On Sat., Sun. & Mon. throughout the winter season, a free shuttle bus service picks up out front Woodhaven every 20 minutes from 8:15 am until 12:00 noon, and then again from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Extended services during holiday seasons. Check with Guest Services in the Main Day Lodge for changes to this schedule.

|Garbage Removal||Please remove your own garbage. Sun Peaks offers a conveniently located municipal waste transfer site by the Firehall. Turnoff at the Burfield Chairlift.|

Hello and let me introduce ourselves....we are Jacquie, Celine and Dave and we LOVE SNOW!!! Between us we love to x-country ski, downhill ski, snowboard, iceskate, go sledding, have snowball fights and best of all - make snow angels, so we are all very excited about purchasing our new home at Woodhaven in Sun Peaks. We have been owners at Sun Peaks since 2003 and found that we love it so much that it was time to upgrade to bigger, newer, ski in/ski out home. Besides snow, we also love to travel and were able to take our trip of a lifetime in the summer of 2003. This was 98 days in Europe. We researched and booked it almost exclusively through the Internet. We feel that through our travels, we have gained a huge understanding of what people desire in a home away from home and have put this knowledge to use in our Sun Peaks accommodation. Thank you for visiting our website and we hope that we are able to host your Sun Peaks vacation.

we really enjoyed the townhome over the holiday's. Great separation between floors and having the hot tub on the bottom floor was great. Nice to have a garage and the kitchen was well equipped and laid out. Very nice place.
This townhouse was very well layed out, giving 7 of us privacy over three floors yet having the open kitchen/dining/living room plan that brought everyone together. This is a cozy well appointed newer townhouse decorated with warm colours and heat controls everywhere including the floors. Very practical to come and go with all the ski gear right from the heated garage. Ski in/out was also very easy. This place suited us very well and it was always nice to look forward to relaxing here at the end of a ski day. Small details to consider: no soap bars in the showers, no shovel to clear the patio to BBQ, pull-out sofa bed on the lower floor was not comfortable.
We stayed in the Cattanach condo in Woodhaven at Sunpeaks. It has every amenity a place can offer including a full kitchen, patio, several bathrooms comfortable beds and hot tub. We found it an easy walk to the village and much quieter than staying right beside all of the other businesses. We also saw the ski in ski out was managable and that the condo would allow us to stay comfortably with another family if we were to travel with guests.
We stayed at the Woodhaven townhouse for eight days in July 2012. Everything about this property was perfect for us (two couples), on arrival everything was very clean and tidy. It was well equiped with good quality equipment, the kitchen had everything you would want, and more, for self catering. The beds were very comforatble, with plenty wardrobe space and the bathrooms had plenty of extra towels. After a day of hiking the hot tub was very welcoming, this also was superclean and well maintained. Sun Peaks is fantastic, a lovely compact alpine style village without the crowds. There are many hikes a short distance from the property and the Todd Mountain chair lift is very useful for exploring the higher walking trails. An added pleasure of the chair lift was watching the mountain bikers speed down the tracks and the bears munching on the grassy slopes. In the village there are many bars and restaurants, but we were so comfortable eating in the condo that we preferred an early evening drink in a bar and then return to the condo for a BBQ. The owners were excellent to deal with and I would thoroughly recommend this property.
The property was nice and in a fairly good location for the ski runs. We were upset that the hot-tub was out of action for the 1st of our two night stay. On speaking to the owners they were aware that this was likely to be the case, but didn't inform us and told us it's 'one of those things'. This isn't good customer service, especially when a private hot tub was a major factor in choosing this property. We wouldn't fault the property, but we wouldn't recommend it, due to the poor attitude of the owners.
We loved staying here. It was extremely comfortable and homey. There was everything we needed. The home was clean, and we were impressed at how well the hot tub was maintained while we were there. We loved Sun Peaks, and enjoyed being able to ski almost right to our door. We also enjoyed going to the spa, and walking around the village. The people there were very friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful Spring Break holiday for our family.
We had a wonderful time at the Cattanach vacation home, a home away from home. There were six of us, five adults and a nine year old. The DVD library was quite extensive (something for everyone)and the kitchen well equipped. The furnishings were very comfy and we loved the decor. Unfortunately, we did not bring any soap or shampoo as previous places we had been in at Sun Peaks had soap and shampoo. So, it would have been nice to have. But, that is the only thing we can think of. Everything else was fantastic. We thank the Cattanach's for sharing this terrific place with us. Sincerely, Jacquie Woo

