Welcome to our beautiful ski in/ski out vacation home; The Fairways at Stone's Throw in Sun Peaks! NEW for 2018/ out DIRECTLY to the main village, on a green trail from the top of the new Orient chairlift scheduled to open mid-December!

At The Fairways, you'll wake up in your king size bed to enjoy the spectacular views of Tod Mountain from the master bedroom. You can continue to enjoy these views from the breakfast bar between the kitchen and the main living area, while you eat your pre-ski breakfast. Then, put on your gear...because your backyard is the Morrisey Connector run, which takes you downhill, under the skier underpass right to the Morrisey Express chair (SOON also the Orient Express!) to start your day.

At the end of the day, ski right back to your door via the Rambler - East Village Ski Way - Fair Dinkum off the Sundance Chair and relax in your private hot tub all the while taking in the beautiful vistas that surround you. This property is true ski-in/ski-out. Access to The Golf Course at Sun Peaks Resort is just as simple, as The Fairways is located right on the 16th hole of the course! After a day of skiing, golfing, hiking or biking, you can take a short, 10-minute walk to the Village on the Valley Trail, or, enjoy a quiet dinner at home followed by your favourite movie on the 55-inch Smart TV with six speaker surround sound..complete with Netflix and TELUS HDTV.

Our spacious two bedroom, two bathroom home features a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, twin-over-queen bunk beds in the second bedroom, heated tile floors throughout, a soaker tub in the master ensuite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with granite surfaces, quaint breakfast bar, cozy gas fireplace, full HD cable with a 55 inch Smart TV in the great room and a 42 inch Smart TV in the second bedroom for the kids, secure wireless internet, a private hot tub, BBQ, washer/dryer, games, movies, books, spectacular views and so much more!

Sorry, NO pets and NO smoking...strictly enforced.

Great unobstructed view of the green ski slopes. We would love to see this in winter. Accommodation was very comfortable & had everything we needed. We loved the alpine flowers in July. We tried the XC bike trails & the new downhill beginners trail - lots of fun! Hope to return in the snow with the family!

Great Family Townhouse

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) had a lovely stay here for a weekend over the summer. The townhouse is very clean and fully stocked. The location is great and it was wonderful that our kids could play out back safely since everything is on the ground level.

The communication with the owners was excellent and they responded to any questions very quickly. Highly recommend this to any family with kids looking to stay in Sun Peaks!

Stone's Throw is located on Valley Drive immediately past the Mount Morrisey lift and just over the skiers' underpass. It is located on the 16th hole of the golf course - across the fairway from the Morrisey Connecter. Take HWY 5 (Jasper Hwy) from Kamloops. Follow it for about 14 kilometers. Turn right at Sun Peaks sign. Turn left immediately. Follow Sun Peaks road for 31 kilometers into the village. Turn right at the stop sign. This is Valley Drive. It winds its way uphill for less than 1 minute to Stone's Throw complex.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed a few days before arrival.
Cancellations Made by Guests If cancellation is done up to 14 days after booking - are subject to #$25.00 administration fee. Cancellation after 14 days up to 45 days prior to arrival, you will forfeit the first night's deposit. Any cancellation inside of 45 days of arrival, you will forfeit the full reservation total unless unit is rebooked for the original dates. In that case only the original deposit will be forfeited.

Delivery of Instructions and Access Information We will email you detailed instructions approximately one week in advance of your stay.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.

Property Details

The Fairways at Stone's Throw is located on the Morrisey Connector ski run and the 16th fairway of The Golf Course at Sun Peaks Resort. You will note the spaciousness created by the open plan and the nine foot ceilings. When you walk into the entranceway you will find hooks for your outer clothing, special racks for your skis/boards, and a bench for boot removal. The tiling here is heated. As you proceed down the hallway you will find the second bedroom with its Queen/Twin wood bunk bed, dresser, TV, and DVD player on your right. Then, on your left you will note the main full bathroom. Your next right will lead you to the granite countered kitchen. Its noted features include dark brown cabinetry, heated tile flooring, and pendant lights over the bar. From the kitchen you will overlook the Great Room. First the dining room with its dark brown wood table which can seat all seven of your family and friends. Next you’ll see the living room with its sectional sofa bed and 55" flat screen Smart TV over the beautiful stone fireplace. Finally, the glorious views of the golf course and Tod Mountain. Across from the entrance to the kitchen you will enter the master bedroom. The full master ensuite is noted for its soaker tub with shower, heated tile floors and full sized stacking washer and dryer. From the hot tub on the covered patio (accessed by sliding doors from both the master bedroom and from the great room) you'll have unobstructed views of the Morrisey Connector, the 16th fairway of the golf course and the spectacular Tod Mountain. Plus, a BBQ has been added for the 2017/2018 season!

Living Area

The spacious living room has both a huge opening window which takes advantage of the spectacular views and a sliding door leading to the partially covered deck and hot tub. Relax in comfort in the sectional and enjoy your favourite movie on the 55-inch flat screen Smart TV with six-speaker surround sound over the rustic stone fireplace.

Dining Area

Spacious dining room as part of the great room can comfortably hold a 72" long table. It has 6 chairs but with the leafs in place it can comfortably seat all guests. There are 3 stools at the granite bar. The wood trim of the dining room suite carries through the lodge like theme of our home.

Special Features

The Fairways at Stone's Throw is a luxurious 2 bedroom true ski in/ski out condo located on the Morrisey Connector. (Lift tickets are available at the Mount Morrisey lift.)

The stone fireplace hosts a 55-inch flat screen Smart TV above the mantle. The fully equipped kitchen which overlooks the great room and encompasses the spectacular views of Tod Mountain has granite counter tops, dishwasher and an ice maker in the refrigerator.

The master bedroom has a king size bed ideal for the tired skier and the second bedroom with its twin-over-queen bunk is equipped with the second TV and XBOX game system to enable the kids an escape to privacy.

The master ensuite contains a soaker tub with shower and a stacking full sized washer and dryer. This luxurious condo is located at the edge of the 16th fairway of The Golf Course at Sun Peaks Resort.

About Us


We are Holley & James Steller. We live in Washington State on beautiful Whidbey Island where I run another vacation rental that overlooks the Strait of San Juan de Fuca. 

As a family, we fell in love with Sun Peaks years ago and have never looked back! In particular, we fell in love with the Stone's Throw complex, because of the spectacular views and absolute best ski in and ski out access on the mountain. We love the area, the people and the phenomenal SNOW conditions!
