Property Description

Our well equipt townhome has 2 level, total 1850 sf living space. In addition to this space, it comes with double car private garage. One car garage is converted to a heated ski room. Private garage is attched to the house via a flat and short covered walkway, which leads to the flat ground level entrance. Plenty of space in front of garage if additional parking is needed. It is a 2 level townhome. Half floor up from the entrance is the upper level, which has kitchen with counter that open up to living room and dining room. Most of the upper floor has very high vaulted ceiling which gives that special spacious, bright and open feeling. Large window and patio door lead to the unobstructed views. Outside the patio door is upstairs deck which has BBA grill and outdoor sittings. One full bath and one bedroom with two twin beds are on this level. Also, there is a laundry room and additional storage in the laundry room. Half floor down from extrance is the lower level. This level has one master bedroom which has a private bathroom, fireplace, and a sitting area by the fireplace and big window for the same great view as upper level. The master bedroom also has its own TV. An 2nd bedroom which has a queen size bed and a 2nd bathroom are also located on this level. A den or a separate livingroom/family room area is on this level, which comes with a queen size sleeper sofa and TV, VCR, etc. This den/family room has a large patio door that leads to the 2nd deck on the lowver level, that hosts the private hot tub.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days We accept arrivals on any day of the week when nights stayed are all have the same rate. If rate changes during your stay, especially when it involves HOLIDAY RATE, you must email me before booking. Bookings will be cancelled if they do not meet with arrival day requirements.
Cancellations Made by Guests Payments are 75% refundable with 6 months notice. You will receive a 50% credit on a future booking if you cancel at least 45 days prior but less than 6 months. All other payments are non-refundable. Credits for future booking must be used within one year of original booking date. All refunds, changes and credits will be subject to a 10% cancellation or change fee.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Reservations are not held without a deposit. Please click RESRVE NOW to confirm reservation . Our site takes live reservations 24/7 therefor we operate on a first come first serve basis.

Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is between 11:00pm and 7:00am . excessive noise during this time could result in being evicted.

Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage . Thanks for visiting our web site! We are Janine and Heinz. We live in San Francisco Bay area, California. We have traveled a lot around the world, but we all fell in love with Big White and the Okanagan Valley and could not wait to make it our 2nd home. Although we travel a lot around the world and have been to many ski resorts around the world as well, we completely fell in love with Big White. This resort represents everything that is beautiful and special about British Columbia, right down to the wonderful people who live and work there, the post and beam vaulted ceiling construction,the breathtaking unobstructed views, and the peace and privacy and of course hot tub! Big White is becoming our second home. We bought our dream house here early this year and our kids cannot wait to return to the ski school for their next level training. We have had so many happy memories in this wonderful house already! Big White's charm is that it is still a hip and very cool, down to earth ski town. These towns are rapidly disappearing in BC. This resort is for people who love the outdoors and who love to ski in light, beautiful, champagne powder! It is not yet commercialized, which explains why you can still see moose and deer along the road, and grizzlies still roam on the Gem Lake side of the mountain! The only problem is that you will have a hard time leaving the chalet, because it is so comfortable, spacious, warm and friendly! My family (2 adults and 3 children) + father-in-law stayed here just after New Years in 2016 and it was brilliant. The accommodation is so comfortable and clean and the location is excellent. It's true ski in and ski out. My young (10, 11 & 13 yr old) kids couldn't wait to ski down for first runs in the morning and staying here made it so easy and safe.

Importantly, the kitchen has everything you need to cook pretty much whatever you want assuming you've bought your groceries from the Village (10 minute walk) or Kelowna (45 minute drive). There's also nothing better than coming home from an intense days skiing and jumping into the nice hot jacuzzi. What a luxury.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the old TV's to widescreen TV's, but given everyone uses their own iPads and screens these days that's not a big deal. I would highly recommend this place to families with 5 or 6 people (as long as one of you don't mind using the foldout couch like my son did). Hope this info helps...

We've never been to Big White previously (have done Whistler and Banff previously) but were blown away by this resort, and our accommodation was excellent to enhance this experience. The location is close to the main village, accessing the resort shops and restaurants either by a short but steep walk up the hill or the village shuttle bus 1 minute walk away down the road. We loved the room to spread out as we travelled with our two 20-something children - so they could hide away in their rooms or be a part of the action in the living area. Each bedroom effectively had its own bathroom too which made life much easier. The house was warm and well equipped, with a great outlook over the ski area from the living areas and hot tub. We loved the ski drying room set up in the garage; so good to have a separate area to store wet clothing and boots and put them on dry and warm the next day. The laundry was also warm enough to keep shoes, clothing, towels etc dry. Huge washer and drier set-up was much appreciated over the week. Probably the most difficult aspect was finding the unit - we found Legends complex easily enough, but didn't realise that the condo numbers were on the archway above the garage/entry area. Once we found the place all was well. We had one other small issue (of our own making though) in that we had an early morning flight from Kelowna on departure date. Trouble was the excellent light fluffy snow we'd enjoyed all week kept coming and we ended up being snowed in when trying to drive out at 5.30am! Managed to shovel a way to the road, but road was impassable. If you have to depart early - drive to Kelowna the previous day rather than risking missing your flight, as we ended up doing. What I'm saying is the snow is awesome, the village is great, we loved being able to ski in and out of the unit, often returning here for lunch. This particular complex' location and amenities was excellent and we'd come back if we ever make it to Big White again.

We are coming back!!!
