Welcome to our comfortable home at Sun Peaks.  Situated in the perfect location nestled between both villages only a few minutes walk in either direction.    The ice skating rink, sports centre, and cross country ski trails are also just a short walk away.  After a good day on the snow we have a private hot tub for you to relax in or simply sit inside and read or watch TV by the warm gas fireplace.  Wi-fi, free local calls, a selection of books and movies, all the comforts of home right here in Crystal Forest #27.

Property Description

Main Floor: From the front door, walk into the fully stocked kitchen that has a coffee maker and microwave, plus all the equipment you need to cook a nice apres ski meal! Enjoy your meals at the large dining table that can accomodate 6 people - and there's room for four at the kitchen counter with four stools. After dinner you can relax in the living room while watching a movie, reading a book, or playing a game. Or, relax in our private 8-person hot tub!

There is tri-bunk bedroom and a full bath on the main floor. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with en suite bath, two additional bedrooms, and a full bathroom off the hall.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All deposits and payments are non-refundable unless your booking can be replaced by another guest. Refunds will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract When you book online you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your stay if availability permits. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs You wil be billed directly for excessive cleaning costs above and beyond normal cleaning. Excessive cleaning includes, but is not limited to, excessive or unremoveable stains on furniture, bedding or carpets; hot tub water change; excessive food stains in the oven, microwave or refrigerator; damage to interior paint.
Excessive Noise You will be evicted without a refund. We like our neighbors, and they like us too, so our goal is to rent to like-minded folks who will respect others' rights to privacy and a quiet, enjoyable vacation.
Housekeeping Cleaning is provided before and after your visit.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location at Sun Peaks Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies On mountain contact. You will receive on-mountain contact info in your information packet
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 8 people. Negotiable for 1-2 additional children
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies. All items in the condo are our personal property, and were chosen to insure our guests a plesant stay. Please respect our property.
Noise Restrictions Excessive noise from the hot tub area is not permitted after 11 pm. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for damages resulting from the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area can be used after 11 pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11 pm out of respect for our neighboring families
Policy Updates Our policies may be updated from time-to-time, so please refer back to this site for any questions that you may have.
Property Damage If no damage is discovered after your stay, your damage deposit will be refunded to you by personal cheque. If there is damage or additional cleaning beyond the normal usage it will be deducted from the damage deposit. You wil be billed directly for any property damage more than your deposit .

Resort Information Provided with keyless entry codes and welcome package.
Terms of Eviction Not our goal (or yours!), but multiple complaints will lead to eviction by Sun Peaks security services. Excessive noise, more than 8 guests without owner permission, property damage, disturbing the peace, and smoking of any kind are grounds for eviction

Don't Forget

Fill up your gas tank before you arrive Remember to fill up before you get to Hefly Creek Road. There is no gas station on the mountain. The nearest one is 26km down mountain.

About Us

We are a family of three generations of skiers (some are boarders).  Parents, kids and now grandkids too.  We have been coming to Sun Peaks for about 12 years.  We love it, this is our home away from home and we hope you enjoy staying at our place as much as we do.

We were a group of 8 travelling to Wells Gray park for backcountry skiing and as this was a starting point for our trip, we were only there for the weekend. The condo had everything we needed and for the downhill skiers, it was a short walk to the hill. All of the amenities were in the condo and it was especially nice to have 3 bathrooms for our group. Very clean. The owner was a pleasure to deal with as well.

We were two families of 4 each. The unit was the perfect size and location for us. The hot tub was nice and it is within easy walking distance to the village, ice skating rink, family swim center, and snow shoeing trails. It is also convenient to the lifts but you need to figure out the best way in and out. At first we walked to Morrisey and then skied home via Three Bears. On our second day, we discovered a very convenient trail directly across the street from the hot tub. One can ski, with some walking, to the village and ski all the way home by taking the right trails. Note to owners - A detailed map of these shortcuts would be helpful. The shortcut home starts below the houses by a railed fence and then skirts behind a group of condos to meet up with the trail across from the hot tub

Stayed over Christmas 2013 with 8 adults and 3 kids (1,3,6). The Condo was provisioned very well and there was almost nothing that they didn't have in the kitchen somewhere. We had a big turkey dinner and found everything we needed. Only thing we didn't find was a coffee grinder! The hot tub was awesome and the location was a short walk to all the activities. The owners phoned us our first day to check that everything was going well and that was a great touch that we had never had happen before in the many places we have stayed! The condo was spacious for all of us and the master bedroom was amazing. For our young family they had everything from a booster seat, to a fold up crib, to kid movies and books. We hope to stay here again in the future!

The accomodation was great, fit 4 couples comfortably all with private bedrooms. Well appointed so we didnt have to worry about bringing anything from home. The place way cosy and in a great location. A short 5 walk to and from the main lift areas. And by far the greatest highlight, sitting in the hot tub after a long day of skiing with the sun very slowly easing down through the blue sky...wonderful!!

Excellent stay at Candy's Crystal Forest #27. Well stocked condo with lots of kitchenware, with even some extras we tried out such as waffle maker and donut maker .Hot tub was cleaned and filled every day. Location was ok but a little tricky to find a good ski-in trail, located about halfway between village and Morrisey lift. Would have liked to have a bigger kitchen, with even 2 people in the kitchen it's a little crowded. Excellent value for the price. Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at your condo. The location was excellent, could easily walk to the village even with a 5 year old and a 2 year old (with help from the sled that is at the condo). The kids had fun sledding just outside the condo with the sleds provided. The kitchen was well equipped - didn't need to bring anything extra. Check-in was a breeze - very well organized. Thank you so much for letting us check out later, that was really helpful. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and would certainly like to do this again. Thanks for everything.

The condo was excellent. Lots of room and it is especially well equipped. There was nothing that we needed that we couldn't find. We had two young children with us and 6 adults and it was a great fit for all. Very nice vacation and the skiing was great as well!
