Enter Veitch's Villa at the lower level private entrance and enter a truly spectacular winter and summer retreat. Our spacious 921 sqft open plan vacation home offers includes a queen size bed and ensuite in master bedroom and a second bedroom has a queen size bunk bed with twin on top. There is also a second bathroom down main hallway. Well appointed living room with two soft sofas (one of them a pullout), beautiful dark stained wood coffee table and corner table to match with leather chair. Gas fireplace, floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views. Dark stained wood dining table for 6. Heated tile floors for all bathrooms and kitchen. 37' Flat Screen TV with surround sound stereo with additional 20' Flat Screen TV in the second bedroom. Secure heated underground parking, ski locker by front door, and Free Internet access all included for your enjoyment. Out on your private deck sits your own private hot-tub for six people over looking the 16th hole golf course in the summer and the Fair Dinkum ski run and Mt. Although there are food and wine stores available at the mountain, a stop on the way up to Sun Peaks (e.g. Kamloops) at the grocery and liquor stores could save some time and money on your vacation.

Location & Map
Veitch's Villa is a true ski in/out unit located slope side in building 1 of the new Settlers Crossing. Only a short walk to Sun Peaks Village (10 min) and minutes away from the future East Village.
Sun Peaks Resort is a 4.25 hour drive from Vancouver, 4.5 hour drive from Whistler, 2.5 hour drive from Hope, 5 hour drive from Jasper, 7.5 hour drive from Calgary, and a 5.5 hour drive from Seattle. The newly renovated Kamloops Airport caters to all three cities. Shuttle service is available from the airport to Sun Peaks and will drop you directly infront of the residence upon request.
Sun Peaks Resort also offers an "in-Resort" Shuttle bus as follows:
Monday to Thursday Schedule Information
The Monday to Thursday shuttle service from Parking Lot 5 to the Village Day Lodge is offered every week during the winter season. It will depart the marked bus stop at Parking Lot 5 located by Woodhaven first at 8:00am, and then second at 8:15am. Both shuttle times will take guests to the Village Day Lodge.
Friday to Sunday Schedule Information
The Friday to Sunday shuttle service is offered every week during the winter season, and services the entire resort. Extended daily service is also offered during the holiday periods December 20, 2008, to January 11, 2009, February 16 to 25, 2009, and March 9 to 18, 2009.
The shuttle starts at 8:25am leaving Lot P5, then proceeds to the Village Day Lodge to drop off before leaving on a west route. Each route takes about approximately 30 minutes. The service will run from 8:25am till 11:35am, and then again from 12:55pm to 4:30pm. Bus stops are marked at Woodhaven/P5, Stones Throw/Settlers Crossing, Timberline, Village Day Lodge.

|Housekeeping||Before your arrival, after Departures. Additional provided for extended stays over 1 week, a light weight vacuum is provided. Greg, Isabelle, daughter Alexandria (Alex) and son Zachary (Zack) live in North Vancouver BC. Greg was born and raised in BC and Isabelle in Quebec - each enjoys a great deal of winter and summer sports including snowboarding, hockey, running, hiking, cross-country cycling and golf. Interests that are ideally suited for owning a place in beautiful Sun Peaks. As parents, Greg and Isabelle are very excited as to the opportunity of getting both Alex and Zack into skiiing/snowboarding/golfing etc. and the shear number of long-lasting family memories that are sure to come at their second home in Sun Peaks.
Both Greg and Isabelle take great pride in ensuring that their guests have a great time in their home at Sun Peaks and as such have spared no expense as to amenities, features and the like....

First time visiting this Condo. We really enjoyed our stay. You can find anything you need for cooking in the kitchen. The hot tub was great. Real ski out to Mt Morrisey and ski in from Sundance. Great for the kids because there are lots of toys and DVDs and games in the codo.View Full Review

This was our 2nd visit to Sun Peaks, but 1st visit to this condo. We enjoyed our stay in this condo at Sun Peaks. The location was perfect as the ski out/ski in was steps away from the front door. Parking was primo as it was at a height of 7'6 which accommodated our car with Thule on top. It was a spacious unit with many amenities. The hot tub was a great feature after a long day of skiing. This has been our sixth visit for my wife and I , we love coming up here for our Interior snow skiing , Our accommodation is always clean and well equipped , Ski in and ski out either downhill or cross country. Love the hot tub after a good day of skiing . A short walk through a well lit trail to the the village and all its amenities. The location is excellent for ski out to Morrisey and ski in from East Village Ski Way, literally out of the front door, a few steps and onto the ski run. 2. The condo feels large and has been furnished in the past to a high standard. 3. There are lots of DVDs, an X box, items for younger children. 4. The hot tub is amazing, excellent jets, lights and a beautiful private location. 5. The owners provided Christmas lights for the balcony, a small Christmas tree and a few Christmas decorations. 6. The lady who services the property answered my call immediately when I had a problem and visited within 30 minutes. 7. Large parking spot in the heated garage. 8. Large cupboard for storing skis just by the front door. The following things were not to my satisfaction: 1. The sheets were washed but badly stained and discoloured. 2. The mattress protectors were disgusting and clearly were rarely washed. 3. The tumble dryer had a hole in the door, causing it to take 4 hours to dry a load of washing. 4. The property needs a deep clean - kitchen cupboards were dirty, the sofa was covered in dog hair, food crumbs were under the cushions, blinds covered in dust, mould around the bath. The counter tops and bathrooms were surface clean. 5. I phoned the owners 3 times on the 1st evening and following morning and they did not answer my call. The owner did email and phone after the service company chased them up. 6. Although the condo is not pet friendly, the owner has a dog (dog bowl & toy in the condo and dog hair everywhere !) In response to my complaint they purchased new bed linen and sent it up to Sun Peaks, it arrived mid way through our stay. They offered cleaning support by the service company but by this time we had already spent time doing it ourselves. We patched the tumble dryer door with cardboard and it is now operating more effectively. My understanding is that the owner is not replacing the tumble dryer so I presume our cardboard repair will stand. The owner did provide a small level of compensation refunded with my deposit. This condo could be amazing, a really thorough clean, a few minor repairs, a new washer/ dryer and leave the dog at home. It lacks tender loving care.View Full Review
