Welcome to the "Teddy Bear Suite".  This is my families private suite which has been decorated with beautiful snow scene and Teddy Bears.

We  proudly offer our suite to you and your family to enjoy.  Located Slopeside on Blackcomb, this ground level two bedroom suite is located on the forest side of the building with beautiful views of trees and an extra large private patio.   Even though there is easy access to the heated pool and hot tubs, it is far enough away to prevent viewing and  hearing the pool activities.


This two bedroom suite provides:

Place is well equipped. I especially liked that they had plenty of dishes and cutlery and you did not have to run the dishwasher because you had run out. Patio has a hedge in front so is not easily accessible from outside. Nice to look out at a wall of trees - quiet. Easy to walk to village by going out the back and down the slope.

We loved this unit. It was perfect for our vacation. Right off the Blackcomb run so it was way to get in and out to ski. They had a ski valet that made it easy to pick up and store our gear. For future trips we will look specifically for this unit first.

Our group has for many years have rented units at the aspens. This year were were lucky enough to get both of the Herrera's ground floor units. They give our group close access to the other units & were on the ground floor so no elevator issues . Looking forward to next year.

This is my families personal "Teddy Bear Suite".   It is decorated with beautiful snow scenes and Teddy Bears.   The entry, kitchen and bath have tile floors, the living room and bedrooms have wood floors.   We have tried to furnish the suite with all the luxuries of home for your enjoyment, and each year we continue to upgrade and add more amenities.  For your security, the entry door is set with a personal door code for each guest's visit and we have installed a private safe in the suite that is large enough to store a 17" laptop computer.    The bedrooms have hotel quality, pillow top mattresses with individual coils.   The sofa bed has a memory foam mattress, so it is as comfortable as a normal bed.

Our "Teddy Bear Suite'  is located in the Aspens on Blackcomb, which is  slopeside at the base of the main chair of Blackcomb mountain.  It is one of the best locations in Whistler.  The Aspens is a "U" shaped building with a large courtyard that contains a year-around heated outdoor pool and 3 hot tubs.    At the opening of the courtyard is the Blackcomb ski slope, you can ski directly from the courtyard.  After the day's skiing, just ski into the courtyard and hand your skis to the complimentary ski valet for over night storage and/or waxing.   The Aspens is located on the benchlands of Blackcomb which is a quiet family area away from the noise of the village and the night life.   If you want to enjoy the activies of  Whistler village, it is just a  5 minute walk or you can take the free shuttle.     Our suite is located on the ground floor  and faces into the quiet, peaceful forest.

Please read them carefully to ensure they meet your group's requirements. Our development is family-oriented with strict after-hours noise restrictions. Before making a booking, ensure that this property is suitable for you, based on the policies summarized below:

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Guests can arrive on any day of the week. There are no arrival days restrictions.
Cancellations Made by Guests Cancellations at any time are subject to a minimum $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 45 days of arrival will result in loss of reservation deposit and possibly loss of entire amount. If reservation is cancelled 45 days or more prior to arrival, then refunds will be limited to the amount paid less a 5% cancellation fee or $50 (which ever is more). If reservation is cancelled less than 45 days prior to arrival, every attempt will be made to reschedule the suite with another guest. For nights that we are able to reschedule with another guest, we will refund the amount that the replacement guest paid less 5% cancellation fee or $50 fee (whichever is more). Payment for nights that we are not able to reschedule with another guest, will not be refunded. Refunds will be limited to the revenue that was secured from the replacement guests, and will be sent after the arrival date. Cancellations for any reason are subject to the same refund policy. OWNER DOES NOT REFUND THE BOOKING FEES OR TAXES CHARGED BY ALLURA DIRECT. ANY REFUNDS OF THESE FEES WOULD NEED TO BE DONE BY ALLURA DIRECT.

Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Please call if payments are going to be late. Late payments might result in cancellation of reservation and loss of deposit.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guests also agree to not use Owner or Contact personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Owners and their Contact.
Property Sale All bookings will be preserved in the event of a property sale. If the booking is not preserved by the new Owners, the new Owners will be contractually bound to move your booking at their expense.
Reservation Changes Reservations can be changed based on our cancellation policies.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact info@alluradirect.com between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Please do not take bikes into the suite. Please check with the front desk for the location of the bike storage facilities. Bikes are NOT permitted in the building.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Door combination code will activate shortly before this check-in time, there is no access to the suite until the door code activates.
Check-Out Time 11:00 am. Door combination code will de-activate shortly after this check-out time and access to the suite will be denied.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guest is responsible for paying excessive cleaning costs stemming from extraordinary cleaning above the standard typical Guest stay. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise This is a family-oriented, quiet development. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.
Garbage Removal Please remove garbage from suite. Garbage room is located in small building outside the front door of the Aspens, the front desk can direct you to this location.
Housekeeping No housekeeping is provided during your stay. Cleaning after departure is included. Housekeeping during your visit can be arranged for a fee
Internet Availability & Usage Free internet is provided in the room. This is provided from Shaw cable who maintains this service. The user id and password are included in the instruction book located in the condo. Any issues with the internet should be directed to Shaw Cable.
Liability The Guest doing the booking is responsible and liable for all damages for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property,or on resort lands
Locking Door Instructions for the door lock is provided via email approximately 2 weeks before arrival, including instructions on how to customize the code. The door automatically locks when you leave the suite. If you get locked out, please do not expect immediate response, it might take some time for someone to come to your rescue, please be patient.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour front desk.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6 overnight people, excessive occupants (without owner approval) will result in eviction. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.
Missing Items Guests will assume costs of replacing items that are missing upon the Guest departure.
Noise Restrictions Disturbing neighboring residents is prohibited. Fines will be levied on the spot to Guests who are disturbing the peace. Guests may also be evicted from the premise by the strata security company. Guests are also responsible for fines levied agains the Owner as result of noise bylaw infringements by the Guest. Normal conversation pitch is accepted. Continued screaming, yelling and/or swearing is not. The Owner will not refund evicted Guests.
Policy Updates Guests are accountable to the policies posted on my web site at the time of booking the property and are not subject to policies that were amended or added after their booking was made.
Property Damage Property damage of common or private property includes: physical damage, excessive cleaning, defacing property, excessive noise, littering, lude public behavior, missing items/theft. Guest agrees to pay for all private or common property damage caused by the Guest themselves, or a member of their party. Guests may also be evicted.Refunds will not be issued in the event of eviction. Owner reserves the right to request Guest account inactivation.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is zoned for nightly rentals.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Please do not bring skis and boards into the suite. Complimentary ski and board storage is provided for all Aspens guest, please use this service.
Terms of Eviction Second complaint will result in eviction by the security service.Evictions will result for excess noise, property damage, and other policy violations. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.

Property Details

Our "Teddy Bear Suite'  is located on the ground floor, near the snow, so there are no hassles with stairs or elevators.  When you enter our suite, the kitchen is on the left side and the dining area and living room are straight ahead.  The living room has a sliding glass door to the covered private patio that has a table and chairs.  Our patio is twice the size of  all the other suites in the building, and is half covered to protect you from the weather.  On the left side of the living room is the master bedroom with a king size bed and a private bath with deep soaking tub.  On the right side of the entry is another bath with an extra large shower and a second bedroom with two extra-long twin beds.  There is a queen size sleep sofa in the living room with memory foam mattress, so it is very confortable.  Suite sleeps 6 people. There is a 42" HDTV in the living room with Blu-ray/DVD/CD player and a 32" HDTV in each bedroom with CD player. There is a personal safe in the master closet to protect your valuables and it is large enough to store a 17" laptop. There are games and puzzles in the living room trunk. Living Area

Warm comfortable living room with NEW sleeper sofa and large chair.  Sofa bed has memory foam  mattress, so it's as comfortable as a normal bed. Gas fireplace with hooks below the mantel so you can hang up your wet hats and gloves.   There are 2 reading lamps, cable tv on a 42" LCD high definition TV, Blu-ray DVD/CD Player.   Wood floors and fresh paint.  We have decorated this room with Teddy Bears and many personal hand-crafted items made by family members.  Enjoy the colorful decorations and the warm ambiance.  There is a sliding glass door which leads to the private, covered patio with a  view of the courtyard and the surrounding mountains.

Special Features

This is my families personal "Teddy Bear Suite".  It is decorated in teddy bear theme.  The suite is freshly painted.  The entry, kitchen and baths have tile floors, the living room and bedrooms have wood floors.  We have tried to furnish the suite with all the luxuries of home for your enjoyment, and each year we continue to upgrade and add more amenities.  For your security, the entry door is set with a personal door code for each guest's visit and we have installed a private safe in the suite that is large enough to store a 17" laptop computer.  

This suite faces into the trees and is a very private suite with an extra large deck.      We proudly offer it to you and your friends to enjoy.

About Us

We are a skiing family.  Our children have been skiing since they were very young, and they love the variety of Whistler and the activities of the village.  We live in the Seattle area, so Whistler is only a few hours away.  Our  "Teddy Bear Suite'  is our pride and joy and has allowed our family to create wonderful memories of our numerous ski trips.  We have decorated it  with many personal touches and have tried to provide all the luxuries of home.    We proudly offer our "Teddy Bear Suite' for your friends and family to enjoy, and we hope you will build wonderful memories of your visits to Whistler.
