Well kept condo in a great location

This is a well-maintained unit in the Gables with plenty of room for our smallish group of 4. Unit was well stocked with the basics including soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, paper products, tea/coffee, and some basic spices. The open plan with loft and large windows gave the unit an airy vibe -- our one non-skier who spent a lot of time indoors found it a very comfortable place to hole up and get some reading and computer work done.

Location really can't be beat as a skiing base, IMHO -- out the back, then <5 mins to Blackcomb base (including 2 flights of stairs) and 5-10 mins to Whistler base (including crossing one street with a stoplight). Also, the location is generally quiet, since it's in a patch of woods. Parking for our 1 SUV was not an issue when we stayed in early March 2018.

We didn't experience any problems during the stay, but we did appreciate that the owner reached out on the first day to make sure everything was OK.

EXCELLENT!

My challenge was to find a great property for 5 very close to the lifts and reasonably priced - TICK! Communication from Sharon was very good prior to the trip.

Location is a 3 minute walk to the lifts, a few steps to navigate but not a big deal. Easy to go 'home' for lunch and then back out on the slopes. Also very easy 5 minute walk to the village.

Spotlessly clean. Well provisioned, in fact there was everything we needed. Felt like home as opposed to a rental. Very comfortable. Heated flooring was excellent. Loved the fireplace. Heated mud room was superb. Keyless entry made life easy. Very quiet day and night.

All up, we had a great stay, the abundance of snow made it outstanding. Would I recommend? Absolutely!!

Super convenient and well appointed

This was our first time visiting Whistler. The location of this condo could not have been better for easy access, (5 min walk) to either the base of Blackcomb or Whistler mountain. Also, the back pathway across Fitzsimmons Creek made access to lower Whistler village just as quick.

The condo itself was in great condition and easily accommodated all 6 of us. The kitchen was well appointed and easy to work in which we utilized for breakfasts and evening dinners. Sharon and Doug were very responsive regarding any question I had.

Overall, I could not have found a better, more convenient and reasonably priced accommodation for the whole family. The only item lacking in the complex was a hot tub for soaking tired bodies after a great day on two great mountains.

Cancellations Made by Guests 30 Days Advance Notice. Deposit and final payment are non-refundable once paid unless we can replace the reservation. If paid by credit card reimbursement will be less 4%.

Delayed Arrivals Non refundable. We are not responsible for delayed arrivals for any reason beyond our control; unused nights are non-refundable.

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Strata Bylaws Apply. Guests are responsible. Quiet hours are 11:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Housekeeping Complimentary. 7 day stay-1 cleaning on the 4th day. 14 day stay-2 cleanings during stay.
Internet Availability & Usage Wireless High Speed internet. You must bring your own laptop. This computer account must not be utilized for any illegal acts which can result in criminal prosecution.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler. None

Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. Sunken living room, with high vaulted ceilings and a river rock wood burning fireplace. The living room has a sofa and love seat with a TV/VCR and CD player. There is also a private deck off the living room with patio furniture.

Dining Area

Seperate from the living room. Seats 8-10 comfortably. There are two extra leaves for the table for those family dinners. We have table linen for 10.

About Us

Doug and I live in Burnaby, which is a suburb of Vancouver.  We are all avid skiers and have had lots of family fun over the years. We have been skiing in Whistler since the early 70's and have seen many changes over the years. We also spend a lot of time at our home away from home in the summer bike riding, swimming, rollerblading and golfing. I hope you enjoy our condo as much as we have over the years.
