Beautiful place with a few need to know's

Is a very nicely renovated 1 bedroom. Is close to the slopes and just above Fairmont, though a 3 to 5 minute drive from main parking lots (15 minute walk). Was there in summer and the pool and hot tubs were packed with families and kids, but that's not the apartments fault - just a reality of summer in Whistler and this facility.

The place was clean, but not spotless. In our case there was a few things (soap) missing and the owner apologized - we didn't ask to get it sent to us, but seemed they would have. The kitchen had enough stuff to make do, but likely missing a few things if you want to do anything outside of pasta/soup/salad world of food.

There was a small A/C unit that helps a bit in the area it's facing, but not a lot outside of that. Could be very hot with all the windows in the living room area.

Parking is $17/day, as described. The owner was responsive when texted within an hour or so. Doesn't have in suite laundry, not sure if the buidling has laundry - might not be great for a long stay in that case?

Bottom line - a beautiful reno with some cool touches, but you may find similar/better value elsewhere closer to the village if you sacrifice a bit of the initial "wow" factor.

This truly is directly on the ski slope, that you could literally be skiing on the hill within a minute of closing the front door. With the Aspens being the best complex on Blackcomb mountain, multiple real estate agents have told us that is is the best ski-in ski-out condo in Whistler- come and experience your vacation here for yourself!!

The Upper Village is the perfect place to stay- it's a short 7 minute walk to the village stroll where the shopping, restaurants and nightlife is, yet far enough away to ensure you have an excellent night's sleep every night without a nightclub raging underneath you. With luxury hotels like the Fairmont Chateu and the Four Seasons next door, the Upper Village is also considered to be a premium neighbourhood. It is safe, visitor friendly, boasts breathtaking views, and has free buses running regularly right out the front of the Aspens to and around town.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage There is two self-store bike facilities and a pay per use bike valet service. The FOB issued for the pool will allow you access into the bike cage for which you will also require your own personal bike lock. Located in P1 and P2 parking areas. The bike valet is off the lobby accessible from outside with a charge of $10 per day per bike. NO BIKES ALLOWED IN ROOMS.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. You will be fined by security if your party and your guests disrupt other guests.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for removing garbage to the disposal area. Out the main entrance doors of the lobby to the right, you will see a shed with a grey door signage "Garbage Room". Please dispose of all garbage and recycling into the correct bins provided.
Hot Tub Pool FOBS and pool towels are available for loan from the front desk, signed out with a credit card imprint. Pool FOB and towels must be returned to the front desk at the end of your stay to avoid a charge of $25 per FOB and $10 per towel. The paperwork will then be destroyed as soon as you return the FOB and towels to the front desk.
Housekeeping The property will be clean and ready for your arrival. Daily housekeeping is available for an extra fee. For stays of eight days or more, there will be an optional mid-week cleaning at a cost of $95 - please contact us if you would like to schedule this. Adequate quantities of towels will be provided for the number of people booked.
Liability We are not responsible for damage by guests on strata property, nor any injuries incurred during your stay. We highly recommend that you obtain travel insurance during your stay.
Maintenance Emergencies Emergency contacts provided upon balance payment.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 5.
Noise Restrictions Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. You will be fined by security if your party and your guests disrupt other guests.
Parking & Ticketing You can purchase a parking ticket from the yellow machine located in the lobby entrance. When heading down the ramp, use the four digit code at the top of the parking ticket in the first machine on the left. This will open the gate which is just around the corner. Please display the ticket clearly on your vehicle dashboard. The parking entrance height is 2.05m (6’9). Visitor paid parking is also available. $17 per 24 hour period. Parking can also be purchase by the hour. *TIP* Luggage carts available for use, but after then park around stall 150 as this stairwell up takes your directly to the ski hill, pool and hot tubs, and to the front door of The Lookout Penthouse.
Property Damage
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage SKI VALET (Winter Only) Whistler Blackcomb provide a valet service from 8am-6pm. Please take your skis and snowboards to the tent by the breezeway doors. To avoid fines, do not take equipment to your suite. If you require access to equipment outside these hours do not store them in the valet. For after-hours storage please see the Front Desk for storage. Front desk have NO access to the ski valet room outside of their hours of operation.
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!

About Us

Kelvin and Heidi met, fell in love, tied the knot, and now live, work and play in beautiful Whistler, BC, Canada.

Heidi grew up on a rural property in the Adelaide Hills, Australia but moved to Whistler for her love of the outdoors and keen spirit for adventure. She works as a dentist who loves to snowboard, go downhill mountain biking, wakeboarding, hiking and camping, read a good novel, write letters, paint, and enjoy dinner parties with friends. But more than anything she loves to travel. Having been to over 40 countries her favourite places are Barcelona, Sweden, Cape Town, the Gold Coast, the Thai islands, Cuba, and London. But number one?- Minorca, Spain.

Kelvin grew up on a farm in Manitoba, Canada, and his passion for snowboarding lead him west to the mountains. He loves the outdoors and enjoys trail running, hiking, a good coffee or beer, competing in local fitness events, and sharing hospitality. Kelvin travels to India every year where he is on the board for a local nonprofit called S.T.E.P., helping those from the lowest cast gain education and learn skills to progress in life. He also works for a local church and absolutely loves his job, his community and what Whistler has to offer.
