Place was great. Short distance to the gondola or a small uphill hike to a groomed run to the rocket, ghost or plaza chair. Beds, bathroom kitchen were clean and fairly modern. Hottub was a must and served well after a long day in the powder. One reminder if you want to bbq you'll need to bring your own but we managed just fine in the well stocked utilities in the kitchen. Enjoy!

New Year's Big White

Our family of 4 vacationed here for the 2020 New Year. The condo is well equipped and taken care of, just as the photos show. The hot tub was a nice touch, with a great view of the New Year's fireworks. It's a short walk up the road in order to ski down to the gondola. Skiing in is not a problem, just keep up your momentum on the crossover trail ;) We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay over spring break...compared to other places weâ??ve stayed in the past this was refreshing because it literally had everything we needed.,,.down to Gary telling me there was already coffee at the condo I didnâ??t need to buy any. We had a range of ages staying and it was good for all. This kids even enjoyed using the pool one morning.

We had a couple non-skiers with us and the comfort of the place provided them a great vacation too. The only thing that would have helped us would be a later check out time....given we had some in our group not hitting the hill they had to find somewhere to hang out for the whole day after checkout.

Fantastic owners! Nice of Gary to check in on us part way through the week.

Big White Holiday at Raven

A lovely fully furnished apartment, comfortable bed, beautiful and warm, even though outside temps dropped to ~-20c. The under floor heating was amazing. Kitchen was great, everything you could need (we did do a reasonable amount of cooking). The owners were available both via email and phone, and even dropped in for a chat to make sure everything was up to scratch. Thanks Garry and Ed.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Condo was a warm and welcoming place, the location was perfect with only a short walk to the gondola and food. Ed one of the owners was one of the nicest guys I've ever met, he was friendly and helpful and made our stay ever more enjoyable. Place would be great for couples or small family with everything you could need, it was a home away from home. Hot tub was so relaxing after a day out on the mountain, and watching fireworks on a Saturday night while enjoying a drink in the hot tub was great.

I can't wait to come back and stay again!

Ski Holiday at Big White

First of all, great responsive communication from Garry. We arrived a day late due to airline issues, and had 3 weeks at the apartment. It was a lovely fully furnished apartment, beautiful and warm, even though outside temps dropped to ~-20c. The underfloor heating was amazing.

Kitchen was great, everything you could need (we did do a reasonable amount of cooking). The pantry had the basic staples on arrival, made things so easy after 30 hrs traveling. Master bed was comfy and warm, loved steam shower in the main bathroom.

And loved the spa, was an essential after skiing each day, :) and thanks to Ed for dropping be each few days to check the spa and make sure we were enjoying ourselves.

Some LITTLE suggested improvements?
Would love an electric jug rather than stovetop kettle (pls ps pls).
The info book could do with a refresh

This is our fifth time back to Garry and Eds unit. It is a newer end unit in a good location. Easy access to the ski slopes via the gondola and Happy Valley.

The unit is well appointed, with all the essentials to cook at home, and a hot tub on the deck. If you are there on a Saturday, enjoy the frontrow seat to the fireworks. On days sunny days there is a great view of the valley. We will be back next year!

Spring Break Family Ski vacation

Garry was very helpful with answering any questions that we had. The property was clean and well kept. The steam shower was a welcome bonus! The ski out portion was difficult to find. I also agree with another person that the couch was not the most comfortable to sit on after a day of boarding but these are small quibbles. Overall this is a great unit to spend some time with family or friends skiing and enjoying all that Big Whit has to offer.

New Years at Big White

Our first trip to Big White and we were lucky to find a nice condo on relatively short (2 months out) time frame for Christmas to New Years. Nicest surprises: Our Chevy Suburban fit in The Raven garage without removing Thule Atlantis 1800 roof box (cleared by 2-3 inches, even with a few inches of snow at the garage entrance). Looking at other condo garages around Big White, this is not the case at every building. The master bed with mattress topper was very soft after a day of skiing. Steam shower and great rain shower fixtures. End unit condo has killer views and I suspect much brighter and open than some others in the building. When fireworks are launched in Happy Valley parking lot, the view from the hot tub would be tough to beat-- front row seat! Only little room for improvement, maybe: The living room furniture is not the kind you could "flop" into and nod off by the fire. But, hey, it's a sleeper sofa for added capacity and those are always a trade-off. Overall, great stay, the family loved it, and the condo was shiny new and SPOTLESS on arrival. Very nice. Apartment was great.Clean and spacious . Good location. Great family hill. Only complaints were minor such as no DVD videos, Limited TV options. Had trouble getting into pool and fitness equipment was disappointing.

Amazing month at Big White!

My time at Gary and Ed's place was amazing. The kitchen is well stocked with place settings for 14. Didn't have to run the dishwasher that often. I gave the facilities a 4 star because the elevator was down upon my arrival and had to carry my stuff up, however, I called Dawn and it was up the next day. She is the building manager and quite responsive.

I also gave 4 stars for the ease of checkin and arrival because the access code to the garage was not correct but I lucked out and followed another guest into the garage. The updated codes were in the guest book in the unit.

The ski out as mentioned by other reviewers is not strap into your bindings and go. You have to either walk across the road and ski to the gondola or hike up the hill, cross big white road then up to the ski out across the road. I chose this one after realizing it was just as easy and five minutes quicker to the Ridge/Snow ghost chairs.

Only things missing that I brought because I drove was a BBQ and a crock pot. Again thanks guys, hope to do it again next year!

Fun family ski trip at Big White

We very much enjoyed staying at your condo at Big White. The layout is just perfect for a family of four: lots of room for us to relax after a meal. The hot tub on the deck was lovely, as was the view of the Saturday night fireworks. We found everything we needed in the kitchen for making meals. I was particularly thrilled with the very comfortable queen sized bed in the master bedroom.

The only minor suggestion I would make is supplying drapes/blinds that block out the light in the bedrooms. We found it quite bright first thing in the morning in the master bedroom, but i guess it works just fine for those people who like to get up early for skiing!

The online pictures accurately reflect the appearance of the condo. It is attractive, thoughtfully furnished, and very well appointed with high end appliances, kitchen implements, linens, etc. Clearly, the owners have been attentive to the needs of their guests. The condo is well situated, with easy access to both downhill and nordic skiing.

The Big White area offers ski levels for everyone, good restaurants, and friendly staff. We had a delightful vacation!
