Pleasantly surprised, the condo was better than anticipated everything we needed and more, situated in a picturesque and quiet location in the North Star complex. Fantastic location right across the road for the supermarket, free shuttle bus and great restaurants. Great hot tub and swimming pool which was welcomed after a days skiing,providing robes would be a nice touch as the towels provided are small and the walk to and from the pool is very cold. Beds were comfortable, bed linen of nice quality. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need for any length of stay. Washing machine and tumble dryer provided and of good quality.

We stayed over the Christmas period and was so pleased to see the owners had put up decorations which was a lovely touch, we have stayed in Whistler previously and didn't have any decorations in our accommodation and when you have children with you it makes a big difference to them and us.

My only issue was the checking in at Deer Lodge which is a 5 min walk away, if you have been dropped at the condo late at night with all your luggage and you then have to try and find the office its not ideal. The key code could be sent in an email prior to arrival so you can gain access and check in at the office was settled or next morning, just a thought.

The icing on the cake was the bottle of wine and water left for our arrival, thank you Madlene and Carsten it was a welcome gesture.

All in all loved our stay in this property, will definitely book again, we highly recommend this property you wont be disappointed.

Clean and well-stocked unit. A couple of ideas for feedback would be:

1) When describing where to pick up keys - maybe including the name "Deer Lodge" / Whistler Reception Services would help. We walked right past the correct location before realizing it was the one, as we didn't think we were part of "Deer Lodge" group.

2) There is major construction happening in one of the buildings in this complex. This does affect access to this particular suite and would have just been nice to know about. Nothing the owners can do about this obviously, but a heads up would be nice, as we had to be directed by the construction crews as to how to best access the suite. (Ie - go all the way around the walkway instead of what the map showed at the entrance.)

Otherwise, great location and thank you for sharing your suite with us!

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposits are non-refundable on cancellations made less than 90 days prioir to arrival. If you have paid in full, I will refund the balance payment if I can replace the booking. The refund is based on the re-booked rate and the number of nights it is rebooked at. All cancellation refunds are subject to a 5% cancellation fee.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.

Property Damage When guests check in with Whistler Reception Services (WRS), they will take a $500 damage deposit in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to lost revenue, noise complaints, common or private damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken missing common of private property items, smoking inside, pets inside and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupants behaviour while in the property or on common premises. After the guest leaves, the unit is inspected and if everything is found in order, the $500 is refunded on their credit card after 10 days of departure.

Northstar 27 is a two level condo with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor and the living and the dining room as well as a full second bathroom with shower on the main floor.

Sleeping Areas & Beds

The condo sleep 6-7 adults in two bedrooms on the upper floor and on a brand new double sofa bed in the living room. The master bedroom features a king sized bed that lets you enjoy the view of Whistler Mountain every morning when you wake up. The second bedrom features a brand new bunk bed with a double at the bottom and a twin bed at the top. All bedrooms have black-out blinds.
