2019/20 Season is fast approaching and our calendar is already 50% booked. December 23 to March 22 are fully booked with the exception of the week of February 9th to 15th. The early and late season dates are value priced so you can still get some fabulous skiing/boarding in at a very good price. We have also updated a few of the pictures to show some of the recent upgrades and give a better perspective of the layout based on comments from guests.
We purchased our own ski condo in 2012 after renting a variety of places all over the mountain through AlluraDirect. Our main criteria for choosing a condo was location and layout. We love that we can ski back to Timber Ridge from virtually every chairlift on the mountain. That means less time planning how to get back to the condo and more quality time skiing! And the ski out is also great! Thirty feet from the front door (no stairs to climb in ski boots) and you are on the Mogul Track with a nice run down to the Ghost, Ridge or Plaza chairs! Keyless access means that there is no need to have scheduled meeting times and places. The kids can pop back to the condo for a quick break whenever the need arises and be back on the slopes within minutes.
The condo has two bedrooms and a den with an extra hide-a-bed in the living room. It will sleep 6 comfortably with 5 beds (queens and doubles) with room for 8 if necessary. Great for teenagers that don't want to share a bed! The master bedroom has a queen bed with an upgraded mattress and private ensuite. There is also a second full bathroom and laundry facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped and the table sits 8. A gas fireplace is the focal point of the living room. The deck has a new hot tub (Dec 2018) and gas barbeque. We currently have Optic TV with PVR and two 32" LCD flat screens.There are two BluRay players that are NetFlix accessible via the high speed wireless internet access. A front load Maytag washer and dryer are located in the suite. There is a heated tandem garage (12 ft x 42 ft) located directly under the condo so there is parking for two larger vehicles.

Dave & Barb's condo is really roomy, even more spacious than the photos reveal. Our family of two adults and two teenagers had plenty of room to relax after a day on the slopes. Amenities like the hot tub, ski locker, BBQ and super spacious garage parking made it all even better. Key code entry on the door made it easy for the four of us to come and go as we please.
Dave was super responsive and clearly interested in sharing his knowledge of Big White to make our first visit a great one. He even checked in with us during the week to see how things were going. And apparently we lucked out and arrived for the absolute best week of snow this winter! 17" in 24 hours, plus refreshes of new snow a few other days - we all enjoyed some deep interior BC powder!

Timber Ridge may be the best ski in/ski out location on the hill. Dave & Barb provide lots of information to help get settled and get oriented on the hill. The unit is clean and spacious and has a great bbq, private hot tub, and amenities such as all the condiments. We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets and magnificent view. Timber Ridge is located at the top of Big White Village with excellent ski in/out access. The location on the map is a little misleading, Timber Ridge is actually located directly above Tree Tops at the end of Porcupine Road.
You can easily get to the Ridge Rocket and Ghost chairs to get up the mountain and onto the slopes, or onto the Plaza Chair to get to the Village Center. With a little more work, you can also get to the Bullet, Black Forest and Telus Park chairlifts or ski directly to the Village Center. When you return, it is very easy - no rushing to be on the right lift at the end of the day because you can ski back to the condo from the top of virtually every chairlift.
If you want to head down to the village for some shopping, dining or just a casual walk, the Village Center is about 10 minutes away. There is a free shuttle bus service that runs ever half hour with a stop directly in front of Timber Ridge parking lot entrance.
Early booking prices for 2019-20 are essentially the same as the current year. Price increase will take effect in August 2019. Start and end date of the 2019/20 season has not yet been announced.