This was a very beautiful and welcoming home to spend a ski holiday with our grown family. Easy access to the lifts and ski in at the end of the day or for lunch is a great feature. We so enjoyed the quiet and the hot tub at the end of each of our 6 great ski days, We had fresh snow at the beginning blue sky's and more fresh snow to end off the trip. Lots of great terrain to ski for all levels of skiers. This home is a great place to stay allowing 3 couples to have complete sleeping privacy each with their own complete bathroom.A very well equipped kitchen for cooking all our meals at home relaxing after a full day of skiing. Plenty for great concert Dvd's and movies to enjoy in the evening. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great ski getaway. It felt like our home away from home.
What a amazing place, from the minute I walked in I felt right at home, everything is so warm and lovely. There isn't anything missing, so many added special touches. I love how you can just ski out and in for lunch if you wish and to enjoy that wonderful hot tub after a day of skiing just heavenly. Thank you Jacquie and Dave for sharing such a incredible place! I will never forget the Sun Peaks experience!!!
Although I was the only non-skier of the bunch I found there was lots to keep me entertained during the day while the others took to the newly powdered slopes. The accomodations were beautiful, tastefully decorated and very clean. I would highly recommend this rental home.
This condo is excellent - very well appointed with everything one could want , great for families to groups of 4 to 5 people. The sound system is exceptional and has ipod hook up, Covered garage access is a real plus when it is minus whatever and snowing . Snow clearing every morning after a snowfall. Ski out to Moressey is maybe 3 minutes after a short walk across the road - ski in right to the door in new snow ! 15/20 minutes to walk to the village but only a minute or two by car. I would highly recommend # 25 Woodhaven. We will return.
Hi Everyone! We are the Coleman family - Steve, Rowena, Elise (21), Matt (20), Kristy-Lee (Matt's girlfriend) & Liam (14) We come from the land down-underwhere the temperatures are a sweltering 40C at the moment (seeing it is minus 20C here - that is 60 degrees of separation!) We love Sun Peaks & visit every 2-3 years alternating with other resorts in USa/Canada but we keep coming back as it is our favorite to ski. Here are my tips: Make friends with Bill & Mike, the bus drivers, as they will drive you right to the door if you smile nicely. Especially handy with groceries in tow. Best Runs: Morissey: I love "I Dunno" & "Second Growth", but anything with powder on it is great. Also you must visit static cling as the views are amazing! Sundance: Lonesome fir glades which is off "Homesteader" or "3 Bears" on a powder day. Mt. Tod: The Cahilty trees are great, "Cruiser", "Blazer". The boys love Cruiser trees or the trees between hidden valley and Burfield chair (too hairy for me!) Our other favorites are "Spillway" and "Juniper Ridge" on a bluebird day. When there is no powder left, head for Kookamungas it is always full of powder.) Actually every run is good & all runs are different in different conditions. They boys had fun making jumps out the back and the toboganning was hilarious! We went to Kamloops to watch a Blazers ice hockey match - talk about a rough game!! We are well known at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Shop & you must ask for a "frequent fatties" card as it all adds up! Best Cafe is Balacco's. Conrad serves a wicked carametl latte & serves the freshes apple strudel. On New Year's Eve, the kids did the flame descent down Sundance, & the fireworks over the snow were magical. On Christmas Eve we saw 2 wild deer on a But the best secret of all, you already know & that is 25 Woodhaven. Thank you Jacquie & Dave for putting up the Christmas tree and lights & the place was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
This 3 level executive style townhouse is in a perfect location at Sun Peaks to ski in/out and just a short jaunt to the village. It has a heated garage so very easy to come in from your winter activities and leave all your gear in a safe place to dry off. We've stayed in this unit several times...it's very spacious with lots of room to relax. There's a beautiful open kitchen, dining and living room on the main level with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well equipped and a perfect setup whether you're staying a weekend, month or longer! On the lower level outside is the hot tub...we know this is an important feature after a day of skiing, snowshoeing or sledding. Our stay at Jacquie & Dave's ski home in Woodhaven at Sun Peaks was absolutely perfect. The only problem we had was leaving...we didn't want to go home!
We loved this vacation rental. We have rented many calets at ski resorts and this was one of the best. Clean, well equipped and very welcoming. We loved the heated floors and the Dvd's left by the owner. A large basement for teenagers to have their own space if friends come over. We also loved that the location is easy access to both downhill and cross country ski trails. I highly recommend this place.
