Backing onto the Ice Skating Rink, with views throught the trees to the top of the mountain, this home will cater for your every need. Whether is a single family travelling alone,  families travelling together or a group of ski friends looking for that special time away together, look no further, you have found winter holiday heaven. 

From the large front entry and spacious foyer area, you enter through double glass doors to this 5000 sq foot home that greets you with floor to ceiling windows,  delivering awe-inspiring views through the treetops directly to the top of the mountain showing beautiful snow covered slopes and long groomed trails that will take your breath away.   The the main living area of the home has a hand crafted gourmet kitchen, and large open plan living and dining room with seating for 12 pepople around a beautiful timber extension table. 

Silverados luxury amenities and sleek commercial grade appliances will relax and comfort you.  

The large custom built timber kitchen with 6 burner Viking stove and handcrafted curved timber benchtop with dual dishwashers and wine and beer fridge, allows wonderful social interaction due to the open plan. There is a coolroom with extra large storage fridge and freezer located in a separate room off the entry for excess grocery items and alcohol.  There is a Queen sized bedroom with large ensuite bathroom for elderly or disabled guests on the main entry level with no steps at all required.  

This luxury property provides wonderful slope side living with separate recreation areas for both the adults and the children,  giving each their own space to relax and enjoy time with friends. The private outdoor hot-tub has heated mats, there is a heated drying room and boot room, climate control with in floor heat and plush pillow top mattress' have arrived to Holiday Heaven. 

Boasting 5 Bedrooms ( each with its own bathroom ) 1 King Bedroom, 2  Queen Bedrooms, 1 Twin Room with King Singles that covert to a King Bed, and a  Bunk Room with Double / Single and Single / Single bunk beds and a walk in wardrobe, along with a separate TV/games and media room with a 60 inch flat screen TV welcomes you on the second level. There are a total of 5 Bathrooms and 2 Powder Rooms.    

A separate laundry, internet room, heated drying room and a private outdoor hot tub, ski/board lockers, wireless internet connection and complimentary housekeeping, make this your perfect home away from home. 

Ski-in/Ski-out slopeside access to the Silver Queen quad chairlift and just a few minutes level stroll to all that Silver Star has to offer - the village center and the adventure park with tubing, ice skating,  skidooing and X Country trails.

This house was a great place to spend our ski vacation. The kitchen is very well equipped if you will be cooking meals. We were a small group but this property would be well suited for larger groups and multiple families.

This is an excellent property with superior management. We have been visiting Silver Star for 15 years, and this was our favorite rental.

The booking and payment process was simple. The owner, Heather, was very responsive to inquiries about the property. The location is great - ski in/ski out, located just above the skating pond and tubing hill, no more than a 5 minute walk to the village.

Heather's home is gorgeous. It's light, well-decorated and spacious. We had three families - each set of parents had a well-appointed, comfortable en suite bedroom. The boys (five teen-agers) had a 4 bunk room and a double twin room. There is a large open kitchen/dining room/ sitting room where we could all congregate after skiing. This is the best-appointed kitchen we've ever had on any vacation. There is a separate media room on a lower floor, and yet a third gaming room - plenty of room for everyone. The deck hot tub is large enough for at least five adults. The heated pads to the hot tub are just one of the many nice details in this home.

The management company stopped by our first evening to make sure our check-in went without difficulty. After we forgot a pair of skis (parent: always check,even if the children say they're loaded the skis) they were kind enough to ship them back to us in Seattle. That is extraordinary service.

We had a great stay at this home. I would highly recommend this property.

If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Full respect should be shown to the property, Silverado, and all Policies adhered to.
Check-In Time 4pm on confirmed day of arrival. Early arrivals please enjoy the resort village until check-in.
Check-Out Time 10am. Late check-out requests will be granted when possible.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Check out cleaning costs are included in booking costs. Additional cleaning expenses will be charged in addition and billed to guest credit card as per Guest Registration Form, completed at check-in.
Excessive Noise Please lower volumes at 11pm. Neighborly consideration is important, please respect this policy.
Garbage Removal Provided twice weekly. Contact Housekeeping for additional garbage removal.

Charges applied for damages totally $25 CAD or more. Our Property Manager completes property inspection on departure day. The large entry foyer flows into the beautifully warm and contemporary Great Room.

A Queen bedroom with en-suite is conveniently located on this floor, providing level access for the elderly or challenged.


Family/Accommodation Level

This level offers more relaxation areas and 4 bedrooms all with ensuites.  The adults tv/reading room, a dedicted IT room, oversized laundry room and private deck with hot tub, are all located on this level.

The wonderful Master bedroom provides view windows covering two walls.  A Queen bedroom, a King split bedroom and a bunkroom each with ensuite bathrooms are also on this level.


Kids Entertainment & Ski-in/out Foyer

The Kids games/rec room is terrific fun and a great place to hang out!  The Ski-in/out foyer features installed ski clothing and boot drying facilities.  Heated floors and dedicated ventilation, keeping it all warm, dry and fresh.  Exterior ski/board lock-up racks are installed.

This executive property Great Room is spacious and luxurious. The raised living area has plush leather couches and cozy chairs nestled near a warm fireplace. The huge windows, across two walls, offer views of a Canadian winter wonderland nestled amongst the trees. With such warmth and comfort and the adjacent kitchen and dining areas, Silverado’s Great Room is a chic place to entertain.


Relax in the spacious recreation/games room on the second floor and take a soak in the soothing hot tub. Enjoy the moment!


The Kid’s own recreation room provides a place away from mom and dad, giving everyone their own space. Cable TV, XBOX & games are all there to enjoy.

The dining area is part of Silverado’s unique Great Room. The craftsmanship that has gone into this Custom made timber dining suite is second to none. The table seats 10 and more can join in at the near by bar stools on the oversized island. It is wonderful for large groups and great for entertaining.

A skiing enthusiast since childhood, I love the alpine environment.  Silver Star Mountain offers a truly wonderful intimate resort experience, with terrain that will satisfy every level of skier and rider.


Heather and I designed and built this property specifically as a vacation home/chalet.  With over 20 years experience in ski resorts we know what works and blended the best design features into Silverado.


Great care has been taken to ensure that this property is fully equipped and your vacation needs are well provided for.  Your enjoyment, relaxation, fun and overall experience is very important to us.
