Kitchen has all brand new appliances including fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, and 4 slice toaster. We supply sugar, dish soap, plastic wrap and tin foil. There is also olive oil and Montreal Steak Spice for your use.

Living Area

Living Room consists of LCD TV, DVD player and stereo with Surround Sound. There is a couch, loveseat and a chair with ottoman.

Dining Area

The dining area consists of a dining table and 6 chairs. A bar with 2 bar stools is also available.

Special Features

The property is the newest condo complex at Sun Peaks resort. It comes with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom. It has heated slate tile floors in the entry way, both bathrooms and the kitchen. The living room has a LCD TV and surround sound for great movie watching. It is also has a playstation 3 console for video games. There is also another TV and DVD player in the second bedroom and an LCD TV in the Master bedroom. We have High speed Internet Access. The kitchen comes well equipped with all major appliances and cook wear to make a gourmet meal. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Private Amenities include a 6 person hot tub and a personal bbq. The unit is equipped with two LCD HDTV and 6 speaker Sony Surround sound system. It also has a Playstation 3 for video games. The kitchen has all the major appliances and a nice set of pot and pans for gourmet cooking.

Cancellations Made by Guests If cancellation is requested greater than 45 days prior to arrival, there is a 4% admin fee. Otherwise, there will be no refund unless unit is booked by someone else.

Delivery of Instructions and Access Information These will be provided at the time of final payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract By reserving online via your credit card, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. .
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time Check-In Time (PST) 4:00 pm.
Check-Out Time Check-Out Time (PST) 10:00 am.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise is noise which disturbs others in the building between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am and is prohibited according to the strictly enforced strata bylaws. .
Garbage Removal Garbage will be removed at the end of your stay.
Housekeeping Housekeeping is provided upon arrival and departure.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Sun Peaks Ski Resort.
Locking Door It is the Guest's responsibility to lock upon departure.
Maintenance Emergencies Day time and night time phone numbers will be provided upon final payment.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity A Maximum number of 8 overnight guests are allowed for nightly stays. This is strictly enforced. Eviction without a refund for parties of 9 people or more for nightly stays.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Noise Restrictions Hot Tub Use - Excessive noise from the hot tub area is not permitted after 10 pm.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice. .
Property Damage We reserve the right, at our discretion, to collect a property damage fee if Guest causes damage to common or private property during their stay. .
Rental Accommodation Zoning My property is legally zoned for short term nightly rental accommodation use.
Terms of Eviction Guests will be evicted for any of the following reasons: smoking, excessive noise, common or private property damage, disturbing the peace; excess of 8 overnight occupants. .

Karen and i and our four boys loved our stay at Stone's Throw. We've stayed at many condos in Stone's Throw, Settler's Crossing, Crystal Forest, Woodhaven and this was definitely one of our favourites. About 100 ft walk to the golf course to put on your skis and off you go.

Everything in the condo works well. a drip coffee maker would be awesome (there is a Keurig though!). Would love to stay here again...

We've been renting condos at Sun Peaks annually for over 10 years. Stone's Throw is a great location. This condo is large, clean and for the most part well equipped. It is also on the top floor, which is a must for us.

I will point out some issues that we had that would have helped if we knew about them in advance. This is to help out other renters.

1) we could not figure out how to operate the heated floors even after we found out about the buttons on the side - this is the first time we have had a problem so instructions would be nice.
2) we could not find a coffee maker only a Keurig which uses pods. There were only 4 coffee pods but lots of tea and hot chocolate. We brought coffee with us but could not make any and you cannot buy the pods in Sun Peaks (maybe we didn't look hard enough for the coffee maker). Let people know if there is no coffee maker.
3) there was only hand soap in the bathroom. This is only the second unit we've been in where there was no bar soap or shampoo. We had to shop in the Village the next day.
4) we could not find a Sun Peaks channel on the TV to show the weather, which runs are groomed, etc. Again this is the only unit where it's been a problem.

These are not things that would stop us from coming back as they are easily handled. I'm just pointing them out to make it easier for first time renters.

Super weekend in Sun Peaks

We spent 3 days/nights in IrisKalbfleisch and had a wonderful time! The property is located about half a mile from the Sundance/Sunburst chairlifts. There is a free shuttle bus that circles the area every 30 mins and stops right outside the development. The Morissey express is Ski in/Ski Out and the runs on that mountain are generally less crowded.

The apartment itself is really super. The living area is very spacious, the kitchen is fully stocked and the coffee machine is a nice touch! Can't wait to return again next year!
