Ski in Ski out: This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is located in Glacier Lodge, a true ski-in/ski-out property at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. Situated on the top floor this end unit condo over looks the upper village stroll boasting coffee shops, restaurants and retail below. This unit has air conditioning for the hot summer months and a cozy gas fireplace for the winter.

The main floor features an open concept kitchen, dining and living area with access to a private balcony. A queen sofa bed in the living room offers additional sleeping for up to 6 guests total. A full bathroom with combo shower and tub is on this level. Off the living/dining area is the spacious master bedroom with TV and private ensuite bathroom with stand-up glass shower. Secondary access to the balcony is off the master bedroom as well. Upstairs is the second bedroom which over looks the living and dining area through windows. This loft style bedroom has two twin beds that can be pushed together as a king upon request, a TV and closet. The windows and door can be closed for quietness and privacy.


Concierge service is provided for our guests to assist with arranging transportation to the resort, equipment rentals, ski/board lessons, pre-purchased lift and sightseeing tickets,  pre-arrival grocery shopping, child care, spa services, and more, so that you will have a carefree and relaxing vacation. Guests will receive a welcome email from our concierge once a booking has been confirmed.

Guests must be 26 years of age and must provide photo ID upon check-in unless prior approval has been granted. Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Whistler Ideal Accommodations retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met, with no refund provided.

Guests are to check-in with our front desk prior to gaining property access, at which time they will be required to present a credit card and photo ID for a pre-authorization of $500. The authorization will be charged in the event of costs such as damage, missing items, and or excessive cleaning, by the guests. Guests are responsible for any costs also exceeding the pre-authorized value. The credit card must be in the name of the main guest.

Good accommodation, great location.

Good accommodation, accurately described. Very comfortable beds. Water pressure is poor in showers. Usable, but disappointedly weak. Couches in living space a bit grubby. Main areas for improvement are the common areas of the complex. We've been staying at Glacier Lodge for 7 years now and they have not changed at all in that time. Long overdue for a revamp to improve the experience for what is sold as a premium location.

This is our second stay at this unit. The location is great. Close to everything. Just 10 minute walk to the village, walking distance to lost lake and very close to gondola. The unit is very roomy and well laid out. Air conditioning in the summer is a bonus. Kitchen has almost everything you need to prepare all your meals if you wish to eat in.There is a liquor store in the building, a market just steps away and several restaurants nearby. There is a front desk staff who are very helpful.

Located on the Blackcomb side, much quieter than Whistler, but not a hard walk to main village. Also an easy walk to the slopes. Owner was able to add on a night for us when our travel plans changed and very easy to work with. We are a family of 4 and it worked out fine. Anymore than that could be a tight fit.

All in all a nice option to stay during the holidays or anytime during ski season.

Wonderful stay in this unit. Clean, comfortable, almost everything you need to cook meals is provided in the kitchen. Rob was great to deal with, quick reply to inquiries. Front desk staff at the Glacier are very polite and helpful. Location is so convenient, especially if you have children and want to walk to or bike to lakes. Easy walk to the village. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved #3** at the Glacier Lodge! We were up for 4 nights during the Ironman competition and enjoyed the vibe & excitement in & around Whistler Village. This was our 10th stay at the Glacier Lodge & this is one of our favorites; beautiful, modern & well-stocked kitchen, spacious living room & bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & a lovely balcony overlooking the Upper Village walkway.

There was A/C in living room & king bedroom & it was nice to have a fan for the loft to keep our guests cool, though it never got too hot in the suite. Our son & 4 of his buddies stayed in the suite next door to ours (same suite owner) & they loved it! He will write his own review, which I know will be positive!

We had a very nice stay - this is our second stay in this complex. It's a great location, a lot quieter than the lower village in the evening which is nice. My only complaint is that the carpets are certainly due for a proper steam clean, and the coffee maker could be replaced.

Great location, great place for a family of four

This condo worked very well for our family of two adults and two teenagers. Our teenage daughters had their own space upstairs and their own bathroom - yea! The condo was clean and well furnished with enough space that we felt very comfortable.

It was a little warm on our day of arrival and we appreciated that the unit has two air conditioning units (living area & master bedroom) that worked well. The king mattress downstairs was decent and comfortable. We did cook several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed with the exception of a vegetable peeler. A new non-stick skillet would be a welcome addition as the one there is basically worn out.

The location is great - located in upper Whistler Village where it is quiet yet close enough to walk easily to everything. If you are doing tour activities, most of the tour companies pick-up from the Fairmont hotel right across the street which was very convenient.

We really appreciated the bike storage room and underground, gated parking. We had a terrific time and would book this condo again!

This was the second time my family stayed in this unit and we love it. It's refurbished and we really like the glass panels enclosing the loft which make for a quiet sleeping area for the kids. Our only critique (and this is likely a housekeeping issue) is that the glassware, pots and pans could be cleaner. But we will definitely be back and would recommend this property.

Nice unit - good layout. Large corner bedroom with balcony. Quality mattress and bedding. Well appointed bathrooms - towels clean and in good condition.( could be upgraded.) Have stayed in the building previously and like the mountainside vs courtyard, only drawback is noise from hotel service vehicles ( trash removal & snow clearing).

Comfortable furniture in good condition and gas fireplace gives just right heat. Tasteful decorations. Busy schedule but enjoyed our down time at the condo - felt at home.

Best Place in Upper Village!

I'm a former quarter -share owner in the Upper Village; resident of BC and have been visiting for over 20 years. This condo is the best! The personal decorations embrace the Whistler character. The location is close enough to walk to the Village or take a walk around Lost Lake. The Sunday Farmer's Market is right below you.

You will not want to leave this condo. I know I hope to be lucky enough to be able to return too! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

A few things on upkeep need attention. A number of light bulbs were out, the kitchen drawer while full of items just needs an organizer, and there were no sponges anywhere to be found, even though clear instructions were given as to which sponge was to be used for cleaning certain items.

Great location, good value

We typically stay at the Aspens each year and would consider changing this to stay at this particular condo had it not been for 2 things. The dishwasher definitely needs to be replaced - we had family meet us for several dinners and ended up having to hand wash dishes on at least 5 occasions - the dishes came out dirty every time. A total hassle. The other issue was the internet. At the Aspens you're given a password. You enter this once and don't have to deal with it again - each time you return to the condo it automatically connects you. At Glacier Lodge, you were constantly being kicked off of the network and each time we had to log back on to the WiFi. It was very frustrating for all of us, particularly those of us that needed to check in with work on a regular basis. The front desk couldn't help, nor could the helpline we called. Let us know if these things get resolved, we'll be back for sure. If not, we'll continue to go to the Aspens.

This is the second time we have stayed in this unit:) We love the location, close to the farmers market, kids adventure zone, and gondola. The pool and hot tub area is great and not overly crowded. The unity itself is nice and updated.

It does have a bit lower water pressure. No pot holders and only a few hand clothes/towels in the kitchen. (this is minor stuff and we took along our own this time as we knew about it from our previous stay) we would def. stay here again/recommend it to family/friends:)
