Location & Map


The Raven is a short walk away from the Happy Valley Adventure area and Lodge. Happy Valley is a perfect location, it's lots of fun and central offering many non-skiing activities including the outdoor Skating rink, Mega Coaster Tube run  and Cross country skiing. The Raven is a short walk to the Gondola which will take you (in just 5 minutes) to the village where you'll find many restaurants, the kids centre and the ski/board school and grocery store.

Ski-in, Ski-out - There is direct Ski-in access to The Raven and Ski-out simply requires a short across the road, or walk downhill to the Gondola depending on snow coverage.  On a good day you can put your skis on as soon as you have left The Raven entrance and crossed over the road.

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. If we can replace your booking, we will issue a refund by cheque. Please note that your booking is made directly with the property owner who is based in the UK. Any refund of any booking fee is subject to a 30% deduction, this is to cover both credit card processing and Canadian taxes which are deducted at the point of any booking payment being made.

Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Standard departure cleaning is complimentary. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund. Please be considerate toward your neighbours
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for garbage removal at the time of departure. Waste disposal & Recycling containers are located on site in the parking garage.
Housekeeping Cleaning after departure is included. Guests staying 10 to 20 nights receive a complimentary change of towels and bed sheets mid way thru the stay. Internet Availability & Usage Wireless internet access is provided by a third party. We cannot be held responsible if there is a lack of or quality of service at any time.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Ski Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies In resort support provided. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6 People. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction
Missing Items Guests authorise credit card charge for replacement of missing items. We will notify you in advance of any charges.
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11.00pm to 7.00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting from the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11.00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11.00pm out of respect for neighbouring guests.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice, however guest will be notified via e-mail of changes prior to their arrival.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incured by tenants or guests & authorizes up to a $1,000.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment you agree to pay us for all damages that you incur. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges,lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, unauthorized pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

We loved our stay at The Raven. It was very clean, updated and fully stocked with everything you needed. Great location. Easy to get to Gondola for skiing and to Happy Valley for tubing, rock wall, skating, etc. First night we were there the facility's hot water went out. They were very responsive to this problem and it was fixed the next morning. The only other problem was the elevator. It didn't work a day we were there and on the day we left. So we had to carry our luggage 3 levels down to the parking garage. I think if you get on the elevator and get off without pushing a button the elevator gets stuck - so it's probably not working due to user error and/or kids playing around. (Without elevator problem I would give 5 stars to the development). Everything else was so great, so the elevator problem didn't really bother us.

Other guests were nice and courteous, which is always a plus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vacation home and would definitely come back again! The location was an approx. 5 minute walk to the gondola which brings you right to the village (free) and you have an unobstructed view of the mountains and ice rink (not to mention the fireworks for New Years night). When we arrived there was a bottle of Oyster Bay wine (one of my favorites) waiting and approx. 1 hour into our stay we received a phone call asking if everything was to our liking (nice follow-up!). Amenities were very clean (with some bathroom items for our use), The hot tube was very ice after a day on the runs (make sure you all get outside of the door prior to opening up the hot tub as it does block the door a bit).

The only negative item that stands out is the small entrance to the elevator if you have large suitcases/packages. It's a bit of a wedge as you also have people coming down the staircase trying to get out. As well, for cooks like ourselves, we would of liked the use of more frying pans (only one provided). Other than that our stay was well worth the price.

Good times at Big White

Firstly, the pictures do not do this unit justice. It's a beautiful clean unit with a very nice unobstructed view! The unit is large and comfortable. The only thing I would change is the couch. It's a little worked in, but other than that A . We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub each day after finishing on the hill. An added bonus was the snow racer toboggan that came with the unit. Our 3 year old daughter loved it! It's a roughly 5 minute walk over to Happy Valley and the gondola that brings you up to the village. Being close to Happy Valley is an added bonus if you have young kids! There's a skating rink, tube rides, and an ice climbing wall.

If you've never been to Big White you're in for a treat! We go back year after year for the powder! The hill is huge, and much quieter than Whistler. No issues with long line ups at the lifts. It's the most chill place and super user friendly for families.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful unit! And we very much appreciate the owner allowing us to have our pet dog with us - that was very important to us so thank you again.

Pros of Unit: Great for a family of 4 w/kids/clean/kitchen well stocked/nice hot tub/roomy and comfortable Cons of Unit: Walk to the gondola is a bit long with young kids - manageable but gets tougher by the 3rd day carrying all the equipment back and forth/while we had generally quiet tenants above us - I could see how the unit could be tough with tenants up above who were active.

Some minor items to note: sink in the master bathroom drained very very slow/light was out on the deck/all doors could use some lubricant spray as they all squeaked pretty good.

All in all - we loved the unit and would have no problem coming back to use it again as we loved Big White and all it has to offer!

From our initial booking until the end of our holiday communicating with Wendy, the property manager, was simple and effective. The welcome pack and bottle of wine were unexpected but a lovely and personal touch.

The property was as described and having 2 bathrooms for our 4 adult party was great. We could ski out after a very short walk over the road as there was plenty of snow, ski in we found the path ran along the back with a 30 second walk/slide down the final slope to the apartment. The views were amazing as the 3rd floor is elevated to see over the building in front.

There was everything we needed and the inclusion of washing powder/ dishwasher tablets and shower gels was more than we expected but very welcome. The hot tub was serviced every second day ensuring it was always ready for use after a ski day. Having all entries key pad accessible meant no worries re losing any keys and it was easy to store our ski gear.

