Overall, we had spent a wonderful vacation in this unit. First of all, the location is very convenient, it is within minutes walk to blackcomb base. The floor plan is great and the kitchen is spacious. The two bedrooms are comfortable and clean as well. The only thing that needs improvement is the sofa bed, it is not in good condition and could use some cleaning...

Our family has stayed in Whistler several times and this was by far our favorite property. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is beyond well-stocked and there are even toys to help keep little ones entertained. (If our 2 year old remembers anything from her first trip to Whistler it will be the peg puzzle!)

The Gables complex is perfectly located right in between Blackcomb base and Whistler Village, which means you can access either on foot within 5 minutes without ever having to take a shuttle bus.

Finally, Laura was an incredibly helpful and responsive host and we couldnâ??t have had a better stay. We will definitely be back!

Laura's apartment was just what we were looking for... great location, really well equipped, toasty and warm and comfortable. We couldn't fault it!!! The only problem we had was that we had to leave!!! Laura was so helpful and friendly and was able to give us some great local tips too.

We would love to stay here again when we are next able to return to Whistler. Thank you Laura for a wonderful stay!

Guest Stay Policies

If any charges need to be charged back to the guests (for example but not limited to damage, missing items and repairs) the guests will incur the cost of these fees along with a 5% additional fee for running the guests credit card.  The 5% is exactly what is charged by the management company so there is no mark up.

Maximum Sleeping Capacity Five occupants only. Exceeding maximum will result in eviction.
Housekeeping For stays longer than 8 nights, mid-stay cleanings are provided on the 4th day. Additional cleanings can be provided at occupants cost. Be mindful of the housekeeping schedule for mid-stay cleanings and departure cleaning. If they have to reschedule/return there will be a $50 return cleaning fee.
Excessive Noise Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am per strata bylaws. Fines responsible to guests may be incurred.
Garbage Removal Please remove any garbage at the end of your stay to the bins located in the parking lot.
Parking & Ticketing Guests assumes all responsibility for any parking violation fees or towing incurred as well as replacement costs for parking pass or garage key not returned at end of stay. REPLACEMENT COST IS $100 PER MISSING ITEM (PASS OR KEY).
Bike Storage The secured underground parking includes a storage locker that is available for bike (or any other item) storage. A tarp is provided in the locker to cover your items if needed. A storage locker key is provided. Bikes may never be stored inside the unit or on the balcony. Evidence of bike storage in the unit will result in charges for any necessary additional cleaning. The replacement cost for a missing storage key is $100.
Property Damage Upon check-in guest authorizes a $500 charge on their credit card as a damage deposit. Guests will pay for all damage incurred while guest is staying in the property, even if the offender is being hosted by the guest.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests may be responsible for excessive cleaning costs incurred
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Forgotten Items by Guest In addition to postage costs there is a small fee from housekeeping to mail any items.
Maintenance Emergencies There is 24 hours maintenance emergency provided. Contact information will be provided prior to your stay as well as posted in unit.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to or while on resort property.
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for smoking in unit or balcony, noise violations listed above, exceeding sleeping capacity rules, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace or violation of any of our policies. No refunds will be available.
