Fantastic location! Super easy walk to the lifts and a quick jaunt to the village through a lovely, well-lit trail.
Hosts Rose and Doug were very welcoming and checked in with us to ensure all was well and that we had everything we needed.

We have been to many places in Whistler /Blackcomb and this is the best we have been to. Very nice and clean place. Location is great , just few minutes walk to Blackcomb Gondola as well as Whistler village and gondolas. Very quiet environment. You get all amenities to have a good vacation.

The location is very nice -- close to the lists and to the village, yet very quiet. The kitchen is well (and thoughtfully) stocked, and Rose is very welcoming and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay there.

This 770 sq. ft. ground level townhome will accommodate up to 4 guests. The kitchen and dining areas open onto each other. A sunken living room contains a log burning fireplace and sliding glass doors which lead onto a private, sunny deck overlooking a greenbelt and Fitzsimmons Creek. The unit is decorated tastefully and is very comfortable.

The living room has been tastefully redecorated with a custom made queen size sofa-bed which has a memory foam mattress for extra comfort, 40 " T.V. plus a stereo system, coffee table, end tables, lamps, accessories and a wood burning fireplace. A great room to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine while you watch a movie or just gaze out the large windows onto Fitzsimmons Creek. Relax on the 10 x14 patio overlooking gardens and creek.
Dining Area
The dining room overlooks the living room and you can enjoy the exterior view as you dine. This dining room will easily accommodate 4 individuals around the solid oak table. Create your own mood by lighting candles or dimming the wrought iron lighting fixture.

About Us
We started skiing Whistler in the early 70's. Now that we are retired we drive up all year round. The spring and fall are especially great for walking, hiking,golfing and biking There are fewer crowds and many restaurants offer great off season specials. Summer continues to be a busy time for many outdoor activities and events. We enjoy coming to our home at The Gables 40 and try to make it casual and comfortable for ourselves as well as our guests.
