Concierge service is provided for our guests to assist with arranging transportation to the resort, equipment rentals, ski/board lessons, pre-purchased lift and sightseeing tickets,  pre-arrival grocery shopping, child care, spa services, and more, so that you will have a carefree and relaxing vacation. Guests will receive a welcome email from our concierge once a booking has been confirmed.

Guests must be 26 years of age and must provide photo ID upon check-in unless prior approval has been granted. Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Whistler Ideal Accommodations retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met, with no refund provided.

Guests are to check-in with our front desk prior to gaining property access, at which time they will be required to present a credit card and photo ID for a pre-authorization of $500. The authorization will be charged in the event of costs such as damage, missing items, and or excessive cleaning, by the guests. Guests are responsible for any costs also exceeding the pre-authorized value. The credit card must be in the name of the main guest.

Another Successful Whistler Stay

We have been coming to the Glacier Lodge every year for the past 11 years, staying in all kinds of different rooms and this one was yet another success.

Check in/ check out was simple enough. Location for us was absolutely perfect. Pool and amenities were decent. The room itself was perfect for the 8 of us, not once did it feel too small or crammed, and having a balcony was a big bonus too! Kitchen had some very nice updated appliances for a big group like ours, and the living area was very cozy.

However I found the queen size beds in the one bedroom much too firm so I didnâ??t have very good sleeps, and we believe one of them had bedbugs... another couple we went up with woke up every morning with new bug bites weâ??ve never seen before... could be something else but we will be contacting the owners regarding this, just to be safe.

Great location for skiing! Only 4 walking minutes to the Blackcomb base. And easy access.

The condo itself might be a bit tight and cosy, but it is well appointed, clean, and very much like the appealing pictures in the posting. Easy 8-10 minutes stroll to the Whistler base (through a lovely path) for shopping or dining.

We were 6 people (4 adults 2 kids) and we had most of our dinners and lunches at the condo since it is so easy to reach. Didnâ??t need a car for the whole week! If youâ??re looking for bars and restaurants go to the Whistler base, if youâ??re looking for a quieter family friendly, go the Blackcomb base. Would love to go back.

Love love loved this place. It was a perfect size for one our group (1 couple and 2 other adults), although you could easily sleep more people. It had a very clean feeling and was great being able to use the outdoor pool and hot tub.

We came in a slow season to Whistler so the Upper Village restaurants did close quite early but we were happy to make the short trek to the main village for late diners, etc. Thanks!

A great fully operational apartment that was very well presented. In the upper village in Glacier Lodge which is very well located to the base of Blackcomb. The apartment is well laid out with 2 seperate bedrooms and a seperate lounge/dining/kitchen area.

Basic, Spacious and Good Location

Glacier Lodge is a great location for skiing. A close walk to the Wizard chair. Glacier Lodge itself is just fine - friendly staff, nice enough amenities, etc. Not fancy, but perfectly adequate and met all our needs. Unit 2** was very clean and spacious for our family of four, including two teens. Very basic/bare bones furnishings, not a lot of character (if that is something that matters to you).

Unfortunately, I think we were the first ones to stay there after a fresh coat of paint was applied to entire unit. It was a bit fumey and some painters tape was left on doorknobs (which was not a huge deal), but more importantly none of the hooks, towel racks, mirrors, art, etc, had been put back up on the walls, so there was nowhere to hang wet bath towels, ski gear, etc. which was not at all convenient. Thank goodness for dining room chairs and doors to hang things on! Also, surprisingly, there were NO dish towels in the kitchen (we used a bath hand towel), also no dish brush or sponge (again, good thing we had a bath washcloth), and there was no hairdryer (thankfully the front desk had an extra I could borrow). The kitchen had very basic supplies otherwise, but it was sufficient for the little we ate in. We could not get the gas fireplace to work.

Overall, it was fine, but I might not stay there again for above reasons.

We've stayed at Glacier Lodge in the summer and winter and have loved it both times. For the summer it is right near the Sunday Farmer's Market and the Family Zone with many kids activities. Also a close walk to the village or to Lost Lake. Kids are already asking about booking again this summer.

August Vacation

We had a lovely stay at Glacier Lodge. The suite itself had more than enough room for 3 of us, which we very much appreciated! Kitchen was fantastic, and had everything we required. It was our first time staying on Blackcomb side and we very much enjoyed the less crowded stroll home from Whistler!

I will say the noise coming from the pub below was a bit much, as they had live music every night. As well the morning noise from Portobello moving their chairs & tables around on the patio was also a nuisance when trying to sleep a little later.

All in all we had a great time, and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely trip. Accommodation is as described. Attention to detail from cleaners could be better as there was a fair bit of dust and the fan was filthy but this is nit-picking in what is otherwise a great place to stay. Would visit this apartment again.

Glacier Lodge is a great place to stay (we have used it many times over the last 20 years) for those who know the mountain and the village; first timers to Whistler may feel better served in Whistler Village proper. With all the planned change to the Upper Village over coming years I hope it survives and remains a great and convenient location. If you haven't visited Legs Diamond restaurant in Glacier Lodge, you must. Best restaurant in town.

Overall, a very satisfying stay and a great value. The property was consistent with the description and photographs, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The upper village is quieter than Whistler Village, which I appreciated since we have small children. Note that if you have kids in lessons/camp at Whistler Kids at the base of Whistler mountain, it is about a 10 minute walk to get there (it is a 2 minute walk to Whistler Kids at the base of Blackcomb). The property is also very convenient with respect to location.

The location of Glacier Lodge is amazing. This unit we rented was great and very comfortable for our family. The only downside was not having service everyday. So you need to take out garbage to basement compacter each day and wash own sheets and towels. Other than that the unit was perfect for the family.

Great Value - Will be back

Location is great. Staff is very courteous and helpful. All e-mail inquiries were responded to promptly. The only issue was excessive noise (one early morning) coming from the walkway at 4am !! Not sure if someone was moving garbage dumpsters or large metal ski racks, extremely noisy and absolutely inappropriate. I will stay here again !

Really is like a home away from home. Close to pretty much anything you need, while still being quiet enough to chill. It's only a short stroll to Whistler village if you want more hustle and bustle. Great restaurants nearby, Try Portobello (30 sec walk!) for some very reasonably priced food an coffee. I'll be back!

Large apartment. close to the slopes. The Jacuzzi bath was nice extra luxury.

There was an issue with one double bed not being split to a twin before check-in. This was resolved by reception soon after telling them.

The location was amazing. Not in the main village but ski out from black comb base and right beside the fairmont. Lots of space and 2 bathrooms. not fancy, bring your own toiletries and the drain in the shower was clogged. But it was otherwise clean and a great layout for spending time together in the condo.
