Arrival Days Guests can arrive on any day of the week available for booking. There are no arrival day restrictions.
Cancellations Made by Guests Cancellation by Guest: All payments are non-refundable. If we can replace your booking, we will refund your money at the re-booked rate minus a 4% cancellation fee.
Courtesy Hold Reservations For maximum fairness we operate on a first come first serve basis and do not. The first party to book the property by clicking RESERVE NOW gets the dates in question.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds if due to travel delays, weather or other issues.

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservation Changes Will be accepted provided the new dates are available. Money already paid will then be transferred to the new dates. If the new dates involve a chnage in booking season (rates), additional payments required and/or refunds due will apply.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Full respect & care should be shown to the property and all Policies adhered to.
Check-In Time 4pm. Early arrivals please enjoy the resort village until check-in.
Check-Out Time 10am. Late check-out requests will be granted when possible.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Check out cleaning costs are included in booking costs. Additional cleaning expenses will be charged in addition and billed to guest credit card as per Guest Registration Form, completed on check-in.
Excessive Noise This is a family-oriented, quiet development. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel .
Garbage Removal Provided twice weekly. Contact Housekeeping for additional garbage removal.
Housekeeping Provided twice weekly, included in booking costs. Additional housekeeping service(s) are available (including daily service) and charges apply.
Internet Availability & Usage Complimentary wireless broadband provided. Access code listed in Guest Directory. As this is complimentary, service failure is not grounds for discount/refund.
Liability The Guest making the booking is responsible and liable for all damages and for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property,or on resort lands.

One Bunkroom is located on the main level, providing a full double/single bunk + ensuite. 

The separate laundry room with large applicances is also located on this level. There is a, 2 piece powder room located off the living room & the ski in ski out enty with the  is at the back of the home on snow level .

The large King master bedroom with  ensuite,  is located on this level.  There is a Queen bedroom and a 2nd Bunk Bedroom room with Single / Single bunks & a Double Murphy bed on this level. Adjacent to these bedrooms is the second full bathroom with bath, shower toilet and separate vanity. .

Skiing enthusiasts  since 1980, we love the alpine environment. We have operated the business for the past 30 yrs and hope to share our passion for skiing and the mountains with you. 

Silver Star Mountain offers a truly wonderful intimate resort experience, with terrain that will satisfy every level of skier and rider.


John and I designed the complete renovation to create a wonderful vacation home/chalet. With over 20 years experience in ski resorts we know what works for skiers and blended the best design features into this lovely premium Vacation Home
