Hi Sue & Martin, many thanks for the use of your condo last week, we had a fantastic time (as always at Whistler) but a big part of this was down to your home. It was ideal for our family of 4 with plenty of room to spread out and the kids certainly liked having a TV in their room. The amenities within the condo were great especially having a well equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer and the boot/glove dryer.

A special thanks to Shirley and her team as the condo was spotless and clean on our arrival and she was very prompt with any enquires we had during our stay. With the recent addition of the Blackcomb gondola the location is ideal ski in / ski out and easy to get out of the base area without having to go over to Whistler base. We would certainly consider staying again in the future and would have no reservations recommending this property for others.

Slopeside spaciousness

What a lovely unit! The top floor location allows for a lofted ceiling, and the living room windows look out onto the forest, feeling so private and woodsy. The built in boot/glove dryer can handle four sets at a time, which was fantastic for getting our stuff ready for the next day! Kitchen was well stocked with equipment we needed for cooking several meals. Huge hot tub in the common area and nice pool. Ski in/out and an easy walk down to the Blackcomb base. Really ideal location!

My only complaint would be that the main source of heat in the living room is the fireplace, and the fan on it was rather noisy, which needed to be running most of the time to keep the unit warm. We had a great stay and will be back again!

REAL SKI-IN/SKI-OUT, Woodrun 614 is slope-side luxury on Blackcomb Mountain near Merlin’s, Monk’s Grill, The Relais Chateau and Chateau Whistler, close to the ski school and kids drop-off and a short gladed walk over our Fitzsimmon’s Creek to the village stroll. The Woodrun lodge is nestled in a fir grove and has a relaxed and quiet ambience that belies its convenient location. FROM THE AIRPORT: Leave the airport on Grant McConachie Way Follow the Highway 99 North, which becomes Granville Street Follow Granville Street north onto the Granville Street Bridge Move to the far right lane of the bridge and take the Seymour Street exit Follow Seymour Street north until Georgia Street Turn left onto Georgia Street through Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate bridge Exit the bridge following the Marine Drive West turnoff Immediately get into the far right lane on Marine Drive Take the first right onto Taylor Way Travel up the hill and turn left onto Highway 1 Follow the signs to Whistler - Highway 99 Sea to Sky Highway - After arriving in Whistler stay on the highway until you reach the Upper Village gate (Lorimer Road) which is the second set of lights after the Main Village Gate entrance from the highway Turn right at the Upper Village gate lights onto Lorimer Road and go straight through all the lights until you reach the end - Blackcomb Way (a T junction). DO NOT TURN LEFT AT THE FIRST SET OF LIGHTS (also Blackcomb way!).
