Welcome to Trails Edge #15.  Whether you enjoy Winter or Summer, Sun Peaks is truly a magical place.  Sun Peaks is the second largest Ski Resort in Canada and ranked #1 for family enjoyment with short line ups and last year’s record breaking snowfall adds to its allure.

Sun Peaks is a year round destination with summer activities including world class mountain biking (longer runs than Whistler!), the highest golf course in B.C.  (the balls will fly further), open air concerts and the Alpine hiking is first class with plenty of trials to choose from.

Our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom 1800 Sqft townhome with separate games room is located in the luxurious Trails Edge Townhouse complex. Trails Edge is one of the most sought-after Sun Peaks properties because of its beautifully designed homes and location.  It is easy ski-in/ski-out access to the Morrisey connector and Morrisey express chairlift and a 5-10 minute (at the very most) walk to the village which is home to many great restaurants, shops, spas and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!

The outdoor Sun Peaks heated pool (open in summer) and skating rink are also just a short walk away.

Layout of the home:

Upper Floor:  A large master bedroom with a queen bed, trundle bed (two twin mattresses), large TV, dresser, 4 piece en-suite with heated floors and private balcony with mountain views.

The second bedroom on the upper floor has a queen bed, TV and also a large 4 piece en-suite.

Main Floor:  A bedroom with a Queen/Twin bunk bed, TV and 3rd bathroom (3 piece) directly across.   Also on the main floor is a full kitchen with BBQ just outside, dining room and a living room with sofa-bed, flat screen TV and huge vaulting windows and ceilings with gorgeous views.   Enjoy our library of movies, books, board games and puzzles. We have bean bag chairs that can be used for extra seating and fun!

We have a large deck seating 6 for outdoor eating with mountain views.

Ground level:  A large entry with a large closet.  An in-unit washer and dryer and a games room with a couch, a 55" 4k Smart TV, Gaming console and Foos-ball table.   This is a great spot for the kids to hang out and have their own space.

After a day on the slopes, a game of golf, a trip down the mountain on a mountain bike come back to soak in the ground level/ main floor hot tub just steps from the kitchen and shower.  It has seating for up to 8 adults in a private setting where you can roll around in the snow before you jump in!

If you just want to relax or need a break you can have your meals catered or order in.  Then sit down to dinner in a very well appointed kitchen with seating for 12.

All linens and towels are provided for use in the home and hot tub.   You will sleep in clean sheets under a fluffy down duvet.  

Note:  All of our sleeping areas are legal sleeping areas and have a door and window large enough to exit if necessary.  This is important to research when looking for a rental property as many do not.

We have an electronic door access system that gives a unique code to each guest stay.  No lost keys to worry about.

There are heated tile floors throughout the home.

No need to worry about putting your feet back into wet skis or hiking boots.  There is a boot and glove dryer and ample space to hang all your outdoor gear.  

Free parking for 2 vehicles (one in the garage and one outside).  There is additional visitor parking through the complex.

This is our family home and is best suited for families, mature groups and couples.

Quality and Friendly

We were 3 adults and one teenager, staying during the summer to play golf and do other outdoor activities. We were struck by the quality of the furnishings from the toaster to the towels, and were impressed by the "lived-in" feel [in a good way], to the townhouse. There was a bedroom/bathroom for each of us and a lovely hot tub to wind up the day. We also appreciated the owner's openess to communication with us, and she was able to answer any questions we sum up, we had a great holiday!

Wonderful in every way

All the furnishings in this house are perfectly set up for a large group. We all had our own space, and there were more than ample kitchen supplies to cook with. Nothing went wrong during our stay, and it was easy to get ona nd off the hill. Thanks so much for letting us stay here, it was a wonderful experience. Perfect place for my friends and I!

Fabulous family getaway

Excellent base for families. House is amazingly well equipped and owners are friendly and responsive. We were there with young kids and everything we needed was provided - baby gates, high chair, toys, play pen, games and art supplies. I highly recommend this place for your sun peaks stay.

Wonderful Stay at Trails Edge 15 at Sun Peaks

This unit was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed. We cooked many of our meals there and everything we needed was found in the well stocked kitchen (also just a 5 minute walk to the village for dinner - Vogageurs and Powder Hounds were top picks). We appreciated having a selection of DVD's to watch and games/puzzles we could use. The mudroom with boot dryer in the entry was very helpful for keeping organized and drying out our stuff after a busy day on the hill!

Jacqueline was very professional to work with. Emails were answered promptly and special requests accommodated - I felt very comfortable right from our initial email and would not hesitate to rent this unit again.

This home was just as described. Clean, spacious with plenty of room for the family.

Sun Peaks itself was a great family ski hill and I would highly recommend the hill and this unit.

Wonderful Accommodations, Everything it Says it is and More!

Trails Edge unit# 15, is a beautiful, well maintained and extremely clean home. There was plenty of room, as advertised, for our large group during the BC Family day long weekend. We loved the separate sleeping areas, (3 bedrooms plus a spacious family room on the lower level) and 3 full bathrooms. The young people in our group were excited to play XBOX one, enjoy movies on the big screen using Netflix and playing foosball. The kitchen, dining and living areas on the main floor were very roomy, and had everything you could ask for. The hot tub was awesome at the end of the day and is well maintained and very clean. All the furniture was extremely comfortable. There were many extra nice touches such as goodies, hand warmers, well stocked condiments, complimentary coffees and tea. Additionally, there were plenty of towels, for both the hot tub and bathing, we never ran out! Skiing in and out was very easy and convenient. What we most appreciated was our hostess, Jacqueline, who was very accommodating and sincere in her concern as we had very treacherous driving conditions that weekend. Half our party was not able to make it until a day later, she offered us a late check out and the option to move our dates forward a day. Thank so much Jacqueline for sharing your home with us, we hope to be back soon.

Excellent for 3 guys in their 70's

We truly appreciated having separate bedrooms and bathrooms for each of us. The owner was very responsive to our needs and the unit was extremely well equipped - including little things like handwarmers. The owner also allowed one of our members to arrive early with our groceries as the unit was not occupied the day before our scheduled arrival. We would most certainly return to this unit and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

This place has it all! Don't over pack. So well thought out for families. Loved the second living room downstairs for the kids to escape and play with xbox, board games, crafts, even bath toys for the toddlers. We'll certainly be back. Thanks Knudsens!

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Quiet hours are observed after 11pm so please be courteous if on patio or using the hot tub after these hours as noise bylaws and fines will apply.
Garbage Removal Garbage will be collected at the end of your stay and mid stay if longer than a week. Please put the garbage (white garbage bags) and recycling (Clear blue bags) into the garage for removal. If you wish to dispose of garbage and/or recycling during your stay this is done at the Sun Peaks Transfer Station located on Industrial Drive just past the Burfield Chair Lift.
Housekeeping Unit will be clean on arrival and again on departure. Stays 8 days or great will include a mid stay clean. Additional cleaning can be scheduled at the renters request and expense.

Liability We are not responsible for injury or harm to any of our guests, or their guests while they are in or on our property, or in Sun Peaks or while in transit to/from our property.

Missing Items You will be charged the replacement cost plus for any missing items of significance noted after departure, and this amount will be deducted from your damage deposit. The cleaning staff do a walk through with inventory list after departure.
