Excellent stay in Whistler

I recently stayed three weeks at this property and was very happy with it. The room was neat, clean and tidy and the bed was fantastic. No problems sleeping, and there was also no noise from outside due to its location. The property is close to all facilities and the free shuttle bus stop is a two minute walk. I also enjoyed the outdoor spa after a hard day of skiing.

It was a pleasure dealing with the owners, as they were very responsive to any emails I sent them. The front desk staff and room service staff were also pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Alpenglow is located on Main Street near Northlands Boulevard (click on map below and locate the red X), in Whistler Village North. Just steps to the shops, restaurants, valley trail, parks, lakes and alpine lifts! *Blackcomb Base: less than 10 minute walk *Whistler Village Base: less than 10 minute walk. *Parks and Lakes: less than 10 minute walk. Click on the map image area to zoom in! Alternatively, you can walk 300 feet to the free shuttle that operates from 6:15 am until 1:00 am daily and be whisked in minutes to the Whistler & Blackcomb Gondola bases. The shuttle operates on a 5-15 minute frequency. Rates are per night for up to 2 occupants and quoted in CDN $ subject to 5% GST.  As this is an owner-direct booking, the 10.5% hotel tax is not applicable. We accept payment by Visa or MasterCard. Suitable For:

Adults - Min Age to Stay: 21 21 years of age. The member of the party who is making the reservation must be at least 21 years of age with a valid credit card and will be held responsible for the rest of the group. We reserve the right to ask for ID when you check in to ensure that the age requirement has been met. Any reservation made under false pretences will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, and the party will not be permitted to check in and/or the party will be required to vacate the property. All additional charges and payment will be the responsibility of the client should they need to move to another property.

Policies

We do not charge a damage deposit and trust you to treat our home as if it were your own. By booking with us you are deemed to have accepted these policies and you grant us authority to charge your credit card up to $500 for damage, lost items or late departure. You will be consulted before any such action. We require that you fax or mail us a signed copy of our policies to complete your reservation. 

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposit payment non-refundable. Balance of payment is refundable, less 5% transaction fees, if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we replace your booking. These refunds are issued the first day of your (cancelled) arrival where applicable.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for arrival delays.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information E-mailed upon receipt of balance of payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract When you book online, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment, you agree to pay us for all damages you incur.
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guests also agree to not use Owner or Contact personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Owners and their Contact.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Bikes must not be taken into the elevators. A locked bike storage cage is available in the parking garage for use by all apartments in our development. Bikes may be secured to racks installed in the cage but you will need to provide your own locking equipment.
Check-In Time 4:00pm. An earlier check-in may be possible if we are not booked the night before - please check with us 1 or 2 days before your arrival date
Check-Out Time 10:00am. You will be charged $50 if our cleaners arrive and you are still in our home.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise Please be considerate of our neighbours. Excessive noise is not permitted. Occupants may be evicted without a refund subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for damages resulting from the noise complaints.
Garbage Removal Please do not leave garbage in our home when you check out. Remove all garbage to the garbage room located in the parking garage
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
Locking Door Please keep the doors and windows locked while away from our home. You are responsible for ensuring our property is secure when you check out.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hr service. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 2 people overnight unless prior approval is obtained from the owners. Excess occupants will result in eviction.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Noise Restrictions Noise heard by guests in other properties is not permitted after 10 pm. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for damages resulting from the noise complaints.
Parking & Ticketing Gated parking is available for a fee. Parking tickets may be purchased from a machine that accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property, missing garage key, and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises
Rental Accommodation Zoning Our property is legally zoned for short term rental accommodation use.
Terms of Eviction Smoking, excessive noise, threat of common or private property damage, disturbing the peace; excess of 2 overnight occupants without our permission. You will be evicted for excessive noise, property damage or disturbing the peace

Guarantees Policies

Reservation Guarantee Property Damage - We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
