We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to book this apartment again. The apartment was very clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with many essentials and the good quality cookware and sharp knives were much appreciated.
Arrival instructions were clear and check in was easy. Access to both the Morrisey and Orient chairlifts was very convenient as was the ski home. It was great to be able to store our skis in the locker right outside our front door and the hot tub is a great way to relax at the end of the day.
Cate responded quickly to any questions we had and it was helpful to know she was available in case we needed anything. We recommend shopping for groceries in Kamloops but also found the Bluebird Market was well stocked. It was a nice level walk into the village centre or you could catch the shuttle which stopped outside the Stones Throw Complex.View Full Review

A FREE SCHUTTLE BUS SERVICE is provided (during the main ski season). It runs from the Burfield Lodge to the Sun Peaks Village to Parking Lot 5 (via the Village Drive) back to the Village and Burfield Lodge. It makes stops along Village Drive (which the road just outside our unit) in both directions to pick up any passengers who waves down the schuttle. Just walk along the 'pathway' (which is just outside our front door) onto Village Drive and wave down the schuttle which usually comes by 25 minutes and 55 minutes after the hour. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|COVID Contact Tracing Requirements||The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.|
|COVID Maximum Guest Limitation||The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.|
|Excessive Noise||Excessive noise which disturbs others in the building between the hours of 10:30pm and 8:00am is prohibited according to strictly enforced strata bylaws. You will get evicted without a refund!|

Our ground floor corner unit, which is all one level, is extremely accessable! You'll have absolutely no stairs to climb from the baggage drop area, which literally just steps from the front door, and within the unit. The front porch is flanked by a private lockable ski storage on the left and a lockable bicycle storage on the right. The front door leads into the spacious main foyer, an ample closet and a coat rack.
The open concept kitchen leads to the dining and living areas and is perfect for entertaining. Granite counter tops outline the fully equipped kitchen. The dining room can seat six at the dining table and three more at the kitchen counter. The living room is graced with a beautiful fireplace, a comfortable pull out sofa and a love seat and has access to the private deck/hot tub area.
Your own personal retreat, the master bedroom has a full ensuite bath, queen bed, two convenient closets and is accessible to the private deck/hot tub. The second bedroom has a queen/twin bunk, a very spacious closet and has a full bath across the hall.
A large washer and dryer is in the laundry room which is located just off the kitchen.

We were born, raised and live in Hawaii. While we do enjoy the sand, surf and sun, we also enjoy winter sports, especially skiing! We've been skiing since the mid 1970's and our three children grew up looking forward to their Christmas and Spring breaks so they could go skiing or snow boarding. We've been to ski resorts in Michigan, California, Utah, Colorado, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. When we first arrived at Sun Peaks in 2005, we were very impressed with the snow quality, the reasonable prices, the lack of crowds, the relaxed pace, the cozy village, the friendliness of the people and the fact that the altitude won't kill you.
We feel extremely blessed to have purchased our unit at Stone's Throw. This is really a home away from home for us and we would like you to feel that it's also your second home.
