Welcome to the "Teddy Bear Suite". This is my families private suite which has been decorated with beautiful snow scene and Teddy Bears.
We proudly offer our suite to you and your family to enjoy. Located Slopeside on Blackcomb, this ground level two bedroom suite is located on the forest side of the building with beautiful views of trees and an extra large private patio. Even though there is easy access to the heated pool and hot tubs, it is far enough away to prevent viewing and hearing the pool activities.

Aspens is our favorite place to stay in winter and summer. Being on Blackcomb is a little quieter than the Whistler village but its still close enough to not need to drive you car at all.
Pool and hot tubs are great.
There's a pretty good bike storage although it is was a little crowded. Street parking is required if your vehicle is over height, but this is not a deal breaker.
This suite is excellent for a family or a group of 3-4. Beds are good, kitchen is well stocked to prepare meals. A BBQ would be nice, but who goes to Whistler to cook for themselves anyways?
Will stay here again if available on our next trip.

Excellent suite in excellent location in upper village. Easy walk to main village. Suite was very well equipped including a really thorough guest guide and everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals at home, and amenities at the facility were great. Check in was a breeze with coded doors. This is one of our "go to" suites in Whistler - really good value and responsive owners. Will be staying here again for sure.

Great location and value. Second time staying at the Aspens in the end of Summer. Just a few minutes away to bike to tbe bike park. 3 hot tubs and good size pool for afterwards. The room had everything I needed and I appreciated the newer TV's which were easy to cast and connect to my phone. Bike storage down below with easy access. Just a short stroll down the hill trail to restaurants and shops. Another short walk to the main village. The beds were comfortable. Almost stayed again the next week but it was booked up. Will return again. Thank you for the great stay.

Place is well equipped. I especially liked that they had plenty of dishes and cutlery and you did not have to run the dishwasher because you had run out. Patio has a hedge in front so is not easily accessible from outside. Nice to look out at a wall of trees - quiet. Easy to walk to village by going out the back and down the slope.

We had a great time and the condo was well furnished with comfortable beds and enough seating for our group of 5 people. Judie was very responsive to any questions/concerns and made our stay enjoyable. As it is in the Blackcomb Mountain/benchlands, it is a short hike to the condo from the upper village, but even my father-in-law who uses a cane for walking, was able to manage the distance without problems.

A very convenient location. It's a short walk into the village and lets you have that much-needed walk after a big dinner before you settle in for the night. This is an excellent property that wont disappoint. It is conviently located just outside the main Whistler village. ( Only a 5 minute walk)The condo is beautiful, spacious as as exactly as it looks in the photos. It is clean and well stocked. The back patio area is a good size, and looks out to beautiful scenery. The staff at the Aspens are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this suite! This is the second time I have stayed at a Herrera suite, and I thoroughly enjoyed both!

We have stayed at Aspens many times over the years and really love the location. The unit was perfect for a family of four. An added bonus is the ski valet. we used the rental shop this time and the guys there were great.
Would have liked some seating by the pool at this time of year as the sun was shining and adults watching their kids would have liked a place to sit.

This suite is fabulous & the photos donâ??t do it justice, really well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels & blankets, easily controlled heating. The Aspens is a well run complex with nice common areas including hot tubs, lounge, ice and vending machines with basic groceries as well as snack food.
Judie responded quickly to any queries we had during our stay. My only problem is with the ski valet in the morning- skis are not allowed to be stored in the suite but we had to wait 20 mins to get our skis some mornings, so improvement is needed there at peak times.
Would love to stay here again!

Everything was great. Only small problem was the safe was not open when we arrived and housekeeping could not locate the master key to open but that was a small issue. Other than that venetian blind in the master bedroom appeared to be broken but did not cause any practical issues. We enjoyed our stay at this property and would not hesitate to return.

We enjoyed our stay and would book this property again. Great for ski and ski out and a 10-15 minute stroll to the village. Unit was very clean, towels for the pool were plentiful and provided by the front desk.The location of the unit and being on the first floor, made for a very easy and quick check in and out. There is underground parking available at an additional cost of $17 a day.

Judie and Eugene are experienced owners have very good systems/processes in place that make it a good experience.
The Aspens is a choice location, very very close to the Wizard chair on Blackcomb so when it says ski in / ski out they mean it. The ski valet is awesome - pick up your skis in the morning, drop them off at the end of the day. 3 hot tubs all at different temperatures (hot, medium and warm) make for a nice relaxing apres. The family room was never utizlied by others during our stay so we put on movies for our kids and they loved being "kings of the family room".

