The Gables is one of the very best locations in Whistler. After parking your car on the property, there is a good chance that you will not need to use it again. Lifts for skiing, snowboarding, downhill biking and alpine hiking at both Whistler and Blackcomb are accessed within a 5 minute walk of the townhouse. Shopping and restaurants are reached by crossing the covered bridge over Fitzsimmon's Creek which forms the rear boundary of the property and results in a quiet and park-like setting.

Inside the unit, you will feel right at home in this comfortable and well equipped townhouse with cathedral ceilings and tall windows with tree views.The kitchen has been newly renovated and there are few appliances throughout the townhouse. In the living room there is a comfortable new sofa bed and a woodburning fireplace. The den, which is also on the main floor has new bunk beds (double, single) as well an an armoire for storage. Upstairs is the lofted bedroom with a new queen bed and plenty of closet space. Adjacent to this bedroom is the newly renovated bathroom. 

There is ample space for your sports equipment in the entryway and secure bike storage is available in the parking garage. A bike wash station can also be found on the property.

The property turned out to be very handy with the bus strike. A walk across the road and you are at Blackcomb base or Whistler.I enjoyed staying here. The owners are easy to deal with and #12 was spotless when I arrived. I cannot recommend #12 The Gables more highly

This was a perfect location for myself and 2 young adult sons, with an easy walk to either Blackcomb or Whistler lifts and Whistler village. The apartment was comfortable and well furnished. Whilst the kitchen was a little dated, everything was in working order and the price charged reflected this so we had no concerns. And the new queen bed is very comfortable! We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Sandy and Phil are excellent host owners and the property is to be enjoyed. Its’ location for skiing either Whistler or Blackcomb mountains is fabulous. It also has great access to Whistler village for bars, restaurants and shops.

Guests agree that this location can't be beat. Both Blackcomb base and Whistler base are a short 5 minute walk from the Gables. However, we are located in a quiet forested location separated from the main village by Fitzsimmons Creek. A walk across the covered bridge at the rear of the property leads to the shopping, restaurants and excitement of the main village.
