We were a group of 7 adults of 3 generations (3 couples & 1 single) on a two week ski holiday. The location of this property for our group was absolutely fantastic. The 5 skiers amongst us had the choice of a 5 minute walk to Whistler village or a 2 minute walk to Blackcomb; it couldn't have been simpler. Being in between the two locations also allowed the 2 non-skiers to wander both bases with ease.

The property was very warming and well stocked with the everyday basic essentials. The washing machine and tumble dryer in the property was wonderful as it meant we could do our washing whilst away rather than carry two weeks worth of clothes with us.

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom facilities worked well. Keyless entry made life much simpler especially with multiple occupants. The daily fire logs were also a very nice touch.

Similar to a previous guest, we found it difficult with the noise in the property travelling at night. We had the 3 couples in the 3 bedrooms and our 27 year old son sleeping in the lounge on the sofa bed. Unfortunately every noise and movement rose up to the two top floor bedrooms, which disturbed sleep both at night and in the morning when people were moving around. I would certainly recommend for 6 people, but the sofa bed in the lounge needs to be considered. That said it was a great find and Sharon was very helpful and obliging.

Great location, convenient to both Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas. Spacious, clean enjoyed the barbie on the balcony in the snow, and the fire. Small criticism is the open plan of the upstairs bedrooms. connecting directly with the void of the lounge. (sound travels). Would stay again.

As you head north on the Sea to Sky Highway (#99), continue past Creekside Village and look for signs for Whistler Village. TURN RIGHT at Village Gate Boulevard. Continue on Village Gate Blvd until you come to a T intersection - this is Blackcomb Way. TURN RIGHT on Blackcomb Way and the first left is the Gables complex.
