Welcome to the Gables #60! We love Whistler / Blackcomb in all 4 seasons and hope you will, too! If you enjoy staying in a home rather than a hotel room, this is the place for you. We hope you enjoy our home and take advantage of all the good things that the area has to offer from outdoor pursuits to dining or pubbing in the village. Whistler is famous for its pampering spas and activities, or just hanging out and relaxing with friends. We'd like to extend a warm welcome to all of our guests, whether staying for the first time, or returning for another stay.
The Gables is superbly located RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD FROM THE BLACKCOMB LIFTS and a very short walk to Whistler Village. No driving necessary, just walk across the street to the slopes and ski school or stroll to the Village for shopping, restaurants, and night life. It's just a 5 minute stroll to Whistler Village and lifts, and 2 minutes across the road to Blackcomb lifts and shops.
Secure underground parking has storage for large sports equipment. Lock your golf clubs, bikes, or skis into your exclusive storage cage immediately in front of your vehicle!
SLEEPS 4. There's a king sized bed in the master bedroom, and bunks for two more in a cozy, private bunkroom.
TV, wireless Internet, and a phone for local calls.
The KITCHEN is fully appointed for meals in. Dine at the table or perch at the counter for a quick bite. High quality, full sized appliances.
Washer / dryer in suite, no need to go out to do laundry.
Ceiling fan in living room gives air circulation, and two portable fans are supplied for summer days. Note, there is no central air conditioning in The Gables.
Basic supplies are provide to get you started on your stay. Village shopping is a 5 minute walk away when you need more!

Seijas place is very well taken care of . Very clean, cozy, practical and welcoming. Within the complex, it is one of the best located . You are practically in the middle of Whistler and Blackcomb. It is next to the iconic river bridge, very close to the slopes and the village and yet in a private and quiet setting. Seija is a wonderful host and I highly recommend her place .View Full Review

The Gables is located across the street from the lifts, restaurants and services at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, yet a scenic 5 minute stroll through the Gables property and across Fitzsimmons Creek (through a covered bridge) takes to all the shops, restaurants and grocery stores of Whistler Village. This is a fabulous central location with a natural forested setting with easy access to walking and bike paths that lead to Lost Lake, the Native Cultural Center, the new Audain Art Gallery, and much much more! Walk the Fitzsimmons Creek trail under Blackcomb Way, to browse the weekend market and shops in summer and ski Blackcomb in winter. Or take a brief walk to Whistler lifts for sightseeing year round. Easy access to both mountains!

|Bike Storage||Please do not bring bikes into the residence. There is a large, secure, keyed storage cage exclusively for this residence immediately in front of the underground parking spot for this unit. It is easily accessed from the secure walking entrance to the parking garage. Bikes can be hosed down in the outdoor bike wash area.|

|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.|
|Excessive Noise||No loud noise between 10 pm and 8 am. Enforced by local by-law.|
|Garbage Removal||The garbage and recycling shed is beside the path to the outdoor parking lot. At the end of your stay, please remove your leftover items and deposit them in the appropriate bins in the shed.|
|Housekeeping||A cleaning charge of $125.00 is added to each reservation. Our home is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your arrival. Additional housekeeping is available during your stay at your expense, upon request.|
|Liability||We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or on resort property.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||Emergency contact information will be provided upon balance payment.|

|Parking & Ticketing||One parking space is allocated in the secure underground parking garage. One additional outdoor parking space is with permit only. To start your stay, some basic essentials are in the cupboard, eg coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper, etc. Dishtowels, soap, and dishwasher soap are there, too. The shops of Whistler Village are nearby, once you get settled.
Open concept! Living area with lodge style stone fireplace sets the mood. Leather sofa and chair are comfy for watching TV, reading, or just lounging.
On a hot day, enjoy sitting out on the shaded, sheltered balcony adjacent to the living area on comfy Adirondack chairs for two.
