Canada ski 2020

We were a group of 7 adults of 3 generations (3 couples & 1 single) on a two week ski holiday. The location of this property for our group was absolutely fantastic. The 5 skiers amongst us had the choice of a 5 minute walk to Whistler village or a 2 minute walk to Blackcomb; it couldn't have been simpler. Being in between the two locations also allowed the 2 non-skiers to wander both bases with ease.

The property was very warming and well stocked with the everyday basic essentials. The washing machine and tumble dryer in the property was wonderful as it meant we could do our washing whilst away rather than carry two weeks worth of clothes with us.

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom facilities worked well. Keyless entry made life much simpler especially with multiple occupants. The daily fire logs were also a very nice touch.

Similar to a previous guest, we found it difficult with the noise in the property travelling at night. We had the 3 couples in the 3 bedrooms and our 27 year old son sleeping in the lounge on the sofa bed. Unfortunately every noise and movement rose up to the two top floor bedrooms, which disturbed sleep both at night and in the morning when people were moving around. I would certainly recommend for 6 people, but the sofa bed in the lounge needs to be considered. That said it was a great find and Sharon was very helpful and obliging.

Great location, convenient to both Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas. Spacious, clean enjoyed the barbie on the balcony in the snow, and the fire. Small criticism is the open plan of the upstairs bedrooms. connecting directly with the void of the lounge. (sound travels). Would stay again.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Travelers who cancel at least 60 day before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they have paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in , they'll get back 50%. Otherwise they won't receive a refund.

Cancellations Made by Guests 60 Days Advance Notice for a 100% refund. 30-60 days before check-in they'll get back 50%. Otherwise there won't be a refund unless re-rented. If paid by credit card reimbursement will be less 4%.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Not accepted. Reservations are confirmed with payment.
Delayed Arrivals Non refundable. We are not responsible for delayed arrivals for any reason beyond our control; unused nights are non-refundable.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Upon receipt of payment in full. Later for last minute reservations.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Property Sale All bookings will be preserved in the event of a property sale. If the booking is not preserved by the new Owners, the new owners will be contractually bound to move your booking at their expense.
Reservation Changes Change of Dates. Same as cancellation policy.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be refunded. To claim this refund review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. All refunds will have a 5% processing fee applied to cover the cost of the refund transactions. Please contact info@alluradirect.com between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Noise Strata Bylaws Apply. Guests are responsible. Quiet hours are 11:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Garbage Removal Guests to remove all garbage.
Housekeeping
Internet Availability & Usage Wireless High Speed internet. You must bring your own laptop. This computer account must not be utilized for any illegal acts which can result in criminal prosecution.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler. None

Maximum Sleeping Capacity 9 people.

Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or policy involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

My Web Site Guarantee I guarantee that I will honour all rates posted on my web site at the time that your reservation request is submitted. If any amenity changes after you have confirmed your booking with payment, I will notify you in advance and give you an opportunity to cancel with full refund.
Reservation Guarantee Property Sale/Damage - we will relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation rental products.

Sunken living room, with high vaulted ceilings and a river rock wood burning fireplace. The living room has a sofa and love seat with a TV/VCR and CD player. There is also a private deck off the living room with patio furniture.

Dining Area

Seperate from the living room. Seats 8-10 comfortably. There are two extra leaves for the table for those family dinners. We have table linen for 10.

About Us

Doug and I live in Burnaby, which is a suburb of Vancouver.  We are all avid skiers and have had lots of family fun over the years. We have been skiing in Whistler since the early 70's and have seen many changes over the years. We also spend a lot of time at our home away from home in the summer bike riding, swimming, rollerblading and golfing. I hope you enjoy our condo as much as we have over the years.
