The suite is small but it is enough for a couple. However, it is not properly equipped/designed for summer vacations. There is no AC, no patio, no tub, no bbq. For winter is fine.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our Family Day Weekend 2020. The location was absolutely fantastic both ski in and ski out, plus close to the village as well for those nice evening strolls after supper. The bed was comfortable and the couch bed was fine as well. Great value for this gem of a place. Don was very quick and informative with all the questions and concerns we had. Thank you so very much for a great place and making our Family Day Weekend so special.

This was a terrific venue. Ski in/Ski out and close to the village for dining. Everything I needed was in the suite. It was clean, well appointed and perfect for my ski holiday. Don Fehst, Managing Director, was super responsive. Will be back next year hopefully for 2 weeks instead of 1!

Overall this is a very nice property. There are however few reasons for not giving this place five stars across the board.

Bathroom was poorly cleaned on our arrival and all towels were wet. When I contacted property manager, I was told that cleaning crew probably was in a hurry and that dryer was not working well, so no time to finish drying and that I can dry them myself. It took a long time to dry all of the towels as indeed the dryer did not work as it should. Later on we discovered that range does not work as one would expect it to work. I thought it was broken all together but my husband discovered that no heating element would work without a large element being on. Same for the oven. It would only work if large element was on. All elements were at 30 percent heating power even at max, so cooking time was significantly prolonged. Oh, and the oven....took forever to heat up, so I have not really used it as it would consume too much of my time.

I always rent a place with a full kitchen so I can cook a meal for my family. In this property it was not possible this time, so staying in Sun Peaks did cost me extra for eating out more than I anticipated. Heating in the floor also did not work, but it did not bothered me much.

I contacted the property manager about the range and floor via email but he did not acknowledge my concern in any way, and offered no help.

If you decide to stay in this property, check with the manager and or the owner if the range, dryer, heating in the floor works, or you maybe disappointed if these things are important to you. I did send an email to the property manager about the range trouble

I would recommend this property to all for a ski holiday. The full size kitchen is fully equipped to allow cook at home meals. Washing machine and dryer allows clothes to be washed when needed.

The property is ski in and out for an intermediate to advanced skier. Boarders and beginners will have to walk a short distance. We like to be away from the village as it can be noisy during weekends. Being a short walk to the village this property is quiet on weekends.

This was our second stay at this property and we now know some of the nearby locals which makes us feel like we are at home. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Our party of 4 had a great time over 4 nights from 11 February. Great weather and snow conditions made for near perfect days and our lovely apartment was much appreciated. Being return guests from 2013 we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed - from good location, good ski access, cosy, comfortable apartment, well appointed and such a great design. Full credit to all those involved.

Excellent value in this unit - it has everything needed for an enjoyable and comfortable time. The ski-out to Mt. Morrisey is little awkward and requires a fair bit of poling to get to the bottom of the chair lift due to the flat terrain, but this just serves to warm you up in the morning. We had a couple problems with the wireless Internet access in the unit and not being able to connect, these were solved by rebooting the router each time. A power bar or two in the living room wouldn't be a bad idea to make sure everything can be plugged in.

These are all minor complaints and overall I can definitely recommend this unit.

Family day in Sun Peaks

We spend Family Day weekend at Crystal Forest. Its very clean and looks like it has been renovated recently. Plus is it has the private hot tub and separate bathroom which was convenient with our teenage girl.

However, the kitchen is small, and does not have much room for full meal preparing, We brought our own pre-made meals, so used only microwave and coffee machine. You can make eggs and basic stuff of course. you get to eat at the counter top or living room, there is no dining table.

Its perfect for small family for its price. I do recommend this property. Huge plus, you can bring your pooch with you, and we are grateful that the owner allowed us to bring our furry friend.

Nice cozy condo for two at Sun Peaks

We loved this place. It is not large but it is ideal for two people, or a young family with a couple of children. The price was reasonable. We read some reviews saying the ski in/ski out was a bit tricky but, with a minor bit of scouting, we found a couple of very easy routes in and out that needed only a very short hike in ski boots. The kitchen was well-equipped. Our only complaint, and it was very minor, was that there was no Kleenex supplied, not really a problem, but a bit of a surprise. We would certainly stay again.

Excellent property. Good ski out to Morrisey lift and ski in from Sundance lift. Unit had all the facilities that are required for a longer stay such as washing machine and dryer. Very quiet considering ground floor unit. Nice short walk to village which was nice at night time. Lots of space for a couple.
