Welcome! Big White has an extended season this year with the final day extended to April 22 following Easter Sunday!  This means more great opportunities to enjoy riding the slopes this year. Due to a cancellation, January 2019 has just become available and we are holding the long stay rental rates from the prior season for the month. This means excellent value for a stay of 10 days or more. There are also plenty of dates available into February and March. Book now to get the dates you want at the best rate available.

Also note that Provincial legislation has changed by eliminating the Provincial Sales Tax (PST) exemptions. This comes into effect October 1 so there will be increased taxes payable for any reservation not fully paid by that date. AlluraDirect will be implementing and collecting the PST as part of the administation of this booking website. The new PST rates may not yet be fully incorporated into your booking cost. The good news is that you can avoid the PST if the booking is paid in full prior to October 1, 2018.

We purchased our own ski condo in 2012 after renting a variety of places all over the mountain through AlluraDirect. Our main criteria for choosing a condo was location and layout. We love that we can ski back to Timber Ridge from virtually every chairlift on the mountain. That means less time planning how to get back to the condo and more quality time skiing! And the ski out is also great! Thirty feet from the front door (no stairs to climb in ski boots) and you are on the Mogul Track with a nice run down to the Ghost, Ridge or Plaza chairs! Keyless access means that there is no need to have scheduled meeting times and places. The kids can pop back to the condo for a quick break whenever the need arises and be back on the slopes within minutes.

The condo has two bedrooms and a den with an extra hide-a-bed in the living room. It will sleep 8 comfortably with 5 beds. Great for teenagers that don't want to share a bed! The master bedroom has a queen bed (new high end mattress as of Sept/16) and private ensuite. There is also a second full bathroom and laundry facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped and the table sits 8. A gas fireplace is the focal point of the living room. The deck has a large hot tub and gas barbeque. Optic TV with PVR is now operational with two new LCD flat screens.There are two BluRay players that are NetFlix accessible via the high speed wireless internet access provided. Front load Maytag washer and dryer are the latest additions to our home. There is a tandem garage (12 ft x 42 ft) located directly under the condo so there is parking for two larger vehicles.

We have enjoyed creating wonderful memories in our new home and would love to share it with you. Thanks and happy skiing!!!

The location was perfect for a our quick trip to Big White. The condo was clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with many spices and condiments. Dave was responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We would stay here again.

Barb and Dave's condo is a great location. Kitchen is full of utensils, pots, everything you need.

It is high up on the hill so a bit of a walk up from the village but no more than 15 mins and as we are runners it was a nice walk after being out for dinner to burn off the beautiful food we'd eaten! We took back packs down and carried our food up the ski run, a little quicker than the road or sometimes we skied down and purchased, caught the lift up and skied down the mountain with the food. Was a bit challenging sitting on the lift and negotiating the run with a heavy pack but do-able.

The condo is right next to night skiing area, in between about 4 chair lifts and ski-in and ski-out to Ridge Rocket Chair, Plaza or Snow Ghost Chair lifts. A short walk 50m to intersection to ski down to 2 more lifts to the left.

Supermarket is a little expensive in Big White so, a tip, if you are able to drive up or catch a taxi, try and do a stop on the way and get as much staple food as possible. You can order it from IGA Kelowna when you are up the mountain but bear in mind it is $40 for delivery.

Location

Timber Ridge is located at the top of Big White Village with excellent ski in/out access.  The location on the map is a little misleading, Timber Ridge is actually located directly above Tree Tops at the end of Porcupine Road.

You can easily get to the Ridge Rocket and Ghost chairs to get up the mountain and onto the slopes, or onto the Plaza Chair to get to the Village Center. With a little more work, you can also get to the Bullet, Black Forest  and Telus Park chairlifts or ski directly to the Village Center. When you return, it is very easy - no rushing to be on the right lift at the end of the day because you can ski back to the condo from the top of virtually every chairlift.  

If you want to head down to the village for some shopping, dining or just a casual walk, the Village Center is about 10 minutes away. There is a free shuttle bus service that runs ever half hour with a stop directly in front of Timber Ridge parking lot entrance.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise This is a family oriented, quiet development. Normal conversation is permitted, screaming and swearing are not acceptable. If you want to have a party, please stay somewhere else. Excessive noise will result in immediate eviction and loss of all rental and deposit payments.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Liability The Guest doing the booking is responsible and liable for all damages and for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property, or on resort lands.
Maintenance Emergencies Emergency contacts provided upon balance payment.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 8 people
Property Damage Tenant is responsible for leaving unit in the same condition as upon arrival. Any damage will be payable by the tenant and charged to your credit card. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.
