Location & Map
Stone's Throw is a recently added condominium complex at Sun Peaks, located east of the main village in the East Village area near the base of the Morrissey chair. In the winter, true Ski in / Ski out. In the summer, on the 16th hole of the Sun Peaks golf course. Close enough to the Village to be convenient, and far enough to be quiet and peaceful. To get there go through Sun Peaks village and just past the Morrissey chairlift.
Stones Throw is the first complex on the left-hand side past the ski overpass. Our unit is #43 in building 5 of the Stones Throw complex.

Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||Assessed at checkout. Rental includes normal unit cleaning. Excessive cleaning costs will be evaluated and passed on to the registered guest.|
|Excessive Noise||Noise to be kept to a minimum after 11:00 PM. Please respect our neighbors by keeping outside noise (including in the hot tub) to a minimum after 11:00 PM.|
|Housekeeping||Unit will be cleaned before arrival and after departure.|
|Liability||Responsibility of registered guest. We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location at Sun Peaks resort|

The outdoor hot tub area can be used after 10 pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 10 pm out of respect for our neighboring families.|
|Parking & Ticketing||One parking spot is assigned to the unit. Some additional guest parking available in the second parkade, first come, first served.|
|Property Damage||The cost of repairing or replacing damaged property will be charged to the guest upon departure. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: damage to common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges,lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.|

Frequently Asked Questions
|Where do I park when I arrive?||The underground parking lot for our unit is the second garage entrance. We will provide the garage door code as part of our Checkin Package before your arrive.|
|I will be arriving with guests in a second vehicle. Where can they park?||Some guest parking is available in the first underground parking garage.|
|Do I need to bring my own towels||Towels are provided for each guest. However, we recommend bringing a beach towel for use in the hot tub.|
|Do I need to maintain the hot tub?||No. The hot tub is maintained daily by our property services company.|
|Where can I store my skis and snowboards||There is an outside ski locker for you to use, just to the right of the front door. You will find this key in the unit when you check in.|
|When will I receive my access code to the front door.||We will send you a Checkin Package after your final payment has been received. The checkin package will have your customized front door access code, the garage door code (for vehicles, and for pedestrians), and emergency checkin information. It is important that you print out the Checkin Package and bring it with you.|

We were fortunate enough to spend three weeks in this delightful apartment at Sun Peaks. Everything we could have wished for and MORE was supplied to ensure our visit was memorable. A very clean, spacious unit, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, heated floors in tiled areas, a cosy gas fireplace which adequately warms all rooms, but if required extra controlled heating is supplied in bedrooms and lounge. Modern and quality appliances in the fully equipped kitchen and laundry add to the 'at home' feeling. Locked security controlled parking should guests be arriving by vehicle. A true ski in ski out apartment, step out the door and almost immediately you are ready to ski or snow board to the lift. A pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk to the village brings you to a variety of shops and restaurants. The complex consisting of many units is very quiet ensuring a peaceful nights sleep. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have discovered (via Trip Advisor) Roy's Place in beautiful Sun Peaks.

We decided to get our adult children a winter holiday together instead of more "stuff" for Christmas. Our actual present to them besides the stay was going dog sledding together! What fun and an experience to do together. We had a fabulous time! Other adventures included snow boarding, snow shoeing, spa and hot tubbing as well as just hanging out. We loved our adventure!
The place was clean and very comfortable.

We had a terrific March ski break at this comfortable ski-in-ski-out condo. The place had everything we could possibly have needed - plus a nice big hot tub. It was a nice, short stroll to the village restaurants and shops. The unit had a well-appointed kitchen and was as neat as a pin. The coolest part was being able to step into our skis right outside the front door for a short glide to the chair. We're looking forward to returning. Awesome!

Have stayed in many different resorts. This property, at Sun Peaks, is one of the best equiped, modern, comfortable, accomodations we have had. Also, has a hot tub right on the deck, over looking the ski hill area and local mountains. The location, (ski in/out) is very easy to access, and it is a true ski in ski out located right out the front door. The secure under ground parking accomodates large trucks, (Suburban etc) with roof racks etc. Parking is very close to this rental unit, and has a very easy access for hauling all your stuff to/from the rental unit. We would recommend this rental property for all the right reasons. If you are single, family, group, etc, it accomodates with comfort and security for all ages.

We stayed at the Roys Place in Sun Peaks for a duration of 3 weeks in Feb/March 2011. The ski-in, ski-out apartment was absolutely gorgeous with cosy and ambient decor, fantastic heating, a private spa and basically everything you would ever need for a stay of our duration. We were with our 2 children aged 9 and 11 years and the bunk room was perfect for them, There is a double bunk down below and single up top and the room has it's own TV and games draw. Some morning's we would ski to the village (up the Morrisey chair) or alternatively catch the bus to the village for a coffee before commencing our ski day. On days off or at night we would often walk in for dinner and walk home (about a 10 min walk each direction). Fabulous accommodation and we have recommended to our friends already.
Fantastic slope side location

This is a really great condo, it was comfortably decorated and there was plenty of room for our family of four. The hill was pretty quiet when we were there during spring break which was a bit surprising. The ski terrain was not as challenging as say Whistler/Blackcomb, or Lake Louise, but would compare well with Panarama or Mount Washington. Snow conditions were pretty much perfect while we were there. The Condo is on both downhill and X-Country trails. The x-country trails were well groomed and the dog sledding was cool to watch. Town is a short walk away which is also good in that it keeps you separated from the noise and allows for a nice after dinner walk..
