The Gables - one of Whistler's prime locations.  This quiet, private compex is tucked away between the base of Blackcomb Mt. and Fitzsimmons Creek.  It is set away from activities yet it's less than a 5 minute stroll to the village and ski lifts for both mountains.  Once you arrive at The Gables there is little need for a vehicle.

This is a great vacation rental property, close to both Blackcomb and Whistler bases and also the Town center. Walk to either within 5 minutes, close to everything but a quiet location at night. Unit has view of woods and creek. Updated and comfortable one bedroom unit with all the amenities. Owners are great about communicating with the renter. Excellent overall stay.

This condo was clean and modern, in spite of being in one of the older condo complexes at Whistler. It included a large mudroom with plenty of rack space for skis and hangers and hooks for other equipment. The kitchen is incredibly well supplied, unlike other vacation condos we've rented where the landlord whisks away even the salt and pepper from the prior renters. The location is ideal: 300 meters easy walk to Blackcomb base and 500 meters to Whistler base. As with all properties at Whistler, the price during ski season is somewhat eye-watering, but the value for money is better than most other Whistler condos. We plan to contact the owners to see if we can get this condo next season.

The location and the condo itself are great. But it was the little extras that make it five stars. I forgot to pack a razor, and that happened to one of the many extras that were available in the room. Thank you for the great stay. :)

This was our third stay at Doug & Rose's unit in The Gables. It did not disappoint. The unit was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything someone might need for cooking or baking. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to Fitzsimmons Creek. As others have said The Gables is nicely situated in a quiet forested area, but within easy walking distance to the Village.

Travelling North along Hwy. 99 turn onto Village Gate Blvd. and continue up the street until you reach the stop sign on Blackcomb. Turn right at the sign and follow the road. Once you drive over the Fitzsimmons Creek Bridge the entrance to the Gables will be on your left hand side. Proceed down the driveway and stay to the right. Reserved parking for Unit 40 will be marked and found across from building #3. Unit #40 is on the lower level towards the back of the hall.

Excessive Cleaning:

If cleaning required is more than the normal 2 hours, excess costs will be charged to the guest. Includes but is not limited to any cleaning needed by restoration services, a plumber, stains, odor, smoking in the unit, or cooking. Includes any extra cleaning costs to restore the townhouse to the same condition as it was upon check in.

Excessive Noise:

Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund!. Please be considerate of your neighbors.


Neither the Property Owner nor Rental Manager shall be held liable for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any theft, accident, injury, death, damage, delay, inconvenience or distress, whether or not arising by the negligence of the Property Owner or Manager and the Guests hereby waive any and all such liability. The Guest booking this accommodation is responsible for making all members of the party aware of these terms, failing which the said Guest will be held liable to and shall save harmless and indemnify the Property Owner and/or Manager, from any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising as a result thereof.
