Location

Nestled just across from the base of Morrisey mountain lift and runs, and facing Mr. Tod and the village runs, Stone’s Throw is only a 12 minute walk to the Village, a little less to the skating rink and swimming pool. A true SKI-IN/SKI-OUT, you ski from your front door down to the Morrisey lift to get the fresh runs before people from the village arrive. Then you ski home from the top of the Sun Dance chair to the 5 Morrisey connector runs (Carpe Diem, Ca ma fait plaisir, Fair Dinkum, Czech, Ausfahrt), one of which is groomed every day. This connects you to the 16th green right in front of our unit. Free shuttle bus can also take you anywhere on the mountain. Enjoy!

Travel Reseller Bookings - no Referral Fee offered We gratefully accept & invite travel re-seller, tour operator and 3rd party bookings. We do not pay a commission on the posted rate. Please invoice the Guest directly and independently to include your fee.

Pets Sorry we can't accept pets because of allergies. No pets allowed. No exceptions. Guest liable for costs of special cleaning, including carpets, if housekeeping staff detect any presence of pets in the property.

Reservations are not held without payment. Please confirm your reservation by clicking Reserve Now . Site takes live reservations 24/7 and is operated on a first come basis. Holiday & Boxing Week, Presidents Week, Ice Wine Weekend and Spring Break fill up early so plan to make reservation early.

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable except if bookings can be replaced . Refunds or portions thereof will be refunded based on the number of nights rebooked.
Delayed Arrivals No Refunds . We are not responsible for delayed arrivals
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Resort Information, arrival/check-in instructions with coded access info will be sent upon final payment . The door code will be set to what ever code you want and be deleted when you depart.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by the due dates will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.

Parking & Ticketing There are two spaces reserved for our unit, number 18. Please ensure that you and your guests park in the assigned parking stalls ONLY. There are a few stalls reserved for visitors as well. Violators will be towed according to the strata corp.

Excessive Noise Excessive noise from Hot Tub is not permitted after 11:00 PM . Tub may be used after 11:00 PM but please engage in quiet conversation.
Garbage Removal Please make sure your garbage/reccyclables are bagged up and left inside, beside your front door. To have it collected, take the “yellow star” by the front door and hang it onto a hook, to display in the front door window before 9am. It will be collected on Tues. and Fri. You must not leave it outside overnight: Bears—Sun Peaks will fine you... See information included at time of booking. It can also be dropped off near the Burfield Chair if you have excess.
Housekeeping Complimentary before arrival and complimentary midstay cleans provided for bookings of eight or more days. We have retained a local CANADIAN reliable, property management team. But occasionally mistakes happen. If for some reason the unit has not been cleaned before your arrival at 4:00 PM, or by 8:00 PM, we will credit you with one night's stay. The property will be promptly cleaned the next day. In the event of a housekeeping emergency, there is a complete set of clean linens accessible within the property.
Liability Owners are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests, or guests of guests while on our property or at any location at Sun Peaks resort.
Locking Door Keyless access code: pull in on door as you punch it in or batteries may not be strong enough to work... Guests are required to securely lock all doors and entrances when they are not in the unit or upon departure.
Maintenance Emergencies Complete emergency contacts provided upon final payment . Call our Property Manager: 250/319-5680.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity Eight. Will be evicted if more than eight persons occupy this unit.
Missing Items The guest will be charged for any missing items via credit card deduction.
Property Damage In event of property damage, the guest authorizes payment of up to $550 CDN on their credit card. Damage includes but not restricted to: noise complaints, damage within the unit or property, lost, broken or missing common or private property items, smoking in the unit, pets inside unit and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding guest behavior while on property
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Smoking in the unit, pets in the unit, underage renters, excessive noise after 10pm, drunk or disorderly conduct in the townhouse or the property, evidence of common or private property damage, disturbing the peace, excess of 9 overnight occupants, complaints received concerning renter behavior. Payment is non refundable if guests are evicted.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.

 Local Tips

Get your major food supplies in Kamloops at Costco, Super Store, Safeway, etc before coming up the mountain. There are limited food supplies on the mountain if you run short and we have a new small grocery store in the Village. Plan ahead as it is limited. Also, Costco sells Sun Peaks ski passes at a discount . You might take note that all major ski resorts sell discount tickets in the local Costco, etc. The savings are very good.

Don’t Forget Fill up your gas tank in Kamloops before you arrive. Nearest gas is 31 km away.
How to ski with Nancy Greene Olympic champion? Meet her most days at 1pm at the top of the Sundance Express.

 About Us

Mary and I skied many years at Whistler and other resorts.  We find Sun Peaks to be a delight in comparison.  The snow is powder dry, there are no huge line ups, grooming is excellent. Also, you don’t need a car to enjoy your stay. There is a shuttle to bring you from the airport. The four lane highway from Vancouver to Kamloops is all-season and the drive is 4 hours. Our unit on the 16th hole of the golf course is a TRUE SKI-IN/SKI-OUT unit, unlike many which claim to be… Enjoy your stay.