There was nothing negative about this apartment, it was quiet and perfectly located for the gondola and we all enjoyed it.

We had a great stay at The Raven in Big White, and would definitely return. Not a complaint, but the fireplace was not working during our stay, and it would have been nice to have the ability to use it. Additionally, the guests staying above us were fairly loud when walking around (both day and night), and the noise in our unit was notable. We would definitely stay at The Raven again, though may consider staying on the top floor in the hopes of it being a bit quieter from surrounding units.

The booking and directions for this condo were simple and straightforward. The building is new and the condo is a nice layout. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking and eating utensils, some spices, but no extra cooking products such as oil. The nice bottle of wine waiting for us was appreciated. The steam shower is great - but do be careful not to touch the steam outlet. I know that seems pretty obvious, but the steamer nozzle is not at a height that you are always aware where it is. My 13 year old daughter did burn her leg, despite being warned to watch for it. The hot tub was clean and spectacular to sit in after a day on the hill. Great towel supply and bedding was sufficient.

We did have trouble getting the DVD to work, but a call to the number provided did get a quick response and it was fixed. Our only complaint is that if you do end up with heavy walkers or busy folks in the suite upstairs it is very noisy in this condo. We thought that perhaps there was a fitness club above us, as it was hard to imagine that one family moved around that much ... And it did not stop till after 11 pm. We know that other renters and their noise level is outside the control of the owner, however it does impact this unit.

We just got back from a 5 night stay in this condo. It was clean, well appointed and in a great ski in location. The ski out part was less than idea as we had to walk to the gondola to get into the village to ski but it was definitely manageable. The bedrooms were spacious and had nice linens. We made good use of the in-unit washer and dryer. We LOVED the hot tub on the deck. We enjoyed that every day after skiing.

The communication from the management company was very prompt, clear and concise. They answered all of our questions and the direction that was given was great.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the raven. We can't wait to come back!

Great Spot at Big White - Loved the accommodation

This beautiful condo made our stay at Big White even more enjoyable. We particularly loved the private hot tub and beautifully equipped kitchen, along with the other amenities (WiFi, TV etc.). The location isn't bad: ski-in & ski-out depends on snow situation.

When we were there, there wasn't quite enough to do either ski-in or out, but the walk wasn't long. Minor nitpick: it would have been nice to have some coffee upon our (late) arrival. But other than that, highly recommended

Absolutely fabulous. The condo was great and looks just like the photos online. We arrived in early evening after a long drive from Vancouver with heavy snowfall, so when we opened the door to the condo we were able to relax with some food a complimentary bottle of wine - Thanks ! The hot tub was fantastic which we used every evening and the views to the mountains were ideal. We were very happy. Excellent facilities.

Great spacious room. Very clean. Has everything you need; kitchen appliances, bathroom goods, games, video games etc. Loved the private jacuzzi where you can enjoy the view of Happy Valley and we could also enjoy fireworks from there! I thought it was great for 4 ppl, space wise. Only sometimes, the footstep and the music from above room bothered me when I was in the living room. The bed was a bit small for us...also the cushion was not so good. I used master room, but as the bed was too close to the door, I banged my toe/shin a lot during the night. I wanted to hang my wet towel or bathing suits somewhere (outside of the closet) to dry in the bedroom, but there was no place to do that. Loved the steam in the bathroom. Easy access to the gondola and the lodge where you can enjoy food/drink. Secure number-lock system. Email response was very prompt and informative. All in all, our stay was perfect! I'll strongly recommend this place. Great holiday gate away:)

We've probably rented over 100 places in about 15 countries from sites like Flipkey, Airbnb,, etc. This condo at The Raven is amazingly well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some (even a garlic press). The private hottub was awesome. The Nintendo Wii was a lot of fun too. The keyless entry system for the entire building was so convenient when we had friends visiting. Our only complaint would be that the bed sheets weren't the softest, felt too much like what you'd expect in a hospital ;)

We have stayed in hundreds of vacation rentals and can honestly say that the Raven is in our top 5 worldwide. We were lucky enough to stay here for 2 1/2 months, and couldn't have been happier. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with high quality appliances. Everything you will need is there to make a great meal. The beds and bedding were comfortable. We loved having a steam shower in the master bath. The Wii and hot tub were two of our favorite amenities, a great way to relax after a day on the mountain. We stayed in both #209 & #309, both were fantastic. Other pros: We loved the cork flooring, which was always warm. The sinks were also very cool and pretty. We loved having a washer/dryer in unit and underground heated parking. The keyless entry was very convenient. It is a short 3-5 minute walk to the free Gondola which takes you up to the village, and then you can fully snowboard/ski home. Cons: It can be a bit noisy with neighbors overhead. Great stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking in Big White.

We enjoyed our stay at Raven. Easy to find and comfortable accommodation. We did find the condo too hot at night even with windows open. Lighting over the dining table was too harsh, could use a dimmer bulb or install dimmer switch. There were candles but no matches and we don't smoke so had none either. Would have preferred to know that there was no basic food provided, (maybe I missed that message). Have rented other places that have some sugar, oil & vinegar, tea, coffee and long life milk. Would have liked a map to show us how to ski back to the cabin. Don't take my suggestions too seriously, we really enjoyed the place and were fortunate to have good snow conditions and sunny weather! Many thanks!
