The Aspens combines a full choice of amenities with a superb location.

In the winter, The Aspens offers:

  • ski in ski out on Blackcomb Mountain
  • Blackcomb Base in the Upper Village is located just down the hill from The Aspens. Ski or walk down to lift tickets, ski rentals, Blackcomb Kids, shops and restaurants.
  • To ski Whistler Mtn take the Wizard Chair up Blackcomb Mtn, then take the Peak2Peak Gondola to Whistler.

In the summer, The Aspens is a five minute walk into the Village to catch the Whislter gondola for alpine hiking. Walk to Lost Lake and swim in a fresh mountain pond, or walk along the Valley Trail. Short ride down to the bike park.

Restaurants and shops are located in the Upper Village, which is a short stroll down the hill. Continue along from the Upper Village, go over Fitzsimmons Creek and you are in the Village.

For conference attendees, the Telus Whistler Conference Centre is under a 10 minute walk, and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is just down the hill in the Upper Village.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All deposits of 25% are non-refundable. All refunds are made by personal cheque. For reservations Nov 1- Apr 30: The deposit is non-refundable. If the balance is paid, the total amount is non refundable except if reservation is replaced. Refund equals value of reservation with which the cancelled booking is replaced minus 4% cancellation fee. May 1- Oct 31: If the balance is paid, refund of 50% minus 4% cancellation fee with minimum notice of cancellation 7 days prior to arrival date.
Delayed Arrivals There is no refund if your arrival is delayed at the last minute.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Emailed when balance paid.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservation Changes You may lengthen your stay at no charge. Shortening your stay is considered a partial cancellation and subject to cancellation policy above. To change dates, but total nights remain the same: before balance paid, no charge. After balance paid: Winter: fee is $100 Summer: no charge.

Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Guests are responsible for damage occuring during stay to amenities and common property as a result of guest actions. Guest reservation indicates guests are agreeable to the additional charge of damage to amenities and common property occurring as a result of guest actions.
Bike Storage Lock up provided in non-secured underground garage.
Check-In Time 4 pm. Please request early check-in in advance.
Check-Out Time 10 am. Please request late check out in advance.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs If cleaning required is more than the normal 2 hours, excess costs will be charged to the guest. Including but not limited to any cleaning needed by restoration services, a plumber, stains, odor, smoking in the unit, or cooking. Any extra cleaning costs to restore the apartment to the same condition as it was upon check in.
Excessive Noise Will not be tolerated out of courtesy to neighbours. If excessive noise is reported, after one warning the guest will be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Forgotten Items by Guest There is a $15 charge for returning forgotten items to guests. Guests are responsible for all mailing costs for forgotten items.
Housekeeping Complimentary. For reservations of 8 nights or more, full linen change and bathroom cleaned about every fifth day during your stay. The kitchen is to be maintained by the guest.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour phone support.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 4.
Property Damage Guests assume all financial responsibility for any property damage incurred by you or your guests. While no damage deposit is requested, you are financially responsible for any damage incurred by you or your guests during your stay.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Legally zoned for nightly rental.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Ski valet removes and returns ski gear. Stored overnight in secure lock up.
Terms of Eviction Excessive noise, property damage, or smoking will result in eviction. No refund will be provided if you are evicted for breach of policies.

We are perfectly spent here three weeks in summer. The apartment was very comfortable and roomy. Minor problems with adjusting air conditioner were fixed as soon as we reported them to the owner. The location is ideal for skiing and good for DH biking. It is necessary to walk (or ride) the bike uphill the last 100 meters of the way from the lifts to the Aspens, but it is not so difficult. Thus, Aspens is the great property for its price.

There are also minor problems, the solution of which would improve the accommodation:

  1. Housekeeping does not watch the oven, so it is too dirty to cook in it.
  2. Pans in the kitchen are outdated, have an uneven bottom and the damaged coating.
  3. Pillows on the bed too long and not wide enough. (They are uncomfortable and fall through the gap between the bed and the wall)

Clean, quiet (May) and facilities are always well maintained. Easy walk to village. The view from the third floor balcony is pretty through the poplar trees which provide some privacy. Pool and hot tubs are easily accessed.

