Woodhaven 44

We have stayed in this unit a couple of times now for our whole family. It works extremely well, everyone is very comfortable and the amenities inside the unit are excellent. The location for skiing in and skiing out is also very very good. We will continue to book this unit in future years.

We had a fabulous time here, would thoroughly recommend for ski hols, close to lifts in morning and ski to door at the end of the day. A great selection of rooms and amenities. Lovely kitchen/dining/lounge. Amazing hot tub, home-from-home vibes

Once again we had a wonderful experience staying at Woodhaven 44. It suits our family wellvery clean,comfortable and great location for skiing,sledding etc.Ed is very good to communicate with and responds quickly. Thanks for providing an opportunity for special family memories.

This is our 2nd stay at Woodhaven #44. We deferred 1-year due to COVID-19. Ed's been very accommodating to his guests for travel changes for 2021/22. Woodhaven #44 has been perfect for a large group and the rooms set-up for bedrooms and bathrooms have been excellent. From drying hooks for towels to ski gear in the garage and even the laundry room for large groups. WiFi was easy to access and set-up for TV's/videos was easy. The kitchen is fully stocked for clean pots/pans/trays/coffee & even spices and such. The clean-up list was simple to check-out and I hope we left Woodhaven #44 in the same condition as when we checked-in. My only hesitation for not recommending this property is for our group not being able to re-book next season!

The unit was excellent, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Everything was perfect as usual. Hot tub was clean and hot. The ski in and out is much easier than it used to be. Ed is responsive to questions and instructions are easy to understand.

Once again we had a great time at this place.The setup suits our family so well.Ed was very kind to let us know that we could extend our departure time.and we really appreciated that. We hope to return next year.

We love the location and accessibility to lifts. The size was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for the kids to have their own space Lots of natural light. Would stay there again.

Great place to stay in Sun Peaks. Easy ski in and ski out, lots of bedrooms and room for people to spread out. Highly recommend.

Overall it was a very enjoyable stay, unit was clean and well equipped (we could use more wine glasses; our group enjoys sipping wines). Ed tried hard to fix the hot tub issue, but things get broken and it is nobody's fault. The skiing (in & out) was excellent. Thanks for your hospitality.

We have rented this place several times and it has been fantastic for our family! There is 10 of us and the accommodations meet are needs. The ski in/ski out is great ( Especially with the new chair!). The master bed is so comfortable! The owners are very responsive and accommodating. We will be back!

Woodhaven - I always ask people who have travelled to a destination that I have not been to, "Would you go back ?.... Yes or No ? .... You can get a feel from the speed and tone of their response. Well when it comes to Sun Peaks and the home at #4* Woodhaven, It's a sharp and fast.....YES, YES, YES

My family and I (Seven adults in total) just spent the best 12 nights at Woodhaven Jan/Feb 2020. The home was all it was described as and more. Ed is the best communicator out there and we didn't have a single issue with anything.

We all had plenty of space, heaps of bathrooms, a very well stocked kitchen and all the modern touches you expect (Cable TV, Hot tub, Garage etc etc) So many little things, too many to list that made the stay comfortable from the outset. The home was so well provisioned. Ski in/Ski out .... way to easy... Down to the Orient Quad or Morrisey chair in the morning and I loved the " East Village Ski Way" run at the end of the day, straight back to the house.

Resort shuttle all day if you don't like the "Village Way" walk through the trees (So pretty) and even an evening shuttle service for dinners out in the village. Great village also. As nice as it is to be home safe after a great family holiday, we have all been saying how much we are missing it !To me that speaks highly as to how comfortable we all were and how much fun we had.

We had a great stay ! Beds were comfortable and suited our families with 5children. Accommodation was very clean. Supplies were appreciated.Sleds and foozball table were a bonus. Thanks again Ed.We hope to come back again next year.

Really enjoyed our week at Sun Peaks and the apartment was just right for our group of eleven made up of teenagers, young adults and us oldies. Really well provisioned and though snug with 11, no complaints. Easy ski in and out. Apartment very clean and the owners very helpful. Highly recommended.

