Welcome to MOOSEHEAD LODGE located slopeside above the village with easy ski-in ski-out access from the Rambler and Sunrise runs. This beautiful luxury timber-framed chalet sleeps up to 14 with two master bedrooms that both feature ensuite bathrooms with heated towel bars, a third bedroom with a queen bed and a fourth bedroom with 8 adult sized bunk beds. This home features high cathedral ceilings throughout and sweeping views of the village and Mt Morrisey with a wrap-around balcony on both storeys.

 

Truly one of the most luxurious home in Sun Peaks, Moosehead Lodge has been exquisitely furnished with radiant floor heating throughout, a deluxe kitchen including a climate controlled wine fridge, a dining area that can seat up to 16 people, leather couches in both living rooms, a pool table in the lower entertainment area, and a brand new partially sunken hot tub installed before the winter of 2018/19.

It was our annual guys ski trip and the first time to Sun Peaks. The house was just as it was described. We did have a problem with the coffee makers and Cage's team were there later that day with a new coffee maker. Any issue that arose was dealt with promptly by the property manager.

The house was clean and well stocked. We were also happy that the AV systems were easy to use and allowed us to use our Apple TV to watch the Jets hockey games. A top notch house that worked for our gang of 11. I would not hesitate booking this home again for another trip.

Management representatives were immediately available and helpful with every concern. Upon check in a smoke detector was beeping with a low battery signal and was immediately rectified when advised. The house had no hot water available which was rectified in the evening of the first night. Overall we were very satisfied with the accommodation and and amenities.

Grocery Delivery Visit www.sunpeaksgrocery.com for orders between November 1st - March 31st for groceries, alcohol, flowers, bathroom supplies, pharmaceuticals, etc, to be delivered right to your door! If you aren't in residence at the time of delivery, they will unpack the groceries in to the fridge/freezer where applicable and arrange the nonperishables on the counter(s)/tabletop(s) for you (note: alcohol will not be delivered without someone onsite that is legal age of majority). This service is family owned and operated and has been under the same ownership since 2010. You can find their contact information on their site for any other questions.

Arrival Days Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Reservation Changes Please contact us if you need to lengthen or shorten your reservation, and we will do what we can to accommodate. Changes are not guaranteed, and refunds may be treated in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued for re-booked dates at the re-booked price and are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.

Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.
Bike Storage To be kept only in the garage or ski room. Any damage to the property will incur additional charges.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise Please respect your neighbours between 10 pm and 8 am. Guests may be fined on the spot by security if in violation of noise rules after 10 pm.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for removing garbage to the disposal area.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Liability Guests are liable for all damage and a $ 2000 bond is required by credit card upon reservation.
Locking Door Guests are required to securely lock all doors and entrances when they are not in the unit or upon departure.

Property Details

Entering from the majestic front doors this timber framed chalet welcomes you with high cathedral ceilings and enormous windows offering sweeping views over the village to Mt Morrisey.

The large upper level includes a spacious entrance hall, master bedroom (with king bed, cable tv, ensuite, fire place and private balcony), guest bathroom, laundry (with direct internal access to double garage) and ski/mud room with access to the slopes. 

Stepping down to the main level you will enjoy a large deluxe open floor plan kitchen with quality appliances (including a Nespresso coffee machine and climate controlled wine fridge), a solid timber dining table that seats 12, a kitchen island that seats 4, and large living/entertainment area with leather lounges, TV, and fireplace. The heated slate flooring adds an extra element of luxury. A large balcony wraps around the front of the house and french doors provide easy access to the Weber gas BBQ.

Travelling down the wide timber staircase to the lower level you will find a second king bedroom (also with ensuite and balcony), a large queen bedroom adjacent to a third fully appointed bathroom and the fourth bedroom has 8 bunk beds with sturdy timber frames, all with luxury mattresses and bedding.

The lower level also features an expansive 2nd living/entertainment area with an 8 ft pool table, a second fireplace, leather couches, a flat-screen TV with a Playstation 3 hooked up, and large private partially-sunken outdoor hot tub with views to Mt Morrisey.
