Welcome to Fitzsimmons Walk one of the best deluxe Westcoast Alpine Contemporary properties in Whistler. Situated just north of Whistler Village and adjacent to the Fitzsimmons Creek this property offers guests and incredibly spacious 3 level townhome featuring 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The ground level of this townhome has a private double car garage, spacious foyer entrance with insuite laundry and large closet. A custom media room welcomes guests to enjoy movies and entertaining on the large sectional sofa with workspace area. Off the media room is the 4th bedroom with queen bed and access to a shared ensuite bathroom. Outside is an exquisite seating area with outdoor gas fireplace and private hot tub.
Up the stairs to the main living level featuring the professional kitchen with top of the line stainless steel appliances, built in espresso machine and island seating. Overlooking a sunk in living room centered on a gas fireplace. Expanded outdoor living is enjoyed year round on the covered balcony with built-in BBQ. Adjacent to the kitchen is the large spacious dining room with powder room and entry way.
The third or top level of this home features the other three bedrooms. The master bedroom suite offers a large walk-in closet, private balcony with mountain views and spacious ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom displays a double vanity, glass enclosed shower, and soaker tub with see through gas fireplace. The second bedroom on this level has a king bed which can be converted into two twin beds upon request. The third bedroom has a double bed. A shared full bathroom with shower/tub combo completes this top level with expansive vaulted ceilings.

The Fitzsimmons Walk complex is located just north of the main Whistler Village, approximately 5-7 minute walk to the north end of the village stroll and an additional 5-7 minute walk to the base of the mountain or less than a 2-minute drive. A public bus stop is located just outside the complex entrance, on the corner of Blackcomb Way and Nancy Greene Drive (approximately $2.50 per ride). Taxi service is also available throughout Whistler. For guests visiting in the winter months (December- March) we provide one parking pass per unit for an underground parking garage located in the main village center, about a 2-3 minute walk to the base of the mountain. Adjacent to the complex, across Highway 99, is Nesters Market shopping center. Guests can enjoy the conveniences of the full grocery store and pharmacy, a Mexican restaurant, a sushi place, a liquor store, coffee shop and other retail outlets.
Concierge service is provided for our guests to assist with arranging transportation to the resort, equipment rentals, ski/board lessons, pre-purchased lift and sightseeing tickets, pre-arrival grocery shopping, child care, spa services, and more, so that you will have a carefree and relaxing vacation. Guests will receive a welcome email from our concierge once a booking has been confirmed.
Guests must be 30 years of age and must provide photo ID upon check-in unless prior approval has been granted. Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Whistler Ideal Accommodations retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met, with no refund provided.
Guests are to check-in with our front desk prior to gaining property access, at which time they will be required to present a credit card and photo ID for a pre-authorization of $1500. The authorization will be charged in the event of costs such as damage, missing items, and or excessive cleaning, by the guests. Guests are responsible for any costs also exceeding the pre-authorized value. The credit card must be in the name of the main guest.

Positives- high end finishes, nice size living room, location was close to village (3 minute drive)
Negatives- too many steps, needs a regular coffee pot or a keurig, living room table glass top is too big and corners cut my child 3x, give a garage door opener ( every time we had to open the garage door we had to get out of the car), house ran out of hot water dailyView Full Review

Fitzsimmons Walk was a beautiful property. It was spacious and close to the village. The only issues we had were lack of some basic amenities which really didn't effect our stay, just a slight inconvenience. Here are some suggestions:
It would have been nice to have basic cooking supplies in kitchen such as oil, salt and pepper and more cleaning supplies. The bathroom amenities were a little sparing. Having more shampoo and conditioner and more than two towels per bathroom would be more reflective of this beautiful unit. The faciility offered high end Tv's and espresso maker, but we were unable to find complete directions for operating. We were never able to watch cable channels on the large television. Perhaps some detailed directions on operations for those too. The hot tub was not quite hot, but Burt was very helpful in getting us to remedy this problem. It would be a great idea to have those directions available next time without having to make a call.