We really enjoyed our stay of the Teddy Bears suite in the Aspens, located on the first floor it minimizes time waiting for elevators. The two bedrooms allows us to include our young adult children in comfort. The valet service for skis makes the beginning and end of the skiing day in this wonderful ski-in/ski-out location even easier. I have no hesitation to recommend this suite!

The owner is very responsive, the beds hadnt been changed when i arrived but the owner got the cleaner to come and make up the beds at 10pm when we arrived. Thanks for making a possible bad stay into a good one. Overall the suite is nice and clean just the cleaner must have missed checking this room when they left and forgot to do the beds.

Everything was exactly as described. A warm, comfortable family home. Arrival went without incident, the condo was warm and clean. The kitchen was well appointed amend the beds were comfortable. Easy to get on the slopes in the morning and convenient ski valet to take your gear at the end of the day. Would definitely stay again.
The kettle does need to be replaced as the switch is broken but it was easy enough to boil water on the stovetop so not a huge deal.

The location is great and the amenities are mostly good. But we had a major problem with the room: there was dog hair everywhere. This was quite surprising to us because the info on Allura and in the materials sent to us by the owners stressed with exclamation marks that no pets are allowed. But it turns out that the owners are allowed to have pets, and in this case the owners let some relatives bring their dogs. A big problem for us because my wife is allergic to dogs and asthmatic.
We called Judy Herrera right away and her response was "I don't guaranty that the room is non-allergenic." No apology whatsoever. She just told us to contact cleaning staff on our own. Never even checked back with us.
A smaller problem was that we could not get a DVD to run on any of the TVs. The instructions included such helpful tips as "you may have to reprogram the remote."
Clearly these owners are "hands off." Don't expect any assistance from them.

I would highly recommend the owner having a stash of the most essential condiments, like sugar, salt, cooking oil, olive oil ,etc so that guest after guest can enjoy more ease in cooking. Even I as a guest was coulld have left some condiments, like tea and other things but it was prohibited in the manual.

Thanks, all went great. I appreciate the nice condo and good value. Four of us there were very comfortable. 2 things that should be mentioned in addition to the other comments made. On the stove there's a mal-functioning "ON" light. It was on, from the time we checked in, till we left. It didn't affect the function of the stove (which we used, just fine). But it should be fixed, or a note posted to disregard it.
Next - the parking fees at the Aspens are MUCH higher than in the condo description. And this is for low season. Anyway, we still liked everything about it, and all the rest of the description and pics are great. We'd recommend it... and would definitely stay here again. THANKS !!

Two couples stayed for the long August weekend for four nights. The suite was cool at night since it was on the ground floor. Located at the back of the building, it was quiet and private. We cooked in a couple of nights and the kitchen was equipped with all necessities.
We have stayed at the Aspens before and like the bike lock up and secure parking. It is a close walk to restaurants locally. The pool and hot tubs are great too! We would stay again in this suite.

Love the location. Facilities are nice, and the King and twin beds were comfortable. There is one cupboard door in the kitchen that is coming loose, the kitchen sink faucet is getting loose too, the screen door to back porch is not operational (but it was cold and snowing so we didn't want to use it anyway) and the air mattress that is suggested for use on the sofa sleeper has a broken valve - can't hold air.

The door to the master bedrm will not stay open and the ensuite bathroom door will not close. It looks like the latch/bolt have to be physically adjusted. Ski in and out was impossible because of the conditions but other than the above issues we had a good time.

Love the Aspens! The two bedroom unit was perfect for our family of four; The bedroom for the kids, the full kitchen, large dinning room table, comfy seating in the living room, comfortable beds, two bathrooms, free wifi, lots of space. Even though the weather was poor while we were there, we still enjoyed the pool and hot tubs every day. The only reason I give the amenities a 3 is that I would recommend a new screen door to the porch (falling apart), screens that fit the windows better and we wished the hot tub by the pool was functional (hasn't worked the last two years I've been there). All in all a great place and great location. Ready to head back to Whistler already!

Neither the Property Owner nor Rental Manager shall be held liable for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any theft, accident, injury, death, damage, delay, inconvenience or distress, whether or not arising by the negligence of the Property Owner or Manager and the Guests hereby waive any and all such liability. The Guest booking this accommodation is responsible for making all members of the party aware of these terms, failing which the said Guest will be held liable to and shall save harmless and indemnify the Property Owner and/or Manager, from any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising as a result thereof. A confirmed reservation by e-mail constitutes notice to Guests of these exclusionary terms and Guests are deemed to have read and agreed to the foregoing.
