About Listing

This 2 bedroom lofted townhouse in The Gables is in one of the most sought after locations in Whistler. It is a 2 minute walk to ALL lifts for BOTH Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains, & to the Village.

This townhouse is beautifully decorated with a real mountain cabin feeling.  It is warm and welcoming and friendly.  This is wonderful choice for one family.

Covid 19:

During the pandemic the following policies will be in effect:

  • To reduce contact the minimum stay will be 7 nights for most dates. This ensures there is not a rapid turnover of people in the unit.
  • In order to reduce physical contact, there will be no midstay cleans regardless of how long the reservation is for. Rates reflect the reduced service level.
  • There will be a minimum of 30 hours between reservations.
  • Early check ins and late check outs may be limited in order to ensure adequate time between reservations and allow for safe entry into the unit of housekeeping staff.
  • Cancellation Policy: I give a full refund in the event of government ordered shut downs.

This property has excellent location. Very convenient to walk in everywhere. It was clean and well equipped. Easy to communicate with the owner. Since I have some back issues I found the mattress too soft for my liking, but others might find them comfortably and ok.

Great place for families and a great location

We are a family with two young children (5 and 7) and we found this place perfect for us. Quiet yet only a short beautiful stroll to the village and an even closer stroll to Blackcomb. We rented our equipment through them too which is also Whistler Blackcomb rentals which meant we could use the free valet for our skis/poles under the Carleton Lodge and we hired lockers at the same place for our boots. We only did this because our kids lessons had to be based from the village. If you are skiing out of Blackcomb itâ??s just across the road via the underpass.

Kerry was quick and responsive on all my enquiries and was accommodating with early check in and late check out which made our lives so much easier with kids. We got groceries delivered before we arrived, and making dinners at home in the full kitchen meant we could relax with the kids after a full day on the slopes.

This was a home away from home for us and we would definitely stay here again. It isnâ??t a fancy modern new apartment but we loved its mountain feel and how homely it was and the price for our 8 nights was a fraction of something fancy with the same amenities in the village.

The Gables is the perfect location! Situated between the Village and Upper Village, it is 2 minutes from all skiing, the bike park, restaurants and shops.

In the winter it is a 2 minute walk to up or download all lifts on both mountains, and to all lessons, rentals and guest services, the Tube Park and night skiing.


In the summer, it is a short 2 minute ride across the road to the Bike Park.

The grocery and liquor store are a short walk into the Village.

The Gables are situated beside Fitzsimmons Creek and Park. It is quiet and private, yet convenient to everything. You can park the car and walk!

In the summer, The Gables is right on the Valley Trail, which takes you into the Village, as well as connecting onto an extensive trail system throughout Whistler. The gondola for sightseeing and the bike park are 2 minutes away. Two golf courses are within walking distance. The skateboard park is on the other side of the creek. Swimming at Lost Lake is a 15 minute walk along the Valley Trail, so there is no need to jockey for parking.

For conference goers, the Telus Whistler Conference Centre is a 5 minute walk into the Village, or the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is a 5 minute walk to the Upper Village.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All deposits of 25% are non-refundable. All refunds are made by personal cheque. For reservations Nov 1- Apr 30: The deposit is non-refundable. If the balance is paid, the total amount is non refundable except if reservation is replaced. Refund equals value of reservation with which the cancelled booking is replaced minus 4% cancellation fee. May 1- Oct 31: If the balance is paid, refund of 50% minus 4% cancellation fee with minimum notice of cancellation 7 days prior to arrival date.
Delayed Arrivals There is no refund if your arrival is delayed at the last minute.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Emailed when balance paid.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Reservation Changes You may lengthen your stay at no charge. Shortening your stay is considered a partial cancellation and subject to cancellation policy above. There is no charge if you change the dates, but total nights remain the same.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact info@alluradirect.com between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Bike storage is provided in secure underground parking garage. Bikes may be stored inside the townhouse in the foyer.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Please request early check-in in advance.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am. Please request late check out in advance.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs If cleaning required is more than the normal 3 hours, excess costs will be charged to the guest. Includes but is not limited to any cleaning needed by restoration services, a plumber, stains, odor, smoking in the unit, or cooking. Includes any extra cleaning costs to restore the townhouse to the same condition as it was upon check in.
Excessive Noise Will not be tolerated out of courtesy to neighbours. If excessive noise is reported, after one warning the guest will be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Forgotten Items by Guest There is a $20 charge for returning forgotten items to guests. Guests are responsible for all mailing costs for forgotten items.
Housekeeping Complimentary. For reservations of 8 nights or more, full linen change and bathroom cleaned about every fifth day during your stay. The kitchen is to be maintained by the guest.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour phone support.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6 people
Property Damage Guests assume all financial responsibility for any property damage incurred by you or your guests. While no damage deposit is requested, you are financially responsible for any damage incurred by you or your guests during your stay.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Legally zoned for nightly rental.
Terms of Eviction Excessive noise, property damage, or smoking will result in eviction. No refund will be provided if you are evicted for breach of policies.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.

Property Details

This is a 2 bedroom, 2 level townhouse located on the second and third floors of the building.  Entrance is on the second floor into a mudroom with storage for skis, coats and high end bikes.  From the foyer you enter the main living area, which contains a full kitchen, dining area and living room.  The second bedroom is located on this level.

On the second level of the townhouse is the master bedroom and bathroom.  The master bedroom looks down into the living room.  The upper level is accessed by a full size staircase.
