This penthouse is well appointed with modern furnishings, appliances and electronics with a warm and inviting décor of natural wood timbers and colors. Our spacious home has a large entrance way with boot room, heated tiled floor, and plenty of closet space with entry way to the 3rd bedroom and main guest bathroom. Great property, we would stay here again, but 2 things need to be improved. The mattresses are in need of replacement, the one in the 2nd bedroom is particularly hard. The kitchen needs to be restocked with new stuff. What is provided is outdated and not up with luxury standard of this property.

The penthouse was absolutely perfect for us - like home from home. The welcome pack was much appreciated. It is huge and generously equipped in every way. It’s in a quiet location and the ski in/out is very easy. For non skiers it’s just a short walk to the bottom of Lara’s gondola. Highly recommended.

The place was big, clean and easy to get in and out. My only slightly negative point would be that if you have children and you like to stay up a little later than them, it will be tough cause the sound travels quite a bit into the kids rooms. Still by the third night they were so tired, it wasn’t an issue and I still give it 5 stars.

The unit was as expected. Although there were a few minor issues ( main fireplace was not working initially) it did get repaired within a few days of our arrival. I understand things break and parts are back ordered, but i was satisfied the repairs got done and this was not a deal breaker.

Overall a great place, roomy, comfy. I would definitely go back to this unit.

We loved this property. We have stayed at South Point on a couple of occasions. This is one of the best ski-in and ski-out locations we have had in fifteen years on the hill. This unit was very well appointed. It would have been nice to have more spices in the kitchen.

The Property is fantastic and the location is perfect for children and families. It is close to Happy Valley and the gondola back to the centre of the village. The condo is spacious and the rooms are well kept. The kitchen has the basic utensils, pans, and if you are needing coffee ask about the coffee machine so you can bring the right type of coffee pods.

Overall we had a great stay with no problems, any concerns were dealt with by the property manager as soon as possible. We would go back to the same location if its available next year.

Big White, Southpoint Rental Home

WOW! What a fabulous home and rental experience. It was our family's second visit to Big White and the accommodations were just outstanding! The layout worked exceedingly well for the four adults and the four high school aged teenagers. The fact that the gondola was "in the back yard" sure made it easy to come and go to the Village Centre.

The property manager for the home also did an outstanding job. Directions were right on, all the codes to open the doors and garage were perfect. I mean, it was an turn key operation and well appreciated. The Big Sky folks did a great job of keeping the road and the parking area clear of snow. It was even fun to watch.

From a woman's point of view, the kitchen was well stocked with the necessary bowls, plates, sliverware, etc. Nice touch with extra hot tub towels AND the hot tub was sooooo nice. Can you tell, nothing but praise for the owners and the managers.WOW

What an amazing home to spend a wonderful holiday in! Southpoint is warm, welcoming and so comfortable to come back to after a day of skiing. Conveniently positioned just off a ski run but still close enough to walk to the gondola (or walk up hill to) the village. Enough room for a family or group of friends.

Everything is exactly as described but still couldn't believe just how beautiful this home was when we walked in. We will definitely come back to stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home

Southpoint was a great choice. The ski in ski out from this condo was so easy. Even for the 5yo.. The condo itself was huge. So comfortable and spacious. There was nothing I needed in the kitchen that I couldn't find. Even down to sugar, foil, cling wrap.. Hot tub was great. The view was stunning in the late afternoon on sunny days. Will be returning!!

Best winter family vacation

We loved loved this place, and have booked for next year already. The detail in the finishing of the home was absolutely lovely. Just some suggestions. And Im not complaining, so please dont get me wrong. Myself, I didn't ski or board, I was the cook for our family. Im 5'2" and had a difficult time getting into the upper cabinets, I would suggest a stool in the condo specifically for that.

There was 6 in our party, and only 2 chairs on the main deck. The weather was +10, more chairs on the deck to enjoy the south sunshine would be a plus. We ended up taking the dining chairs out, as we would sit on the south deck at lunch time between being on the slopes. A few more kitchen towels, and cloths please. The bbq did not start well. The ignitor did not work at all. Was a bit dangerous. There were bulbs burnt out in master bath, and kitchen, which I mentioned to the cleaning staff. I understand that it would go unnoticed unless your there using them.

We loved the home. It was everything we wanted. The above are not complaints, just suggestions. The chairs on south deck and bbq would be most important. see you next year The home was well supplied with linens.

We are Big White regulars, and really enjoyed our stay here Dec. 2014. Had never stayed so low on the hill, but this location is super convenient to the lodge and gondola when you want to go to the village. There was so much room to relax, and the hot tub is wonderful, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our ONLY problem was that all the mattresses are so hard that many had trouble sleeping, and there was competition for the couches!