Just had a great weekend here. This unit has everything you need and more in the kitchen. Also, the kids really appreciated the train set and books to read! Lots of room for our small group - kids had their space and the adults had our own. Thank you!

We have going to sun peaks since 2003 ,This is my favorite townhouse ! the location cant be beat for the ski in and out , the heated floors were awesome and the condition of the property was 5 star ! I had a few questions an the owner responded very fast . We will rent this unit again for next year thanks ED

This was our second year staying at this property. We appreciate the extra space compared to some Sun Peaks rentals and enjoy staying with family/friends. The new lift made this location even easier to ski in/ski out. Lots of blue runs in the vicinity. Already booked for 2020. Thank you Ed!

Words truly cannot explain how amazing this home is! We shared this place with another family and had an amazing time making memories and relaxing! This place had everything we needed and more! The ski in and ski out access is fantastic and the home was everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation.

Mr. Wiens was fantastic with responding to all my questions and concerns and returned the refundable deposit immediately after we completed our stay. We were so blessed to have this experience. Thank you so very much!

Woodhaven delivered everything it promised, providing comfortable accommodation for our large family group. The owner, Ed, was quick to respond to a power issue & we were all impressed with the ski in/out access. Skier access to the village lifts is greatly enhanced by the new Orient lift nearby. The condo may seem a distance from the village but in reality is only a 12 min walk along a pretty pathway through the forest.

We highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to accommodate a big group. Thanks Ed.

Have stayed here multiple times. The layout is great, sleeps multiple people easily. With the new lift, makes it an even better ski in/ski out location. The only issue we had was that we found the mattresses a bit hard.

Our family had a wonderful stay here! The pictures are accurate and the owners were so lovely. The location can't be beat. A short 1 min walk to the run that takes you right onto Morrisey and Orient lifts and a lovely ski home. We couldn't have chosen a better place. Our kids had such a good time and we can't wait to come back next year!

We are regular renters in the Sun Peaks area, and we have rented many different units up there over many years. We would definitely recommend this property and we would definitely choose this one to stay at again! we had a group of 6 people, and we were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, lots of towels and the unit was clean. the location is fabulous, close to everything.

We did have a couple of maintenance issues which we contacted the manager about, and he and the owners went well above and beyond to correct the issues and compensate us for any inconvenience. We did not expect the owners and the manager to go to that extent to make things right, and for that, we will definitely be coming back to this property.

Great place for both cross country and downhill skiing. We had 3 families stay here quite comfortably. You're right next to the trailhead for the cross country trails and the ski access to the Morrissey lift was easy. This place had the fanciest hot tub we've ever seen - it was lovely. Overall, we had a great trip and the condo was great. We'd come again for sure.

We had a great time at Sun Peaks over the long weekend. The condo was perfect for our group, and more affordable than most of the other properties at Sun Peaks. Ed promptly returned the $500 damage deposit once I inquired about it.

This was our 2nd year staying at Woodhaven and it is always a pleasure to stay here! Unfortunately next year already booked due the change in family weekend! So disappointed! It was perfect for our family of 10. Great location for skiing in and out. The owners are accommodating and always respond to emails in a timely manner. We will miss not staying there for family day 2019!

Our family of 10 stayed here for 5 nights in January 2018. We had plenty of room/space to have family dinners or escape to a quiet area of the house.

There are four bathrooms so even with 10 people this never became a problem. The hottub was large, clean and functioned perfectly. The ski in ski out was great for us and very quiet while being only a 10-15 min walk from the Village. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen we have seen in our past 10 years of vacationing in Sun Peaks. The garage was a plus as we could all go get our gear on in the garage without overheating and cluttering up the main living area. We parked one vehicle at P5 so we were able to do this. We would have liked to be able to enjoy the deck but it was waist deep in snow except for the BBQ area.

Thanks so much to the owners and we will be staying here again if we have a party of 10!

We were very impressed with this townhome. It was very accommodating for two families. We loved the heated floors and hot tub. Access to the Morrissey lift was a bit exhausting, but we sure enjoyed to ski home at the end of the day. It was scenic, easy and we skied straight to the door.

Great unit, similar to many of the other town houses at Sun Peaks and with the same ski-in/ski-out via the Morissey Express. Owners very responsive, called us back 3 minutes after we emailed with a wifi login question.

