Sweet, Cosy Cabin in the Woods

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this cosy cabin in the magical woods of SilverStar. This is a very unique, rustic property in a great location. If you love snow, then stay here!

The private hot tub is very nicely set up to enjoy the peace and privacy of the surrounding woods. There is a massage chair that you can take advantage of after a long day skiing, and the large, heated mud room/entry room was very convenient for taking off ski layers and drying everything out for the next day.

The owners are very proactive and responsive. Note that there is a long driveway down to the cabin and a snow-covered pathway to and from the cabin. Our kids loved it, but this would probably be a challenge for anyone mobility-impaired.

Lovely cabin in the woods at Silverstar

This lovely cozy cabin was ideal for our family of 4. The kitchen has everything needed for your stay. The hot tub is wonderful, with lights & speakers & privacy & a setting like a fairy tale. Beds were comfortable - all 4 of us even spent a night together in the king when the power was out on our first night. Ski storage worked well for our gear. Warm porch for getting geared up and down, without traipsing snow and gear into the cabin proper.

The owners were so friendly and responsive. Overall an excellent stay for our first visit to silverstar!

Location

Silverstar resort is located just 20 minutes up from the north end of Vernon. If you are traveling north on 27th or 32nd street you will turn right onto 48th ave which will take you all the way up to the resort. Once you have reached the outer limits of the resort you will go under an overpass... shortly after this you will see and take a left at pinnacles lane. The cabin is located about .03 km up the road on the right hand side.
