I had another (fifth year in a row) excellent ski week at this condo. It has an excellent location, only minutes to Blackcomb gondola, a liquor store and convenience store and lots of great bars plus only 10 minute walk to Whistler village. My only complaint is that the hot tubs are small, but when it's all said and done, this is 5 star value for a 3 star price.

Ideal location with easy access to gondola and walk through to whistler village. The condo was great space as we had two kids. They both enjoyed the private bedrooms with nice beds. The sofa bed was a lot softer if you are use to firmer mattress.

We had our Xmas day meal in the condo with the ease of collecting A family meal from the fabulous Portobello across the way., which made it a very stress free evening. We also had good cooking facilities for a few other times we stayed in.

We would happily stay again on another visit

Another great stay and we would stay again. The only reason that I gave 4 stars on development is that it took several days to fix the shower in the bathroom by the pool/hot tub. The kitchen is very well appointed, coffee pot was slow perking so maybe just needs a clean, and like all rental units it is hard to find a good stick free fry pan.

Since we were there for 11 nights we could have used some extra towels (dish, and bathroom) and toilet paper, to be fair I did not call David and make a request as it was not a big deal. The only thing I would really like to see is a common area BBQ.

Great Condo for Families

Great condo at a reasonable price, fantastic set-up for kids, very close to Magic Carpet learning area, all on one level so no stairs to worry about. Nice to have the second room. Small rooms, but enough room to set up a travel crib in the larger of the two rooms. TV has cable and an there's an abundance of throw pillows that my daughter enjoyed turning into a pillow fort. Kitchen is well stocked. Spa in building is great and very reasonably priced.

Had an unfortunate problem where the front desk initially put us into the wrong room with young kids at 10:30pm, they came by and helped move us about 20 minutes after we'd been checked in. Luckily we hadn't unpacked more than we did. That was the only challenge in our stay this time. Staff at the spa commented that it seems to be reasonably common at this resort, so maybe a challenge for the front desk to address.

It worked great for our family of 3. It has one bathroom so might be challenging for 4 or more in a party. The dishwasher or maybe the soap used needs to be looked at. We made our meal the first night and found that the dishes we dirty with baked on food. I rewashed by hand the dishes we used and did so the rest of our stay. I know that sometimes dishwasher don't clean well so it might be something to look into or have the house keeper double check the dishes.

Summer stay

Overall our stay was good. The condo was clean, check in was easy. The surrounding area was great, right in Blackcomb village with grocery stores close by and a pleasant 10 minute walk to Whistler village.

One main drawback for us (during a summer vacation) was the condo was very warm and there was no air conditioning. Wouldn't be an issue in the winter but a bit of a drawback during a hot summer stay. Thankfully there was a pool which was great but there wasn't a good way to keep the condo cool at night.

Also, the coffee maker didn't work properly. Not a big deal, except on the first morning when I was looking forward to my first cup of Joe. Had to improvise for the rest of the time. Easy problem to fix.

Super location, steps from Blackcomb mountain. The unit is spacious, excellent layout and well maintained. Great family area for kids to play X-box and games. Full kitchen with all the appliances, well stocked utensils and the beds are super comfy. Owner David is a gracious host and quick with responses. Glacier Lodge is a great place to stay and this unit is our family fave.

One small issue was the internet provided by Glacier Lodge. Connection was spotty or not available. However, this is on Glacier Lodge and not to do with the unit itself.

Great location, close to Upper Blackcomb Day Lodge

Great location in Blackcomb Upper Village within walking distance of the lifts. Also very convenient to the Lost Lake Cross Country trails. Nice to have ski-concierge service in the Lodge. Bedrooms were small (one without a window) but the large open living room/dining area made up for that. Nice outdoor pool and 2 hot-tubs available on site.

Owner was extremely responsive and the maintenance crew was very efficient in taking care of some issues that needed to be fixed.

Nice spacious condo, well furnished/supplied and in a perfect location. Loved it in winter but the lack of a balcony is definitely a draw-back in summer. It's also quite warm, which could get uncomfortable on very hot days (although fans are supplied). Other than that, absolutely no complaints - we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location, walking distance to the village and the Farmer's market was just by the lodge. The owner was responsive to our email during our stay and sent extra supplies.

The one downside was one of the bedrooms did not have a window and ventilation was not very good in the condo. We had to have all the windows in the condo open so that we could get some air in.

I believe the people who stayed in the condo before us had made a huge mess, so when we got in the smell of cleaning products used was very strong.

Very happy with the location, perfect location in Blackcomb, just steps away from the lift. The ski storage facility in the lobby is a great service. The suite is beautiful, well laid out, nicely decorated, spacious with good furniture and very comfortable even if you have 6 people. The only downside is it has only 1 washroom, could use a half bath. I would highly recommend this suite, excellent value for your money.

Great Place in a Great Location!

The pictures looked too good to be true, but it turned out the apartment looked just like the pictures when we checked in. It was very comfortable for the two couples that stayed there. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. Each room was small, had a TV, an alarm clock, and storage. One room had windows the other was connected to the bathroom. The "den" had little air circulation and was hot at night. We had all the heaters off in the apartment and slept with the windows and doors open and it was still too hot to use the comforter.

The location is great with a small shop across the street to get food and only 5 min stroll to the bottom of Blackcomb. Inter Spots at the lobby had ski/snowboard valet service and rental for all staying here. Underground parking (for a fee) is comfortable and secure. Hot tubs were always accessible and you can pickup towels at the lobby.

Checkin at the location was pain-free. It really makes a difference when you can just show up to Glacier Lodge and checkin there rather than some alternate location. The bathroom sink drained slow and a bottle of drano under the counter indicated it had been like that for a while. We did run out of hot water on the second night after washing the dishes and one person taking a shower (so time your showers allowing time for the HW tank to heat up).

I really loved staying here and if I'm ever in Whistler again, this is where I would like to stay. Thank you for the great stay!!!
