Enjoy Super Ski in/Ski out convenience at Sun Peaks Mountain Resort. Our condo is a slopeside unit facing the the wide open slope of the 16th fairway. During ski season you can ski right out to the Morrisey Chair and back to our door step from the Sundance Chair. As well, we are super close to Sun Peak's great Cross Country trails.
A warm welcome awaits at Bunkers' Mountain Hideaway after a great day of activities! Relax in our private hot tub and sooth those muscles that perhaps you haven't used in a while. Afterwards, enjoy the warmth and comfort of the leather furnishings and gas fireplace. Then prepare and enjoy a savory meal in our well appointed kitchen. Mountain views, books, games, movies or music are all avaiable for your use and enjoyment. For those who want a night out, a 15- 20 minute walk to the village center offers a variety of restaurants, shops or other seasonal activities.
Our condo offers a variety of conveniences including: free heated underground parking, a ski locker adjacent to the main entrance, insuite laundry and a well appointed kitchen with spices and other basic staples for your use. Your children will enjoy the videos, games and toys found in the condo if they are not too busy riding their sleds down one of the best toboggan runs located just outside of our place. During the Summer, enjoy some of the many trails for hiking or biking, play some golf or try downhill mountain biking to get an adrenaline fix!

A half flight of stairs connects the sidewalk to our entrance. A locked ski locker adjacent to the front door is available to store ski & boarding equipment and a small deck provides space for toboggans and other snow gear just outside our front door. The open floor plan provides a spacious feel and a generous living area that includes a well appointed kitchen. A master bedroom with a queen bed and a den configured to be a second bedroom offers a bunk bed with a twin sized top bunk and a double sized futon bunk on the bottom. The futon can be pushed into a couch to provide more space during the day. The bathroom, which has heated slate floors, is accessible from the master bedroom and the kitchen. The kitchen includes heated slate floors and an eating bar, which seats 4, that opens onto the main living area. Our condo is ideal for a couple or small family.

The wood floors and wood trim finishing combined with the attractive gas fireplace make this area a warm and inviting living area. It is furnhished with a leather sofa that seats three comfortably, and 2 leather chairs. A perfect spot to sink into after an active day in the mountain outdoors or just to watch the snow fall. A 32" flat screen TV supported by a DVD/CD player,Playstation 1, a VCR and full cable services provide an entertainment center for your enjoyment. We also have an HDMI cable for those of you with Netflicks on your lap top or I pad. A good sized coffee table is spacious enough for board games that are available in the unit for your further enjoyment.
To provide a large and spacious living area, our condo does not include a dining table. Meals are enjoyed at the eating bar in the kitchen that seats four comfortably.
Our unit is wonderfully quiet and private as we are located slopeside right on the 16th fairway. There is no road noise and very little foot/ ski traffic. Just the pristine beauty of the outdoors.
We view our Sun Peaks unit as our home. You will find it beautifully appointed with the warmth and conveniences of a family that loves to spend a lot of time there.

Our unit is located in Building 1 of the Settler's Crossing complex which is just beyond Mt. Morrisey in the East village. We are located on the back side of the building, parallel to the 16th fairway of the Sun Peaks Golf Course. Ski out access is across the 16th fairway and down to the bottom of the Mount Morrisey high speed quad lift. Ski in access is available from the top of the high speed quad Sun Dance Chair. One must ski down the Rambler run followed by the East Village Ski Way and then "Fair Dinkum" run which empties out onto the 16th fairway of the golf course and a ski out straight o our condo stairs. Easier runs east of Fair dinkum will also bring you back to the Settler's ski out.
The main village where most amenities are located is a 15-20 minute walk from Settlers Crossing.( 15 for my husband, 20 for me) In the winter, a complementary village shuttle is also available.
Sun Peaks resort is a 4.5 hour drive from Vancouver, B.C. on a good double lane highway almost all the way to the mountain. Driving times from Calgary, Alberta and Seattle, Washington are approximately 7.5 hours and 6 hours respectively.
Sun Peaks Resort is also accessible by air with flights from Vancouver, Calgary and Seattle to Kamloops and shuttles between the Kamloops airport and Sun Peaks Resort. As well, there is Via rail service from Vancouver to Kamloops.

Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site|
|Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal||The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. |Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||The condo is inspected upon your departure. Any excessive cleaning costs shall be charged against your damage deposit.|
|Excessive Noise||Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8 AM. Please respect your neighbours when using our hot tub as noise really travels outside. Should we recieve noise complaints regarding your stay your damage deposit will be withheld.|
|Garbage Removal||Please take all your garbage & recyclables to the garbage transfer station upon your departure. Garbage can is located on exterior deck. Please keep lid on securely to ensure the critters are not tempted. Garbage transfer station is located off Industrial Ave on the right side of the road when leaving the resort.|
|Housekeeping||Provided before your arrival & after departure. A light weight upright vac. & cleaning supplies are provided for longer stays. Excessive cleaning after departure will be charged to Guest's Credit Card.|
|Liability||We are not responsible for any bodily harm or stolen, damaged or lost property to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Sun PeaksResort.|
|Locking Door||Please lock at all times. Please keep patio and entry door closed when loading or when in or out of unit. This will prevent theft and presence of wild animals. Please keep your valuables and our valuables safe! Sometimes the front door is tricky to open in cold weather. Pull it towards you as you enter your door code and this should allow greater ease getting in.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||First Trax Property Management should be advised immediately of any maintenance emergencies. These will be addressed as quickly as reasonably possible. Timelines of responses will be dependent upon the day and nature of maintenance required and be impacted by Sun Peak's location relative to most service providers. For non- emergencies please call Neil & Heide at 604-943-5133, cell 604-512-1993|
|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||5 - Maximum of 4 adults. Renters found to have exceeded this limitation shall be subject to immediate eviction.|
|Missing Items||Charged to damage deposit/ credit card. If value of missing item(s) are over $500 additional funds will be charged to your credit card. Condo is inspected before & after each stay by local property management|
|Noise Restrictions||Excessive noise from the hot tub area is not permitted after 10:00 PM. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for damages resulting from the noise complaints. Please respect the comfort of your neighbours and comply with the Settlers Crossing noise bylaw that restricts noise between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.|
|Policy Updates||Are subject to change.|
|Property Damage||CDN$500 damage deposit charged before arrival. Deposit will be returned within 14 days of your departure, via e transfer, personal cheque or money order, providing the suite is free of damage and does not require excessive cleaning. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property & occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.|
|Rental Accommodation Zoning||Zoned for nightly rental use.|
|Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage||ski locker adjacent to front door is provided for storage of skis, boards and poles. Please do not bring skis, boards and poles into unit.|
|Terms of Eviction||Non compliance with any of the policies or damage to common or private property will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rent paid. Damages shall be applied to the damage deposit.|
|Fill up your gas tank before you arrive||The nearest gas station is in Heffley Creek, about 25 min away. Also, it is best to buy groceries in Kamloops as the mountain grocery store has a very limited selection and higher prices.|
|Is your unit easy to find?||Getting to our unit is really straight forward and in daylight it is really easy to find. At night it gets a little harder as there are few street lights and sometimes the snow piles up in front of the signs. If you plan to arrive after dark, bring a flash light. Also, roll down your window and ask for help as it is a very friendly place.|
|Is there a grocery store on the mountain?||Yes, however, it is small and expensive. Plan the bulk of your grocery shopping on your way up. Kamloops is the closest city, about 35-45 min. drive.|
|Why must I take my garbage to the "transfer station"?||There are no garbage dumpsters within private complexes at Sun Peaks as there is a problem with garbage and wild animals. The transfer station is staffed and locks their bins at night and keeps things very clean. The transfer station is conveniently located on the way out of town and now accepts recyclables and returnables as well.|
Neil & Heide and their children live in Tsawwassen, a suburb of Vancouver, B.C. They have long enjoyed downhill skiing and invested in this Condo so they could share their love of skiing with their children. The surprising variety of activities in the summer at Sun Peaks has been a bonus to them as they have enjoyed the golf, mountain biking and the assortment of summer events such as the Sunday market, hiking in the alpine meadows and catching frogs and tadpoles at McGillavry Lake. Their children have enjoyed the skiing and snowboarding and revel in the thrill of the great tobogganing down the 16th fairway of the golf course during the winter.
