Glacier Lodge - Blackcomb base

Great location at the base of Blackcomb ! All new appliances and the kitchen was well equipped with granite counters, nice coffee maker, kettle etc. Only complaint is mattress in bedroom is a little tired. We actually slept on the murphy bed in the living room, it was very comfortable. Kleenex and a bar of soap in the bathroom would have been nice as well. Minor things.

Overall the condo was very nice and you can't ask for a better location. Liqour store, newly enlarged Fitzimmons Pub and a new restaurant within the building. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is right next to the upper village trail, that takes you straight into the main village via a 5 minute walk. The place itself is amazing, roomy and the kitchen was brand new. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to get the best value for a place in whistler.

By Car from Vancouver: Follow Highway #99 North through Vancouver and over the Lions Gate Bridge. Take the exit to West Vancouver (turns into Marine Drive) Follow Marine Drive to Taylor Way (1st traffic light) - turn right on to Taylor Way. Continue along Taylor Way in left lane as you will turn left to Highway #99 North Follow directions to Highway #99 North (and #1 West). At Horseshoe Bay take the exit onto Highway #99 North following signs to Squamish and Whistler. Follow Highway #99 North until you reach Whistler. Continue on Highway #99 to 6th set of traffic lights turn right on to Lorimer Road.Follow Lorimer Road through set of lights (cross road is Blackcomb Way) to a T intersection. This road is ALSO called also Blackcomb Way, turn right.Turn left at Chateau Blvd (first road on left) Glacier Lodge is first driveway on right if you want to stop in the front lobby unload area. We recommend that you proceed directly to the underground parking garage, the entrance is immediately past Chateau Blvd.
