The Aspens on Blackcomb offer a variety of services to compliment your stay. There is a ski rental shop on the ground floor where you can choose ski / snowboard equipment for rent. They also offer a ski valet service, retrieving your skis in the morning & returning them at night. The complex offers common laundry services if you require laundry done. There is a bike lock up in the underground garage.

The Aspens complex is also on the free shuttle bus route, if you prefer not to walk or ski down the hill to Blackcomb Base, the bus stop is located outside the complex and will take you to both Blackcomb Base and the Whistler Village bus loop.

Having stayed at the Aspens in the summer, I decided to give it a go for a winter trip. The Aspens is perfect with it's ski valet, hot tubs and swimming pool and easy access to the ski slopes. Steve's apartment is located on the ground floor with easy access to all the amenities. We were able to Apres at Merlins, catch the Magic chair and then traverse across to the Aspens. Perfect. A great stay and I will definitely look to book with Steve again in the future.

A quality stay at the Aspens

I have stayed at several condo units in the Aspens property and this one is fairly typical. The location, right next to the Blackcomb Wizard lift, is excellent. The property has an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and small fitness center.

The owner of this unit was very accommodating and wanted to ensure that I was well taken care of. The unit is very comfortable and spacious. It has a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, HD TV, gas fireplace and a comfortable king sized bed. It is on the ground floor, which was convenient. And, it was quiet. I would definitely stay here once again.

Lovely Apartment, Great Location

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with good facilities. Great location for skiing/snowboarding, at the back of the resort you can ski down about 100 metres and your at the blackcomb ski lift. Steve was very responsive and easy to communicate with, we organised an early check-in the night before our stay which was appreciated.

We had a great stay in Steve's condo. The aspens is a great ski in ski out complex and a short 10-15 min walk to the village. We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and ski vallet. Steve the owner was very responsive to our questions and needs. The condo is very clean and the bed was comfy. Perfect for a family of 4. We would stay here again !

The Aspens is a great location and you can't be the ski valet and ski in/out. This unit was just "ok." It's right at the front door so it is very loud, and the mattress in the master bedroom was like a cement slab. We went home sore. We encouraged the broker to change it. Kitchen is ready for a makeover too.

Quiet, comfortable and convenient

We really like this property for several reasons: First, it is ski-in-ski-out to Blackcomb, second, it is quiet, third, it has all the necessary amenities, such as a pool, hot tub, etc. In addition, we had a problem with our TV and the property manager responded quickly and was able to solve the problem. We have stayed here 4 times in the past and will do so for our future ski trips.

The location is great for ski holidays. The unit is nice and comfortable. Aspens is a well-managed condo complex. Ski in and ski out works well - you can easily beat the morning crowd. The only issue is that it is on the main floor close to the drop in area - we've got awoken by the buses dropping off people on a few occasions.

Not quite the home away from home

First floor, just right next to check-in parking area, had to leave blinds down for privacy, thou no need for elevator, surprisingly quiet. Bigger space than pictures can show, large King bed for sure, large couch

Kitchen's space is tight, only allow for one, pot/pan need upgrade or additional, and could use dish washing sponge rather then having to trek down to the market to get one on your first day

Bathroom could use additional shampoo/soap for longer stay, Toilet's floater needs replacement (had to giggle), could use a cloth line in tab for swim suits

Could use a portable vacuum cleaner, rather than the broom which is harder to sweep dirt on tile floor. Could use some facial tissues.

Spring skiing in April is warm, fan rather heat. Would rent again if above recommendations implemented.

Aspens is a great resort with nice outdoor hot tubs and pool and great ski in, ski out location. The owner of this condo is very friendly and super responsive. When we discovered the toaster was broken a replacement was brought immediately. Our kids felt the pull out sofa was the most comfortable they had ever slept on. Thanks for a great stay!
