Fairways Lodge is an exquisite 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom traditional log home with amazing personal touches that you'll have to see to believe! From an upright beam in the living room with a raccoon family carved in to it, to a kitchen decorated with retro kitsch while still having upscale features like a hidden wall fridge and two separate ovens, every bedroom having an ensuite bathroom, and a huge wraparound patio in the backyard with a covered hot tub, no matter where you are in this home you will feel a sense of luxury.

The main level of this home has an open concept living room, kitchen and dining area, and features a cathedral ceiling which allows for huge windows in this home so you can enjoy a day full of sunshine. If you'd prefer a bit more privacy, there are black-out blinds in most of the home. Just off of the dining area and living room is a large balcony with a wonderful view of the ski runs on Sundance Mountain. The living room has a swivel mounted flatscreen TV next to the large stone fireplace, a huge L-shaped leather couch, a leather loveseat, and a speaker system so you can really get in to movie nights!

The full kitchen has an awesome retro kitsch theme with a huge 'secret' fridge where the door has been made to camouflage in to the wall and two separate ovens. The dining area can seat 10 at the table and 4 at the bar, plus a small seating area outside on the balcony (recommended for summer use). If you're a group that loves to cook or entertain, Fairways Lodge is definitely the ideal spot for you!

Also on the main level are the master bedroom and second bedroom. The master bedroom is practically the definition of a romantic getaway! It features a king bed, romantic lighting, a large closet, and a privacy screen separating the other side of the room that hosts a large clawfoot bathtub and vanity area, and the entrance to the separate shower bathroom.

The second bedroom features two double beds, a large dresser, and access to an ensuite shower room with a large vanity area that leads in to a separate toilet room (which can also be accessed from a separate entrance off of the hallway).

If you follow along the nautical-themed hallway just off of the bedrooms you'll have access to the large patio in the backyard where you can enjoy your private use hot tub. The hot tub is under a large open-wall tent so you can enjoy the tub even if it's raining or snowing! You can also enjoy the view of your ski-in path from Mt Morrisey which is a nice grassy area in the spring and summer. The patio wraps around the side of the house where your barbeque is homed, and has another separate entrance if you want to head directly back to the living area.

The top level of this home has a nice loft and reading nook area with ample seating and a live-edge wood table, as well as access to the third and fourth bedrooms. Both of the upstairs bedrooms each have a king bed and a set of bunkbeds, as well an ensuite shower bathroom.

The bottom level of this home features the den, which is a great entertaining spot, a large open area with 5 reclining chairs and a dartboard - if the teens in your group want a bit of separation they can use this as a hangout room, but then again the adults might want to call dibs! Down the hallway from the den is a full laundry room, and there's also a large ski storage area (AKA mud room or wet room) with a door leading directly outside.

Fairways Lodge is a lovely vacation home for a multi-generational family get together, a group of friends on holiday, or really, anybody that wants a lot of space.

This home is approximately a 15 minute walk to the main village along Fairways Drive, but you are also directly across from an entrance to the valley trail that goes around the large pond between holes #3 and #8 of the golf course, up past Sun Mountain Villas, Alpine Greens, and The Peaks, which provides much more scenic views and is a safer walk if you've got little ones in your group.

For all groups of 8+ people, we require a phone call follow-up after booking to confirm your group eligibility.  If your stay is for an event, party, stagette etc - your reservation will be cancelled without refund of fees.

Prior to your arrival, you'll be required to complete an online Damage Liability Agreement in which you'll accept full responsibility for any harm that comes to the property during your stay caused by you or anyone you allow access to the property. The date, time, email address and credit card on file when the agreement is accepted are recorded in case of damage.

Location

Fairways Drive is one of the original roadways built to support the growing demand for chalet homes at Sun Peaks. Located right along the base of Mt Morrisey, most homes feature beautiful views of Morrisey and Mt Tod and those along Morrisey will also likely offer ski-in opportunities via the Fairways Ski-Back cutoff.

Fairways Drive stretches from just below the village to just before the base of Burfield, so walking to the village could be anywhere from a 3-to-20 minute walk to the main village depending on where on Fairways you are. The same is true if you're looking to walk to the Burfield chairlift. If you're closer to the Burfield end it will be a shorter walk but closer to the village you may want to catch a ride on the shuttle that the resort operates during the winter.

At the base of the village is the Village Day Lodge, and the Sundance and Sunburst Express chairlifts. To hit the Fairways Ski-Back cutoff, you'll want to take the Home Run green run, or one of the variety of black and double black diamond runs that connect to it (check the alpine trails map to plot your course).

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Upon receipt of a booking for an arrival date more than 45 days in advance, a 25% deposit will be taken. The full deposit is forfeit if cancelled 45 days outside of your arrival date. Cancellations within 45 days of your arrival will result in the forfeiture of the entire booking payment. A partial refund may still be provided if the accommodation can be rented for any portion of the time you originally booked.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by the due dates will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact info@alluradirect.com between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Any complaints that result is fines or charges will be paid by the guests.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.

Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.

There is a ground level entrance in to a mud room/ski storage area or the main entrance is up a staircase.

The ground level has the mud room/ski storage area, laundry room, and den (5 reclining chairs and dartboard, no TV).

The main level has the living room, kitchen, dining area, balcony, master bedroom and ensuite, second bedroom and ensuite (toilet room is separate from shower room), and access to the patio with the private hot tub. I would estimate it to be a 6 person hot tub.

The top level has the third bedroom and ensuite, fourth bedroom and ensuite, as well as a loft and reading nook.
