This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is located in Glacier Lodge, a true ski-in/ski-out property at the base of Blackcomb Mountain with an outdoor pool and hot tubs. Situated on the top floor this condo over looks the upper village stroll boasting coffee shops, restaurants and retail below. 

The unit is a full 2 bedroom (lofted 2nd bedroom) open to a third bedroom with full ensuite bathroom. Guests enter into a spacious entrance way with coat closet and the open concept kitchen, dining and living room with gas fireplace and private balcony overlooking the Upper Village stroll.

Off the main living space is the "master bedroom" with king bed and TV. Down the foyer from the entrance is the main floor shared bathroom with combo shower and tub. Continue down the foyer to the attached full 3rd bedroom with tw queen beds, large closet, TV and full ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo.

The second bedroom is located up the stairs and is set up as an open concept loft, overlooking the living and dining room. There are two twin beds which can be converted into a king bed upon advance request.

LOCATION
SKI In SKI Out: Located in the upper village approximately 10 minute walk to the main village centre. Steps to the base of Blackcomb Mountain and the new Blackcomb Gondola. Pay parking is in affect at Glacier Lodge at a rate of $20/ night per vehicle. This building has coin laundry (no in-suite laundry), common area secured bike and ski storage, common hot tub and outdoor pool and small fitness room.

CONCIERGE SERVICE
Concierge service is provided for our guests to assist with arranging transportation to the resort, equipment rentals, ski/board lessons, pre-purchased lift and sightseeing tickets, pre-arrival grocery shopping, child care, spa services, and more, so that you will have a carefree and relaxing vacation. Guests will receive a welcome email from our concierge once a booking has been confirmed.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT
Guests must be 26 years of age and must provide photo ID upon check-in unless prior approval has been granted. Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Whistler Ideal Accommodations retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met, with no refund provided.

Guests are to check-in with our front desk prior to gaining property access, at which time they will be required to present a credit card and photo ID for a pre-authorization of $1000. Our group of 6 adults were very comfortable in this property. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances have been upgraded since the photos were taken. We fed 10 of us 2 nights and the kitchen and table & chairs managed our group well. Fantastic location with a 3-4 minute walk to the Blackcomb Gondola.

Front desk staff were great regarding a question and both they and Rob responded/followed up really quickly. The beds were really comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were fully equipped. Living room area is great too.

Glacier Lodge is showing its age and looking a bit tired. 311 could do with a cosmetic upgrade (paint, flooring, lighting) but absolutely no complaints otherwise as everything we needed was there. Every possible amenity and shop is within close walking distance and Whistler is just amazing at Christmas.

I've stayed in Whistler many, many times but this was the first time in a three bedroom unit. It's large, clean, and very conveniently located in the upper village which means at the base of Blackcomb.

You can walk to the main Whistler village in 10 minutes or take one of the free shuttle bus options if you are carrying skis. You can walk to the new gondola at the base of Blackcomb in 2 minutes and there are enough cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity to meet most needs. Of course for a big night out you need to go down to the main Whistler village.

I would stay here again without hesitation.

This is second year we have rented from Rob , different location as we required 3 bedroom. Rob great to deal , with location is awesome , Fitz pub downstairs , portabello across the strolll literally used our suv twice In 2 weeks , place is as shown and worked great for our needs . Our toaster went TU the first coupe days and rob had new one at front desk within hours . For ski season this place would be awesome as lifts literally 100 meters away

Location cannot be beat

This location is about as good as it gets. Literally a min walk to Blackcomb Base and Wizard. Plus, they are adding a 10-person gondola for 2018! Apartment comfortably accommodated two families of four: the first family stayed in the two-queen side, and the other family used the king bedroom, plus loft (older kids).

The kitchen could use some updating, as there were a few dark areas, and the sink light flickered on/off randomly. The light in the refrigerator was just hanging by its wires. Also, it would be helpful if the sink had a disposer. However, the pots/pans/utensils were adequate. My other complaint had nothing to do with the apartment or facility, but the fact that someone was breaking the clearly posted rules, and was smoking down the hall. Very unpleasant for those of us who don't smoke and have kids.

But we had a wonderful time, and some very cozy evenings together, plus great skiing!

Nice big space if you're staying with a group of friends or have a big family. Location was perfect. Everything was well maintained and nice except for the kitchen that was extremely outdated and small for the size of the room. It was also a lot more expensive than what I've had to pay in the past when staying in whistler/ glacier lodge... but that's whistler for you, so what can you do.

We stayed at Rob's place at the Glacier Lodge for the WSSF over Easter weekend. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us, and it was easy to check in on 2 different days at 2 different times. The location is great - just a 60sec walk to the lifts and <10min walk or 60sec free bus to the main village.

Great Family Getaway

Great value for the place.
Lots of room for our family.
Close to restaurants and the village.
Just a quick walk away.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had lots of dishes and cups for a large group. The kitchen is a bit dated and I expect it will probably be updated down the road.
The two televisions were old and should be updated also. We were not there to watch TV anyways.
The Sunday Market is right outside the deck.
Great place to stay in the Fall for the end of Summer. Enjoyed downhill mountain biking with plenty of shops to assist.
Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a summer vacation. This was the first time staying by the Blackcomb base, and it was very enjoyable. It was close, clean and fairly quiet (compared to Whistler base) The condo itself is big, laid out well, and had all sorts of amenities. We loved the pool and hot tub. (although who's idea was it to use slippery ceramic time around a pool?) We had easy access to the garage and bike room.

The Blackcomb gondolas were a short walk away and there was a farmer's market on Sunday right under the living room windows. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the people shopping at the farmer's market and the kid's groups going to and from adventure camps. The hotel/condo itself is clean, nice and safe. There was multiple layers of security to protect bikes and/or skis. We'd definitely stay here again.

We couldn't be more happy with our experience staying at the Glacier Lodge. Our room was great considering we had 9 firemen staying there it met our needs perfectly. At no time did we ever feel like we needed more room or did I ever hear anyone say they would've liked something to be different. The concierge at the front desk was extremely helpful and always willing to help, and never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. The hot tub and heated pool were well mainainted and there was never a problem with over crowding even when all 9 of us would come down. We would certainly stay here again!!!

We had a lovely holiday In your apartment, the only downside was the quality of the television, think maybe a flat screen would be better, I did think I needed a degree when switching it on, this didn't spoil our vacation at all. The situation of the apartment was ideal for the slopes, restaurants and shops. Being able to leave skis downstairs was ideal. Would certainly try to book this apartment again when we decide on next years dates. The laundry facilities were ideal and inexpensive. I would like to thank you very much for allowing us to rent your apartment.

Great place to stay, although the unit needs to be updated. Both of the TVs are old school picture tubes and need to be replaced with flat screens and Hi Def. I did notice a NuHeat control cover was missing. Kitchen somewhat outdated(counter, cabinets, electric stove),but functional. With all of the new places to stay at Whistler/Blackcomb I would probably look for a newer updated condo next time in the same building.

Location is convenient and in perfect walking distance to the village. The unit is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Owner was very responsive during our stay; we also would have appreciated a response to our telephone enquiries p r i o r to our arrival. The unit is extremely hot in the summer season. There is no air flow and therefore no possibility for the rooms to cool down during the night. We would strongly suggest an air conditioning unit to be installed if the condo is being rented out in July and August.
