Welcome to my vacation home in Whistler! 

Temporary Coronavirus Policy through November 2020:  Deposit and balance refunded in full if guest cannot physically travel  (up to 2 weeks prior) due to a documented flight cancellation, border closures, or other official travel or health restrictions  because of the coronavirus pandemic or if guest is sick or family memeber is sick with CoViD.

Guests have told me it has one of the the best locations in town.  It is only a 5-7 minute walk to both Whistler and Blackcomb mountain gondolas.  Walk out the front door of the lodge to stores, restaurants, amenities and services. The Audain Art Museum is across the street as is the public library and the Maury Young Arts Center and theatre.  The First Nations Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is only a short walk away. Park your car in the secure parking garage (nightly fee) and forget about it!

The Whistler Town Plaza front desk services ensure quick and easy check in and check out and the friendly staff are available to help with questions about the resort, discount tickets and assistance with any housekeeping or maintenance concerns.

My corner unit is one of the largest in Eagle Lodge and facing SW is bright and cheerful even on overcast days.  There is a roomy deck overlooking the plaza which is great for watching family entertainment under the gazebo, the people walking by and the children playing. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms one of which is ensuite.  The kitchen is fully supplied with all you need to cook or bake at home. Please scroll down to see all the amenities in the unit.

Downstairs there is a large common hot tub, exercise room, and secure ski and bike storage.

Comfortable, spacious and great location in the heart of the village bustle and only one floor up. Really lovely property and easy check in. Bike storage easy to access and close to trails for cycling. Just perfect for what we wanted. Plus points are location, comfort and furnishing. However, I found the kitchen is under-equipped in terms of serving and baking dishes, and there was water dripping from somewhere outside noisily onto the metal roof outside the master bedroom in the night. The wifi was very hit or miss, and kept dropping out. We stayed only three nights so not deal breakers and didn't raise these with reception; a longer stay and these would have been annoying.

The condo was very clean upon arrival. Very cozy and comfortable. The location was close to everything, however a couple of nights were noisy due to people out late, but overall, it was a great place to stay and enjoy our Whistler vacation. Thank you!

I am very proud of my home and have equipped it well so that I and my guests may enjoy as many of the comforts of home as possible. I have many things that other units may not have.  For example, baby equipment, lots of kitchen equipment, unique art work on the walls and more.  I am also trying very hard to make my home 'greener'.

My home is located in Whistler Village North facing SW over Whistler Town Plaza. On the map it is located between the lower corner of Main Street and Blackcomb Way. It is one building away from the pedestrian bridge over Village Gate Blvd which is the demarcation between the Main Village and Village North. The shuttles run down Blackcomb Way and Village Gate Blvd. To use the valley map, click on the map image and then click on the area you want to zoom in to!  You can keep doing this to move all over the valley map. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs See 'Property Damage'.
Excessive Noise See 'Terms of Eviction.
Garbage Removal Guests are required to remove their garbage during stay and on departure. Directions to garbage bins in entry information. You will be charged for extra cleaning costs related to the removal of excess garbage.
Housekeeping Provided on arrival & departure. Interim cleans available at GUEST'S EXPENSE on request. $100 + $30 for linens. Stays of 30 nights or longer one FREE mid stay clean.

Property Damage Stays of 29 days or less: Front Desk takes credit card information and renews this every 10 days with guest as security for up to $500 charge for damage or loss. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges including those for removal of excess garbage, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupants' behavior while in the property or on common premises. Stays over 29 days: Front desk will charge your credit card $500. This will be refunded to your card after housekeeping for the unit has confirmed there is no damage or loss on departure.

Guarantees Policies

Reservation Guarantee We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move we will contribute up to $100CAD/night towards rate equalization.
Snow Guarantee If over 65% of the lifts are closed all day due to rain or inadequate/unsafe snow and weather conditions we will give you a 50% refund/night for each day lifts remain closed.
Weather Guarantee We cannot guarantee weather conditions, which are out of our control. Sorry, no refunds.

Property Details

Our condo is decorated in warm, welcoming colors. As it has many windows and encompasses a three-sided corner of the building it is always bright and cheerful even on cloudy days. The living room and adjacent dining area are spacious and comfortable areas for entertaining friends, watching a movie on the DVD, listening to your favorite CD, playing some of the games provided or just reading one of the novels in our 'library' and resting after a a day of activity. In the summer there is nothing better than sitting out on our deck with a glass of wine or beer watching the world going by and chidren playing on the boulders in the plaza below.

Spacious, comfortable and with sliding glass doors in center opening onto deck overlooking Plaza. Long walls are the outside walls filled with windows and light. Well insulated. Enjoy watching movies, TV, or listening to a good CD in front of the river-rock fireplace. Look in the hutch for a vacation novel, family games and information about the area. Enjoy the extra comfortable deluxe sofa and armchairs.

Special Features

My condo is in the heart of the pedestrian area of Village North overlooking Whistler Town Plaza. Guests have told me I have the prime location in the Village!  Walk downstairs to dinner - there are 3  restaurants in the Plaza and many others close by. On your way back visit Roger's Chocolates beside the entrance to Eagle Lodge and choose some of their delectable chocolates. Or instead, stroll down the length of Eagle Lodge, past the Millenium Place (great live entertainment in a lovely theatre) to the Olympic Plaza. Exit the back of the building and cross Blackcomb Way to reach the beautful new Audain Art Museum featuring BC art and also traveling exhibits.  Just past the museum is the Valley trail to Lost Lake, the award winning First Nations Cultural Centre and the Upper Village.  Alternatively, you can turn left from the entrance to the lodge and continue up the Village Stroll towards the gondolas passing restaurants, coffee houses, shops and entertainment. Most guests park their car and never use it (parking in Whistler can be difficult if you do not have a reserved space)

I and my great housekeeper are workiing together for your and the environment's protection by using environmentally friendly products.  Eagle Lodge encourages recycling.

About Us

My name is Vivien and I welcome you to Whistler. My family started skiing at Whistler when my children were small. We discovered it was a wonderful ski resort for family with miles of terrain to suit everybody. The children are now adults  and continue to love skiing. I have had many wonderful guests every year from all around the world and love introducing them to Whistler and helping them have a fabulous vacation.