Great Location with Ski In & Out. The accommodation was not only as described but the owner/manager had gone the extra mile in supplying all the little things others forget which are essential for a vacation (bin bags, dishwasher tablets etc. etc.). The accommodation was spotless and we would definitely book again as we felt so comfortable.

stay at the Aspens

We've left a note on the kitchen counter already, but here it is again! We would have liked to see a recycle bin in the unit. The mattresses are in dire need of replacement, we slept 4 hours in 3 nights! Hard and lumpy and creaky isn't our idea of a good night's sleep. Dishes from the previous guests were still in the dishwasher. 2 out of the 3 pans are a health hazard, the coating is coming off and burned! There were lipstick smears on the large towel hanging in the bathroom!!!!

In order to enjoy a relaxing time at the unit there need to be rules regarding the pool. We endured 10 or more screaming kids from 4pm to 10pm! Listening to Marco Polo for hours, screeching and yelling in front of the unit isn't what we were expecting. As it was unseasonably warm, we found the air conditioning not sufficient to cool the living area.

Although we enjoyed the convenient location and the layout of the unit, we would not stay there again. Sorry for all the negative comments, but this was our experience.

We only stayed for one night this February. The location was good and the condo was big and bright. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean when we arrived. It had a lovely view out over the pool and surrounding mountains. If we were skiing, it would be a great spot to ski in and out.

We did find that although the unit is non-smoking, the sofa had a lingering smell of stale smoke, and the shower head was a bit wonky water-wise. Also, for $400 a night, it's one of the more expensive one-night stays we've had in BC. I understand that it's peak season in Whistler so I don't blame anyone for that except us for choosing to come up at this time!

We would probably choose something different next time. Kerry was fantastic to communicate with and very helpful.

Nice, clean and cozy condo as advertised, and Kerry was exceptionally accommodating to our family's needs. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars for cleanliness was the fact that someone had put away dirty dishes in the cupboard, and I had to wash them before using. The bed was a little on the firm side for us, but we made do.

We did not use our car at all as we walked everywhere, and it was wonderful not worrying about parking. The condo is so close to everything, we actually used it to escape from the 35 degree heat wave in the middle of the afternoon. We just kicked back in the air conditioning, put our feet up and chilled - literally!

Very basic but very nice. After staying at the Aspens many times - one of the best options. The air conditioning is a blessing for summer in Whistler! Kitchen is a little tired but functional. Old CRT TV could do with replacement though you are not really in Whistler to watch TV! Highly recommended!

Great Location and this accommodation had everything and was spotlessly clean. We especially liked the thoughtfulness of supplying the basic amenities for a stay (dishwasher tablets/bin liners etc. etc) that we often have to pack or end up buying in large quantities. We required for nothing and everything worked perfectly. If we decide on the same area next year we will try to book this again.

It was the end of the winter (April 21 to 27) but we still could ski very well. The apartment was clean, very well located and provided with every think we need. The parking lot was a bit expensive ($15 /day). Wonderful place to stay,

We has been to Whistler many times but this was our first time at The aspens. We loved it! So close to everything and true ski in ski out. We will be back for sure!

Terrific place! We even enjoyed sitting out on the balcony having our apres ski snacks and libations. Close to anything we wanted -- just had to walk down the hill and into the village for shopping and restaurants. Only negative was that I would have liked the ability to turn down the temperature a tad. Amazing time!

We very much enjoyed the ski-in/out location. The aspens has a ski valet service, which we don't particularly care for--would prefer self-service on skis, but it worked fine. Wi-fi service was OK, but slow and slow to connect, and we never tried using the TV or stereo, so couldn't comment on that. Pool / Hot tubs were nice. Workout room had two or three pieces of equipment, one of which was out of order. Overall, we'd consider staying there again. The owner was very responsive and felt solid. It was OK for the 4 of us (2 kids).

