trip... lost track counting all the bears though :D Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home!

The photos do not do this magical place justice. Six of us spent Christmas in Karen’s condo, and never felt cramped. The kitchen was well supplied such that we were able to make a full on Christmas dinner. Many thoughtful details. Immaculately clean and comfortable beds. Easy access to ski slopes. Would definitely return!

Despite there being 8 of us we never felt cramped in your condo. It was very nicely decorated, clean, and organized and I would definitely come back again. It was very easy to communicate with the owners who let us check in early and also leave our car in the garage on the last day so that we could ski when we arrivied and before we left.

Excellent location in Upper Blackcomb Village. Great 3 bedroom/2 bathroom condo at Powderhorn, which has a nice roof top hot tub. Easy first floor access to the garage and ski locker. The condo ambience was lovely - like a cabin in the woods. Owner was extremely nice to deal with and very responsive to our inquiries. Would highly recommend for a family vacation.

Best Blackcomb ski-in/out for families

This was our 3rd different condo we've stayed at in Blackcomb and it was the best. To start with the parking spot in the garage was very convenient! The location of the unit was excellent too.

The kitchen was very well appointed which made cooking meals much easier than at other places. The electric grill worked well on steaks. The fireplace was cozy. The 3 different bedrooms was nice for the kids. The large dining table was great. The hot tub was fun although a bit cold getting out of.

This is one place we'd want to come back to!

Facilities were excellent. Great location, clean, spacious, appliances, within walking distance of Villages and ski lifts. Easy to find, underground parking, elevator, storage space all contributed to a very pleasant stay. It was great accommodations for our family to meet - from Nova Scotia to Alberta.

Skiing Weekend Away with Friends

3 couples fit comfortably in this condo even though the third bedroom isn't much more than a den with bunk beds. The whole place was clean and the fire was great to come back to after a day on the mountain. The spa pool on the roof was perfect and a great place to chill out. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything worked as expected. The condo is located north of Whistler village with a 10 minute walk to the Wizard Chair and 10-15 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. Overall an awesome place to spend a long weekend skiing and catching up with friends.

We had a wonderful stay prior to Christmas at Karen and Daryl's condo. It is very spacious, and the location is very convenient. It's around a 5 minute walk to the Wizard Run on Blackcomb. Access from the garage parking spot to the condo itself is excellent. The condo is very homey, and there was plenty of room for two adults and two kids.

We have stayed at many locations at Whistler, and this is one of our favorites. We had a minor issue upon arrival that Karen and Daryl responded to quickly and thoroughly. Great owners and a great condo. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay! The condo was larger than expected - definitely big enough for 4 adults and 3 kids! It was clean and well-equipped. It's a short walk to the Village on Blackcomb and not much further to Whistler Village. Our only complaint is that the bed in the second bedroom is very squeaky and that the shower in the main bathroom squeals. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this place.

The property is well maintained and equipped with all you need. The building is quiet and there is good noise insulation. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. The two bedrooms are spacious. The third bedroom is not a bedroom but a den with two bunk beds and no window; it is maybe suited for small children, but not for adults.

Everything was great with this condo. We enjoyed our stay. Only two items that could be improved: 1. The shower in the common bathroom, is noisy when water is running. 2. The queen size bed in the second bed room is very noisy. The head board bumps the wall too much. Over all we all liked the unit, and will definitely consider staying there again on our next visit.

My brother was visiting from Winnipeg and wanted to go to Whistler. I saw Karen Thomas's condo on this site and booked it. It was a great place to stay and for a very reasonable price. The walk to the village is not that long but there Is a free shuttle right outside the front door. The condo is great and has everything you need right down to dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be going back.
