Whistler Mountain Chalet - Perfect for Families and Groups!

This chalet is perfect for families or groups with spacious, comfortable common spaces and six cozy bedrooms (three with ensuites) for quiet moments.

Great dining room seats everyone for meals and games.  In summer and fall, the large deck is perfect for barbeques and year-round the eight person hot-tub soothes the body after a day of skiing or mountain biking.  The downstairs family bunky has four sets of bunk beds and a 50 inch internet TV and a large assortment of DVD's.  Please note that there is an additional one-time charge of $50 plus tax for each upper bunk.  

The front of the chalet offers views of the runs on Blackcomb Mountain while the back of the chalet has a large, flat private play space backing onto Fitzsimmons Creek.

Enjoy the central location of this wonderful home - an easy 12 minute walk to the village or quick bus/ drive/ ride to the ski lifts and bike park.

The Chalet is our family vacation home and we are constantly making improvements - it gets better and better each year as we renovate and decorate.

Extremely Roomy, Beautiful Home for Large Group

Our stay at Sandra and Cliff's place was absolute perfection from start to finish. Their chalet was even better than advertised!

We were a group of 11 adults- a mix of couples, singles, men and women. There was more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable and the chalet offered varied bedroom layouts so we could adjust for various people's needs. The kitchen was well-stocked for group meals and the bus stop right in front of the house was a game-changer! The hot tub was great after skiing all day and the heated floors downstairs were a fabulous amenity for our cold feet as well :)

The information provided by Sandra leading up to our stay and upon arrival was incredibly thorough and I had no questions or doubts about anything the entire time. She made it easy to navigate the chalet and Whistler as a whole. Everyone in our group agreed that we would love to stay again (if Sandra and Cliff will have us) and would recommend Sandra and Cliff's chalet and hospitality to any other large group looking for a lovely stay.

Great Homey Place

Our 3rd year in Whistler, and so far this is our favorite house. Nice big main area with the living room, kitchen, and dinner area connected. Bit of a walk to the south end of village, but the bus was right outside the house, which was very convenient. Even then, it was a nice stroll if you do want to walk. House was warm, and hot tub was clutch, when it got to 0 degrees during our stay. Planning to come back if possible!

Great Whistler Home

The home is larger than we anticipated. We had 13 adults staying in the home with plenty of room. The bunk room had a lot more room than most rental bunk rooms from other homes we've rented in the past. The kitchen had more than enough dinnerware and glasses for our group to use.

The location is great, only about a 2 minute drive to the Whistler parking lots and the 32 bus stop was literally at the end of the driveway. Overall, a great place! We look forward to the next time we get to stay there!

Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise Please respect our neighbours - extreme noise could result in eviction without reimbursement of remaining rental.
Garbage Removal To be taken accross highway 99 to Nesters garbage and recycling depot.
Housekeeping N/A. Can make seperate arrangements if wanted
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Liability Renter will be liable for all damages. Charges will be taken from credit card on file
Maintenance Emergencies Contact numbers will be posted in Chalet.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 13 people.
Noise Restrictions There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
Property Damage Damage will be charged to guest's credit card on file.

Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!

Good overflow space for the kids with four sets of bunk beds. Adjacent to full bath. This space adds a ton of flexibility for multifamily groups or adult groups with mixed couples and singles. Please note that occupancy can never exceed 14 for adults although extra children may be accepted on a case by case basis. Base rent does not include the four upper bunks. If upper banks are needed and approved, a surcharge of $50 plus tax per bunk will be charged to cover the additional housekeeping and laundry costs.

About Us

We are a North Vancouver based family of five with three active kids.  We purchased the house in December 2012 after having fallen in love with the great communal spaces.  Given the size and layout of the house, we love the ability to invite our extended family and friends to stay with us in wonderful Whistler.  

As our kids play hockey most weekends, the chalet is available for rent during most of the ski season.  We are lucky enough to spend our summers in Whistler enjoying the mountain biking, hiking, lakes and fabulous restaurants.