Only problem was broken glass all over kitchen floor when we arrived and the wireless internet did not work. Lighting could be updated. Over all great place to stay.

The apartment was in a great spot and was really quiet. It was an easy walk up the hill from Upper Whistler via the dirt track out the back of the pool area. Had everything I expected and was well supplied and had a large fridge which is good for the summer. The pool and the hot-tubs are great. Shut early in the summer (10pm) could do with being later for those of us a bit younger!! It actually has Wi-Fi and a TV, even though the site information suggests it only has wired internet access (this is important to people travelling only with smart devices!) and isn't clear to all from the wording.

Kerry's apartment was spacious, quiet and very cozy. What great views!! We had no problems whatsoever and felt so at home there. A highlight for us was the delivery from The Grocery Store in Whistler which was in the fridge for us arriving. As travellers from the UK we were awake at 3 in the morning it was heavenly to have coffee and cereal etc on hand. Thanks Kerry for suggesting that we arrange that and for being our contact with them while we were still in transit. We have stayed in the aspens several times in the past and some of the units are getting a little tired. Not this one...everything worked perfectly, lovely comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Our son particularly appreciated the duvet supplied for the sofabed,no dodgy blankets as we have had elsewhere. The wifi was much enjoyed by all and the pool and hot tubs were fun. The ski in ski out is just perfect and we enjoyed the short walk to the Village. We would definetely come back to stay here.

The unit was clean and well equipped. Ski in/out location is excellent and the upper village allowed for quiet nights rest after skiing. Quite possibly the best hot tubs in all of Whistler, with a great party atmosphere. Look forward to my next vacation at the aspens Pete

The condo is in a fabulous location - you can ski right out on to blackcombe. The condo was spotles, well-equiped kitchen and nicely laid out. I would have given this an above average rating except that bith the bed and pull-out bed were very uncomfortable. The pillows were also not good - the lumpiest, cheapest pillows - have ever slept on. We all woke up each morning with aches and pain not from skiing all day, but from the beds!! The last thing I want is to feel sore from sleeping when I start my day of this was a major reason why I would not rent there again.

We return to the aspens each year during the american thanksgiving holiday. This unit is located with great views to the mountains and the aspen courtyard with pool & hot tubs. Ski in ski out location of the aspens can't be beat!

This was great accomodation for my teenaged son and I . Serious about our time on the hill, we are typically up early and on the hill just after opening. This location is wonderful with just a quick slide down the hill to get on the lift and at the end of the day it's ski right up to the door. The aspens has solid services and everything we need when we come to Whistler for that one special week of the winter. This condo was the best outfitted unit I've stayed in and we were well supported with detailed pre-trip information about the unit,the aspens,and Whistler itself which was much appreciated when you are planning and self-booking a holiday from the other end of the country. As much I appreciated the clean and well appointeed unit, I appreciated the effort made by the owner to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation and their availability and backup support should there have been something go wrong.

Comfortable and clean, quiet, great view of mountain/skiers/hot tubs/pool- enjoyed our stay, and especially the hot tubs. Not inexpensive to stay at (especially during Presidents Week) and you pay extra for parking but then again this is a ski-in ski-out property at Whistler; would definitely book it again.

We had a great time during our stay. The location is excellent. The unit is cozy and kitchen is well equipped. If there is any room for improvement, I would say that the internet connection could have been easily set up wirelessly instead of wired from the far side of the wall. This will also make it more flexible to use a computer in the bedroom.

This is a very comfortable apartment with views of the pool and the ski hill. The location could not be better. Kerry was very attentive. We have stayed at The aspens before and this is the first time an owner has ever called on our arrival to check and see that everything was ok. We would certainly stay here again.