We have been coming to Sun Peaks with our adult children the last 5 years! Got married at the chapel last year! We stayed at the owners other property last year which was amazing! I was slow renting this year but lucky to book their other property at Woodhaven. Fantastic location to ski in to Morrisey! It met all our needs! The accommodations were perfect for us!! Very cosy, nice interior design, huge rooms, more then enough space for every occasion. Owner Ed super friendly and really nice person. Outstanding place for money value we paid. Will come back without any hasitation! Thank you for perfect vocation stay!!!

This, Woodheaven , is a very nice townhouse, spacious, cozy and very clean. It is perfect for 5 couples. The living room/dining area/ kitchen are suitable for group of this size. Ed, the owner, was very courteous at all time. For those willing to go for walks only, the trails were very well maintained. Easy access to the slopes for those interested in skiing.

Great home and plenty of space for our two families. Heated floors were very nice. Ski in/out was easy to find but easier for skiiers than snow boarders due to couple flat sections on run.

Overall very happy with our stay. The place was clean and felt very comfortable.

Had some issues with the front door lock and the garage door handle that left us locked out for 45 mins, but after finding the pool maintenance guy and borrowing his screw driver so I could remove the door handle and put it back in a temporary fashion so we could use the door, it was fine. Once we got back in I was able to call the maintenance company and they came first thing the following morning to repair it. The only other thing was we had hoped for was the Cappuccino machine that was advertised, but the machine was not there.

I would certainly stay again! Thanks for being attentive to my emails upon arrival regarding a few minor issues.

The condo was fantastic. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. Loved it here. Also - gorgeous location/ The view of the mountain is perfect.

Woodhaven is a great place for a larger group of 10 or so. It is a cosy place with a great kitchen and big dining table. We loved the many games and DVD's there for kids old and young.

We were pleasantly surprised that ski-in and ski-out were so easy. We gave cleanliness a medium grade for the dust in the corners/top of the fridge, etc, but overall there was no issue. The outdoor light by the hot tub area was also burned out. The BBQ was very clean which was very nice.

Have been traveling to Sun Peaks for at least 15 years. Over that time stayed in dozens of accomadations on the mountain. Loved the kitchen in this unit. One of the best ski-in locations. Would stay again.

Everything was as described in the ad and our families enjoyed our stay. The owners had a number of videos toys and games available to keep our young ones occupied during our stay and both owners gave us a call shortly after our stay started to make sure we had everything we needed. All considered I would recommend this rental property to friends. The only reason to not give full stars was due to there being no paper towel and not enough dishwasher soap.

We had a wonderful stay at your home. Relaxing and spacious. It was exactly how you described, easy access to ski in and ski out. We appreciated all of the supplies and how well the kitchen was stocked with utensils,pots etc. The garage was an added bonus to hang up all of our gear after a day out on the slopes. If I could add a couple of negatives things that were not too serious- it could use a good clean, very dusty, cobwebs, juice splatter on kitchen wall etc. (minor details and I know it is a busy time for people coming and going with quick turn arounds) Also the dryer takes a long time for one load of towels. The kids were not crazy about the feel of a jean duvet cover, or micro fibre , but I would say that might just be preference and we took them off while we were there. We would definitely rent this unit again, thank you :)

We have rented alot of townhomes in sun peaks, several times in woodhaven and this was one of the best. Very helpful and available owner, very well equipped home (even had a decorated Christmas tree!). Clean, everything working. Prompt return of damage deposit. Would definitely rent again. " This house is one of the best on the mountain. The layout is perfect for big groups or small families. There is a tremendous sense of light and space, but also privacy from every angle. We were in a Kamloops for a family wedding, five families rented houses all over Sun Peaks, and this is the one that wowed them. We hosted big dinner parties, a family brunch for 20, and slept 4 couples comfortably, each with a private bedroom, including a lovely private bedroom/bathroom in the basement. The house is easy to maintain, solid rock, wood, and glass, comfy, has lots of closet space and is well supplied. We'd come back in a heartbeat for ski season! " Helen, Ottawa, Sept 2014
